I deduced that something in it wasn't right and caused my stomach to react. But I've been to Wood's before and I usually enjoy their coffee and their shop's ambience. Batter and fish were light and crispy, far far better than the sorry greasy ones you get when a restaurant pulls the filet out of the freezer and drops it in the fryer.“

“My fiance and I had our first date at Ulis 4 years ago. The food was delicious, the service was amazing and the view is beautiful. So when our 4th anniversary came around we decided to have our first date all over again. We went to Ulis again for some delicious food. When our server asked us what our plans for the day was my fiance told him that we had come to Ulis on our first date and that it was our anniversary. Our server was absolutely amazing (I wish I could remember his name, but unfortunately I can’t) he went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely experience. He even brought us out some compliantly cheesecake for us to celebrate our anniversary. Our server had no idea that my fiance had plans on popping me the question that night. I would like to thank everyone at Ulis from the bottom of my heart for helping make our special day that much more special, memorable and for the amazing service and yummy food. If you are looking for a restaurant that has absolutely amazing service, delicious food, and a beautiful view you need to dine at Ulis. Highly recommend!“

Lots of seating and easy parking. I arrived around 1 PM and there were a few spots available. There’s a coffee shop inside the bakery. I haven’t tried their coffee yet, but the bakery itself is amazing. The muffins are delicious and the buttery cake was sweet and yummy. Can’t wait to come back and try more!“

“I have been purchasing from Pizza Pizza for over a year and while the food is good what I most appreciate about it is the service the delivery officer offers. He is kind, patience, and follows delivery instructions. One surprise I got was one day when he was off and his wife did the delivery and she was just as kind. Note that going in and ordering is great as well as the staff is welcoming. Keep up the great job.“

Everything was perfect from start to finish.
Coconut calamari was delicious.
Crispy shrimp bowl also a winner, delicious vegetables. Lots of leftovers for lunch the next day...just as delicious the second time.
Seafood risotto was amazing.
The maple créme brulee...in a word...divine.
Our waiter was very professional and attentive...couldn't have asked for a better evening.

“I walked into White Rock Natures Fare this morning at opening. Had the Best experience ever. First off, I was buying some wellness products on sale day. Tia, at the cosmetic counter, was outstanding with her knowledge, honesty, and charm. I did not feel pressured in any way,. Tia!!!! Your the Best. :). then i was looking at some out door plants, and Stephan the produce manager took it upon himself, to bring more to show me from the back. At the check out, Dan the manager was as well so friendly and welcoming. Thank you team @ Natures Fare White Rock. I can definitely call this my New favourite store to shop.“

“They were running a bit behind on our starter order, but the manager came over to apologize and explained it had been sent to the wrong table. Then our tofu dragon bowl arrived with a piece of chicken in it, and since we’re all vegetarians, we flagged it right away.

Credit where it’s due, the server and manager handled it like pros. They owned the mistake instantly, removed the dish from the bill, offered to remake it (which we declined as we were full), and even knocked another $15 off.

While the menu was updated and no longer offers my favourite dish I ended up trying something new which was great. I enjoyed a free birthday dessert which was wonderful. Our server was amazing providing helpful information about menu items when I asked which helped me make my decision. I will return.“

Oh and no salads anymore. $2 extra if you have only the fruit with it. $3.50 extra if you then add potatoes (fries). $3.50 extra for hollandaise (cuz no gravy avail.) $3.50 extra for the coffee. (seriously?) $17.45 meal becomes $30 when it's an actual fully-formed meal.“

Yes he tried to upsell for special but I got a Stromboli, four meat but I do t like bacon so asked for green peppers instead. Surprise, no up charge! Person was nice, food is filling, restaurant is a little cold but that’s probably to be expected. PS I’ve never given 5 stars, nothings perfect!“
