“Excellent service from Elizabeth! She was so friendly and attentive! I ordered brisket with mac & cheese and potato salad and my friend ordered the bacon & blues burger with a brisket add on and talk about mouth watering! We also ordered the fried pickle jar and highly recommend that appetizer! We saved our leftovers for the next day and it went just as hard! Amazing hospitality from this establishment and the vibe was so country it felt like we were back home in Texas! Don’t skip out on the banana pudding and a big thank you to management and the cooks who help keep the place running smooth!“

“The food here is so good and tastes just like BBQ should. The place is a hole in the wall, but the food is incredible. The cost is comparable to other bbq places and portions are decent size, no complaints. You can smell the meat and see them smoking it outside. They have a new young man on the line that’s on the Autism spectrum and he is so sweet, fast, and made us want to support this restaurant even more. Every time we have been, the staff have been great. We will continue to eat and support here.“

“L&L saved the day for catering! This was for my dad's memorial service. One medium pan is definitely enough food to feed 24 people. I had 24 people at the event and was unsure about the size so I got medium pan of beef short ribs, a medium pan of bbq chicken, and a medium of rice. There is so much food left over! Anyway, the service was really good and the guy behind the counter brought the box of food out to my car.

“My family and I used to go there frequently from 2008-2010. We were fortunate enough to come visit recently, it's nice to see it is as good if not better and not expensive. Unfortunately, we were not able to see the owners this time. Hopefully, next time.“

“I will say that it was somewhat frustrating this place was out of so many options to place an order. The server/food preparer was very friendly, helpful & apologetic regarding the unavailable items. He was the only person we saw working in the entire place however there may have been someone behind the scenes. Many dirty tables, however w/ only 1 person visible & a constant flow of people ordering or picking up orders, we didn't see him have any downtime where he wasn't always working. The food we were able to order (pulled pork sandwich meal & 2 meat meal of smoked turkey & ribs) were good w/ decent portions. The BBQ sauce was very watery & unsure if this was how it comes or it was actually watered down.
The restaurant owner NEEDS to make some repairs to this location since it is a food establishment & the building inside appeared worn & in need of fixing.“

“No frills Korean BBQ. The meat is on an island. You select what you want and cook it. There are other side dishes. I pretty much stuck to the galbi, marinated beef ribs. I’m stuffed myself.“

“I was super happy with my pulled pork sandwich. I mixed the spicy and sweet sauces and recommend trying that. The coleslaw was good too. There was a great selection of beers. My husband enjoyed his burger and sweet potato fries as well, and I hope he saves a bite of his to-go banana pudding for me to try.

There was only one server/bartender that I noticed, but we didn’t wait long for anything. There were a few other groups dining.

We came in shortly before closing, so brisket and meatloaf were sold out—which is common for bbq joints, I believe. It’s not like they can just fire up another brisket when those take hours and hours to make. No one wants reheated leftover brisket the next day so when it’s gone, it’s gone. Makes sense.“

“We had a few fabulous meals, delicious and spectacular! Pork vindaloo marinated in tamarind vinegar, fish and farm-chicken xacuti, crunchy colourful vegetables stewed in coconut milk, and more. Even a mundane ingredient like yellow pumpkin, cooked simply in earthen vessels, tasted complex and exotic. If you ever offer cooking classes, i'd love to learn the basics!“
