“This tucked away gem was a great experience. We were seated in a romantic booth that felt nice and cozy. Our waiter was really nice and the drinks were yummy. The Brussels sprouts were absolutely amazing, some sort of glaze I wanted to lick the plate.
The steak dinner was cooked well and well seasoned, I didn’t care much for the side of fennel however the potatoes was amazing. For dessert the butterscotch crème brûlée was phenomenal, maybe the best I’ve ever had.
The photos came out dark because the lighting is very romantic and dark.
I’m heading back today for more cream brûlée 😅“

“The Rabbit Box rules for honest Seattle music. Low key, hi-fi, all genres of music and people, great food, and absolutely unique vibe. It’s under historic panels of glass built into the sidewalks on Pike St. at the Market. Seriously, you can hear great sounds, drink a fabulous cocktail and eat super food while you actually enjoy seeing people walk all over you. ❤️❤️🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠“

“Rosebay is a nice hotel cocktail bar that I'm glad to see open up in the area. The space inside was decorated well for the holidays and there were plenty of festive options available. The drinks we tried were strong and hit the mark. Service could have been a bit quicker but we were there near last call which may have impacted service speed. Would come back for another drink in the future!“

“I liked the punk-rock vibe (which didn't overwhelm in the mid-afternoon) and the extensive all-vegan menu. The roast-beef and horseradish sandwich was delicious, and clearly prepared with intentionality. Lots of non-alcoholic drink alternatives on the menu too. Note: Sandwiches are in the $18 range. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-15“

“My absolutely favorite bar in West Seattle. Amazing atmosphere but please hire nicer people as bartenders, people who actually have customer service skills. Often get one bartender who is very rude and unpersonable, seems to hate her job. 💔“

“We surprised our daughter for an early 32nd birthday. The four of us had an incredible time laughing and being awestruck at the talented performers. These were first rate acts of singing, dancing, acrobatics, athleticism and grace. The venue, service, atmosphere was electric. We loved every bit of it! Worth the money and the food was excellent. An experience we’ll talk about for weeks.“

“We happened upon the Diller room on our way back from Pikes Place market … what an unexpected but fantastic stop! If you love bourbon (and we DO) this lovely historic bar is a must visit. The bottle selection is exceptional, and Shawn our bartender provided great pours and the most welcoming attitude despite how busy he was!! A true gem of an experience in the emerald city!“

“Walked by the night before and didn't have time to pop in after work, but took note of the cool looking new spot in GTown. Checked out the menu and my mind (and belly) wouldn't allow me to go another day without experiencing the enoki fritters, so a late lunch ensued with fritters and street corn today. Ridiculously tasty, will be back with friends and family to try the rest of the menu and I'm sure you'll be serving my coworkers (repeatedly) as well. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“Our first time here! It's tucked away with the other businesses near Pike Place Market. It's where Wild Fish Poke is and you'll see their sign on the right and then up the stairs! It's across from Matt's in the Market and on the 2nd floor. Place is small so they DO require a reservation! They have an assortment of drinks, several bourbons and whiskey. I got the autumns mark which has 4 different liquors and fall spices. My bf tried the "pickle back" which is a shot of bourbon + a shot of pickle juice. I'm not a fan of bourbon but man, you gotta try the pickle juice! If you like pickles, you will like this, their own recipe too! The loaded tots you must get! Truly loaded with tender pulled pork, pickled goat horn peppers (so good), smoked cheddar cheese, GRAVY and a soft fried egg on top! I LOVED their braised beef brisket! Three hunks of beef, slowly braised and oh so tender with arugula on the side and some nice buttered onions with subtle horseradish crème on the side. Dip the beef in that crème and braised sauce, delicious! To end the good food and drinks, we had the fried bread pudding that had bourbon caramel and whipped cream. You NEED TWO of these! Like it was that good and good for one person if you ask me. Our server was delightful and entertaining! Atmosphere has nice vibes, definitely casual.“

“Fun spot for a date or just grabbing a drink. The staff had great energy when we visited that made us feel welcomed. Superb food choices, definitely not you typical bar menu. We had a great time and will be back again when we are in the area.“
“I had been curious to check this rooftop bar out and it was everything I had hoped it would be. Design-wise, it was gorgeous. Full of plants, reclaimed wood, jewel-toned couches and painting. It was cozy, elevated, and unique. Of course the views were stunning. The drinks were very well crafted with whimsical touches (e.g., Leatherman cocktail came with homemade fruit leather). The service was generally prompt and friendly. Can't wait to come back again!“

“Hidden Gem on Beacon Hill ✨
When I arrived at Family Friend, I honestly wasn’t sure if we were in the right spot. This hidden treasure only reveals itself by a small neon sign — unassuming, but absolutely worth the find. Once inside, I felt an immediate sense of warmth and comfort.
There was no hostess at first, but we were seated quickly by Sharon, whose smile and energy could light up any room. Her service alone deserves a standing ovation — patient, kind, and passionate about every dish she described.
🍲 Start with the Corn Soup (Rosary Style) — sweet corn, tender chicken thighs, coconut milk, onion, and garlic. It’s silky, vibrant, and layered with comfort and spice.
🥬 The Gollai Hågun Sope — mustard greens & kale in coconut milk and turmeric over corn. A vegan dream — not a large portion, but rich in flavor and nourishment.
🥟 Riyenu Empanadas — beautiful in presentation, though a bit too fried for my taste. The creamy green fina’dene sauce, however, was divine and worth the order alone.
🍹 Signature Old Fashioned — honey-forward and sweeter than expected; if you’re a traditionalist, you might prefer a classic version.
The outdoor patio was my favorite surprise — warm heaters, cozy art-covered walls, and an intimate setup perfect for date nights or quiet reflection. Accessibility was great, and while I wouldn’t call it “kid-focused,” it’s perfect for adults seeking calm conversation and quality food.
✨ Final thoughts: Modern, soulful, and filled with heart. A neighborhood must-try that feels like home away from home. I’ll be back to try the fried chicken and smash burger everyone’s raving about.

“Loved the service and ambience, fun place to catch up on major WWE events! It was a random find to catch up with a vibrant crowd and enthusiasm accompanied by cocktails, on tap drinks and nachos! 🍻 They have a minimal Food menu: nachos with cheese and jalapenos, Hot dogs (2 options). But you can get your own food from other restaurants inside Lariat.
Booth seating, high stool bar seats or just lounge on the old charm seats.
Requesting Lariat to add fries to their menu!“

“I wanted to really love Marina Mercantile. Made a Mother's Day Tea reservation. Our initial arrival was not welcoming and I was asked twice if I had a reservation. My mom, my daughter, and I waited an hour for our tray of treats. We were last to be served. People that arrived after us were served before us. We are the only minorities in the shop. It felt racist sadly or their service was extremely slow. The food was ok not the freshest tasting for a special Mother's Day event. Prepaid $200 with fixed gratitude and service charge. 🫤“

“I love Noi Thai Cuisine with all of my heart. The environment is very cozy and relaxing. I enjoy the candle lit dark ambiance, and the decor is great! I usually eat alone there but it feels like visiting family. Today I tried the chicken satay and it was simply incredible. My favorite part about this restaurant is the Tom Kha soup. I think about their soup when I am thousands of miles away. I think about it too much. It’s even been in my dreams. Every time I land at the Seattle airport, I am hurrying as fast as I can to the light rail so I can get to Noi Thai Cuisine for my favorite soup. Idk what they do to it…but no other Tom Kha soup will ever compare. If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be Noi Thai Cuisines Tom Kha soup. I want to start trying more of their menu, but I am addicted to their Tom Kha soup. The staff is always so friendly, attentive, and kind. I will continue to dine here as much as possible…forever. Thank you for filling me with so much joy!!!! I definitely reccommend Noi Thai Cuisine to everyone, they won’t let you down. I can’t give them five stars…..because they deserve five million stars. ;)“

“Excellent service from Elizabeth! She was so friendly and attentive! I ordered brisket with mac & cheese and potato salad and my friend ordered the bacon & blues burger with a brisket add on and talk about mouth watering! We also ordered the fried pickle jar and highly recommend that appetizer! We saved our leftovers for the next day and it went just as hard! Amazing hospitality from this establishment and the vibe was so country it felt like we were back home in Texas! Don’t skip out on the banana pudding and a big thank you to management and the cooks who help keep the place running smooth!“

“We Love Ruby Brink! Burger night—say no more…! The beef dip sandwich on the lunch menu is another favorite. We love eating here for so many reasons though. This isn’t a “high staff turnover” type restaurant where you’ll be greeted by stressed out workers plastered with fake smiles fighting over tables like you might be used you. This is a grown-up establishment with grown-up food and grown-up and experienced, competent and empowered staff and I appreciate how this dynamic expressed itself in terms of guest experience. When I say that the food is grown-up I mean that it is carefully selected and prepared from scratch and this means it does not taste like what other restaurants are doing, which often is buying bags of frozen soup and sauces from the chef supply store to keep costs down and to keep everything tasting exactly the same, every time. You will taste different things here and that might surprise you. Ready yourself for that and enjoy!“

“Disappointed in dinner yesterday. Took my mom out to eat, had the lamb kofta and chicken. Both were not good. The kofta was cool in the middle and the chicken was tough & dry. The lettuce was brown, black, and wilted throughout. I think they were rushing to switch from lunch to dinner and just threw anything together. Completely terrible experience.“

“Oak has a dedicated vegan menu & all vegan desserts, which was a huge plus! The staff was friendly & we didn’t have a long wait. The portions were large and the food was delicious! I would go back! My only cons were the prices- a little on the high side (but isn’t everything anymore? Plus they take care of their staff which is great!) It was also a little darker than I normally like (mood lighting) and a tad noisy.“

We had a good experience, the receptionist is very nice and very helpful too bad we forgot to ask her name. Our server is very good and welcoming too. And the food didn’t disappoint us. So happy coz this restaurant is just a walking distance from our place. We will definitely go back and recommend this place to our friends.“

“First visit to Jude's. I love it when you meet long-time staff who know the history of a place - Jada was our bartender - hope I spelled it correctly! She knew her cocktails too! If you read up on the background of this place, wanting to be your neighborhood joint, great food and drinks and ambience, then I think they are there. We had the mushroom etouffee with Cajun prawns, fried chicken sandwich, apple salad, and the beignets! I'm sure it is a personal preference, but I thought the beignets were better than at Toulouse Petit. Can't wait to try brunch!!“
