“Eight years ago while I worked in Fremont, I discovered Cupcake Royal in downtown Seattle across from Pike Place Market. I was delighted to find a backery that did vegan cupcakes. I am allergic to egg. I stopped in once a week, I was a regular. Their cupcakes were the absolute best. Moist,flavorful,irresistible. I love the way they were packaged. Very pleasing to the eye.I was absolutely delighted to discover their shop in Burien. I had not had one of their cupcakes in eight years because I had moved. They are still just as delicious, flavorful,moist, priced reasonable. They also serve coffee, there is a small seating area. Parking is very close to the shop.The three times the three times I have been there since discovering it, Colin has always been my cashier. He is very personable attentive,knowledgeable. I recommend this business very highly. There are not many bakeries that do vegan items. Out of all of the bakeries I called in Burien, and I called five, Cupcake Royal wS the only one who did vegan.Vegetarian options: A assortment of vegan flavor cupcakes. “Found them on Instragram and asked my American friend to bring a couple of slices to Canada for me. Vancouver doesn't have this type of cake shop...or if they do, I haven't found it yet. Super delicious and unique flavors. Next time I'm in Seattle, I will for sure come. Eating the May seasonals as I type.“

“Daaaaaamn. The cream puffs blew my mind! I bought a couple dozen for a memorial service after reading reviews and the lady working gave me one to try since I'd never had them. I took a bite while I was driving through the parking lot, and had to pull over to focus on it, it was THAT good. Follow the directions and eat it upside down so you don't lose the filling! The outer shell is like a delicate concha, and the cream is smooth and not overly sweet. The chocolate filling was almost malt flavored, and perfect too. The Macrons are surprisingly delicious too! I'm not always a fan of them, but these were really tasty and the flavors are varied and delicious. Red velvet was my favorite. No pictures because everything was devoured!“

“Don’t sleep on this place your missing out if you do! They had cute and tasty cupcakes! Get in there and try the UBE with coconut frosting and shaved toasted coconut! We had an employee last day and they were so sweet and frost them as you wait! Thank you they were devoured quickly!“

“My first time coming here with my daughter and her first time being in Seattle. Definitely an experience and this place is just soo cute... another sweet tooth hidden gem right by the public market.
