“The owners are truly kind, grateful people. The food is fresh- I had a Poke bowl with Salmon and avocado, and it was FULL of good flavor. My kids were crazy about the BBQ Chicken- awesome portions and fantastic sweet/smoky flavor! My wife tried the Yakisoba, and loved all the vegetables. Very solid value for the buck- this is a great place to check out. Glad we made the drive from Woodinville!“

“Soy garlic chicken was pretty tasty, well cooked, and good flavor but surprised the “bowl” didn’t come with rice. FYI the side of rice is instant rice… nonetheless the value for the bowl size is great- so much chicken! Could’ve shared a regular size bowl with 2 people.
Two standing tables only- more a grab and go type place. Wish they had more proper seating and fresh rice options included.“

“(had the K GRILL option) I’ve been to a lot of Korea BBQ spots and rarely are the sides AND the meat amazing typically it’s one or the other. But wow that was amazing. We had small beef feast for 2 and all the meat was AMAZING. Bean paste was AMAZING. The staff was SO helpful and delightful. Very handsome guy helped our table. It may be because of the high ceilings but the restaurant also didn’t have the super strong KBBQ smell. Which honestly was very nice! All around cannot recommend enough!“

“We ordered the Bulgogi, Kalbi and chicken wings, everything was delicious. Even the banchan was so yummy! Service was excellent! Just a perfect little jewel in Kent!“

“Had a great meal at this little Korean spot in the international district! We got the ddukbokki (wanted the special but they were out) and the spicy pork bulgogi rice bowl. Everything tasted great. The server was super nice as well. They give you free banchan as well (small side dishes). Interior was nothing to write home about but it was clean enough and they had bathrooms.
Parking: In the international district so not a ton of parking depending on what time you go. We walked there.“

“Small cozy restaurant with limited seating. Friendly staff, good food. The beef and spicy pork were both on the sweeter side, but the soft tofu soup was spicy and flavorful. With such slim pickings for Korean food on the West side, I would definitely come back here.“

“With mixed reviews I was hesitant to try Jang Soo, but I was actually blown away by how good it is!
They still serve fried fish as an appetizer/side dish - something you don’t see often nowadays. They serve rice in a stone pot - also rare. They refill your side dishes quickly and give generous refills. Their kimchi tastes fresh, like it may have been made in-house - it’s not very sour like the super fermented jars you get at the grocery store. The tofu soup tastes like it was actually made with broth - and in fact, my leftovers congealed/became gelatinous after being in the fridge.
Sure, it’s expensive and the portions aren’t overly large, but considering the price of all other restaurants and what you get, Jang Soo’s price is very fair for what you get.“

“Love the Chicken Karaage Don with citrus shoyu instead of spicy aioli here! Great egg-free/fish-free option :)
The folks working here are super friendly too! Thanks for all the wonderful lunches.
Also looking forward to S sized sweater if those ever come in stock.

“Very good and filling bento lunch from a cute yet modern hole-in-the-wall type place. Not to mention the price is very reasonable for downtown Seattle so you get your money’s worth! I’d recommend ordering ahead as it gets busy during lunch. Also they’re not messing around when it comes to their spicy katsu.“

“Basic deli. But really good food. I had the pork bowl. Cucumber topping was really good. Everything was as expected. Good lunch bowl for a good price. The surprising find was the rice cakes. A little spicy, a little sweet. Highly recommend those, and I'll definitely go back if nothing more than for those. Nothing fancy but clean. No problem for a lunch stop, but don't expect an atmosphere. I always think it's odd to have to rate a place like this for the atmosphere.“

“My sister and her husband were visiting and they wanted to try a local eatery, we chose Marination. The food is always consistent. Port Katsu sandwich was spectacular! The Aloha Fries with an egg on top is a perfect combination. The Street Tacos were devoured, two thumbs up from my sister and her husband. The service was great, thoroughly enjoyed talking with the bartender. The seating can be tough in the winter months. Outdoor seating has no heaters, tent shelters you from the rain. Indoor seating is limited, but the turnover is quick. Takeout from Marination is very convenient, parking for pick-ups almost at the front door.
Parking: Sometimes you get lucky and find a spot in the parking lot. If not, drive down to the boat launch and on the south side of the launch is parking. The walk to the restaurant is a couple blocks away. It's worth burning a couple calories.“

“I love Rainier Teriyaki! This is a frequent fave of mine because their staff is so friendly and they consistently deliver great teriyaki. The portions are reasonable for their prices as well.
My go to is the spicy version of the teriyaki.
I always bring friends and family from out of town and they all love it too.
Unfortunately, parking is a bit limited but during lunch, I haven't had any issues with that.“

“The place is very unassuming from the outside, and you could easily walk by this small establishment without noticing it. And it's a bit out of the way for tourists. But it's worth tracking down.
Got the Radical Bowl and it was great. Not only were the ingredients fresh and tasty, but the order was prepared so quickly, I barely had time to pay before the food was ready. The portion was generous and perfect; unless you have a very large appetite, you'll be satisfied.
The space is small, so dining in may be a challenge, especially if there are already customers and/or you come in a group. And I can imagine it being a lot busier during the work week. But the food is worth it.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Best wings in Seattle, hands down! We stopped at Golden Rooster on our way to the Seahawks game, and it was a game-changer. Walking in, the vibe was electric and welcoming, setting the tone for what would be an incredible meal. We were lucky enough to get a taste of the Korean BBQ wings (I think it was the owner who brought them over as samples!), and wow – they were beyond tasty. Those flavors sealed the deal, and we immediately ordered 30 wings, plus their sweet potato fries and some chicken strips. Everything was top-notch!
The wings were crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the sweet potato fries were the perfect side. This place is a must-stop spot in Seattle, and it's officially our go-to before every Hawks game. Highly recommend Golden Rooster for anyone looking to kick off their night with amazing food and a killer atmosphere!“

“FINALLY A GOOD JJAJANGMYUN AND TANGSUYUK PLACE IN FEDERAL WAY!!! I was skeptical at first when I heard about this place, because the restaurant they replaced (Hyang Mi) was terrible in my opinion, but I finally tried B Won and it is fantastic! Good vibes, good service, and great food.
The jjajangmyun noodles are nice and chewy.
The tangsuyuk batter is SUPER crispy and puffy and made with some sort of rice flour or something similar.
The ganpoonggi is also really tasty, nice and sweet and sour.
The jjamppong is just ok, I prefer mine a little more charred and roasted, but they gave plenty of noodles and vegetables.
Portion sizes are huge too, highly recommend!“

“Way exceeded expectations. I used to own a Korean restaurant, pretty picky. AYCE is the move. Kimchi is not great but doesn’t matter. Everything else is 👏👏👏. Be patient with servers. Every restaurant is understaffed and these kids are hustling their butts off. Tip big.“

“I've passed this restaurant on the way to work every day for MONTHS, telling myself I'm going to stop by one day. That day was today and I could not be more pleased. Definitely recommend the chicken of course, the mandu (fried dumplings), and the spring rolls. For drinks definitely try the Honey Citron Tea; AH-mazing! I was so upset for not coming in sooner but I will definitely be back. Customer service was top tier!“

“I went to this spot at Southcenter Mall with my boyfriend and had such a great experience! We ordered the bulgogi and galbi platters, and both were fantastic. The service was friendly. Honestly, I didn’t expect much since it’s in a food court, which is always busy, but this place exceeded my expectations.
The portions were generous for the price, and the flavors were so authentic. I especially loved their kimchi, it wasn’t overly sour or acidic and their macaroni salad was a nice touch. The bulgogi had the perfect amount of sweetness and was well-balanced. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and this will definitely be our go to spot whenever we’re at the mall.
Also, the food court itself has plenty of seating. Even though I don’t usually like crowded places, they have some quieter seating options, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend checking this place out!“

“I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while passing by. It offers a typical teriyaki menu, along with Korean dishes, some Japanese options (like sushi and tempura), and even jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles). The area is an industrial zone, so workers from nearby factories frequently drop in. Perhaps because of this, the restaurant opens early at 10 AM and closes early (3PM) as well.
It seemed like the owners, a husband and wife, were the only ones working (I couldn't see the kitchen). The owner’s wife took orders and served in the dining area. I arrived around 10:40 AM, a bit early for lunch, but there were already two tables with customers, and more people started coming in shortly after.
I ordered four dishes, including Korean and teriyaki options. Typically, teriyaki places don’t serve Korean side dishes (banchan), but since I ordered Korean food, they brought out banchan. The owner’s wife apologized for the limited variety of side dishes and generously brought out extra.
As I tasted the side dishes, they had a comforting, homemade quality, like a warm meal prepared at home. The flavors were neither too salty nor too bland, with a clean taste that didn’t rely on artificial seasonings. The dishes—spicy pork bulgogi, seafood soft tofu stew, stone pot bibimbap, and Mongolian beef—reminded me of my mom's cooking, which I loved. While the food didn’t have the commercialized taste of popular chain restaurants, it felt like it was made with care and attention, just like a meal prepared at home.
This restaurant pleasantly exceeded my expectations.
- Service: Following the typical teriyaki joint setup, you place and pay for your order at the counter before taking a seat. The staff then brings your meal to your table. A nice touch is the complimentary bottled water that accompanies your meal.
- Price: Considering the generous portions and delightful taste, the pricing is quite reasonable. While I haven't compared it to other eateries in the vicinity, the value for money here stands out.
- Food: The dishes shine with a home-cooked quality, free from overpowering artificial flavors. Each bite feels wholesome, capturing the essence of genuine, heartfelt cooking.
- Ambiance: The setting is straightforward and functional, characteristic of fast-food-style teriyaki spots. It's not fancy, but it serves its purpose well.
- Parking: There's ample parking available, though spaces can fill up quickly. Nevertheless, finding a spot wasn't an issue, and it's free of charge.
In summary, this restaurant offers a delightful blend of authentic flavors and efficient service, making it a noteworthy spot for anyone craving quality teriyaki and more.“

“SO GOOD!!! I got iced donuts and donut holes and they’re SOOOOO, like the texture, flavor everything good and so well priced. The man working at the cash register (the owner I think??) came to take my order as soon as I walked in and when he realized he I wasn’t ready( it was my first time going) he left me alone and let me take my time, I didn’t feel rushed make me feel rushed at all. And I NEVER write reviews but I had to for this one. Definitely will be coming back 100/10 🤩🍩“

“SOMISOMI is a delightful spot for unique treats! We tried the pancake fish, one filled with Nutella and the other with taro. Both were delicious, with the perfect balance of sweetness and a soft, fluffy texture. The Nutella was rich and indulgent, while the taro offered a subtle, creamy flavor. The experience was fun and satisfying, making SOMISOMI a great choice for a quick, tasty dessert. Whether you're a fan of classic or more adventurous flavors, this place has something to satisfy your sweet tooth.“

“I often come here before my shift for a meal and have plenty leftover for my lunch break. Very generous portions for the price and fast service.Nothing I have had here was top notch, that often comes with the territory of serving so many varied cuisines, but I've never had anything disappointing either.Only real gripe is that the fried rice is a Little thin, for that much of an upcharge I would hope for more egg and vegetables but it is nonetheless good tasting and plentiful so I can't really dock for that.“

“This place has a solid Hawaiian menu with lots of the classic dishes you'd look for. It's very spacious inside (bar and table seating), has TVs, and a good-sized patio out back. The fish tacos I ordered were okay. They had a tasty crema, but could have used more of it; the fish portion was a little small, too, so most bites were kind of unexciting. I also had the kale salad. It had a tasty dressing and that crunchy macadamia topping added to it. I'd happily eat it again. This place isn't bad at all, but I was a tiny bit underwhelmed after having them on my radar for a while.“

“I recently visited Asian Express Restaurant for lunch, and it was a fantastic experience! This buffet-style restaurant offers a wide variety of authentic Asian dishes, allowing diners to sample a little bit of everything. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The concept of weighing your food ensures that you pay only for what you take, making it a great value for money. Although they only offer lunch and no dine-in options, the quick service and delicious offerings make it an excellent choice for a satisfying meal on the go. I highly recommend Asian Express for anyone looking to enjoy a diverse and delicious Asian buffet during lunchtime, and I can’t wait to return!“

“Great food selection! The variety is always good, but it would be nice to be able to order a la carte in case you don't want to eat the "all you can eat" amount. Good service, but the combo of soft-spoken servers and loud-ish music made it difficult to hear what they were saying. It would also be nice if they had a menu to scan at the table rather than just up front. I almost feel like the tables could be bigger - once you get all your stuff to cook and your drinks and the burner is going, there's hardly any room to eat or cook without knocking something over or dragging your arm through something.“

“You finish a long day at work and I’m talking a long day and you’re just hankering for something fried and delicious. So where are you going to go? You’re gonna think oh Korean fried chicken, but where does one get Korean fried chicken and Burien, WA no less? Well I’ll tell you, you get it at this place called Chico chicken. It’s a new place and it’s super Duper delicious. Someone who is a fan of Korean cuisine especially fried chicken and I would definitely recommend this place. It was delicious. My only note is that there is no fountain drink area so if you want free water, you have to go up to the counter to ask for free water. And if you’re gonna get additional refills at the counter instead of there being low at little display out here where you can just get it. But worth coming.“
