“Our small group of friends were all very impressed with the atmosphere and food! My S&S burger was STELLAR, I would have to say it's the best burger I've ever had! Kudos to the chef! The cook on the meat was absolutely spot on, and the whiskey sauce and onions added lots of flavor. In addition, the atmosphere was equally nice, our hostess sat us right next to the large, inviting fireplace in the main seating area. So many charming decorations and special touches. Will definitely return, and tell all my friends to as well!“

“This place offers a rare Latin breakfast menu item called Migas and oh man is it good. The wait staff are all friendly and your cup is never empty. The atmosphere is like a cozy small diner/family kitchen and it is relaxing and laid back. And as a rare tea drinker, I can say that while they charge the same as other places for tea, they serve super high quality English breakfast tea, which was delightful. Got home and discovered two cheese burgers ( not including condiments requested) and no no waffle fries. Added my tip to this order as I usually try to do but maybe next time , ??? “Visited for first time, August 29 2024. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Ordered the fruity French toast. 3 big thick slices of bread, with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream The bread only had egg wash on one side, as if they poured the egg on the flattop and set the bread on it, As these were thick slices, the rest of it was just dry bread. Not what we expected. We thought it would be dipped and covered in egg. The silverware is the basic stamped out cafeteria style utensils and takes away from the overall experience of this otherwise homey ambience.“

“Honestly, I did not expect this alehouse to serve food this good.

I was a little surprised when I saw a Monte Cristo on the menu, since that's not something you see at all - let alone in a bar. I ended up getting it, and it was surprisingly solid.
It's kind of a mix between a French Toast and a ham sandwich. The bread is very French toast-like, being dipped in egg, grilled, and topped with powdered sugar. Meanwhile, the inside has deli meat and cheese.

This mix worked really well here. The bread was very fluffy, crispy, and well-toasted. I didn't get *too* much of an egg flavor, but I got enough that it would suffice as an average French toast bread.
What was nice, though, was how well the cheese melted on the inside. The ham and turkey tasted great as a combination with the cheese.
I got saltiness, sweetness, and savoriness from each bite.
The jam that they provided for dipping also just added to the unique experience of it all.

For a side, I had the macaroni salad, which I also really enjoyed.
The price ended up being around $24, which was a little expensive but not terrible.

Overall, this was interesting food to have at an alehouse that was actually pretty solid. 8/10“

“Granted that it has been a while since I was last there but the Blue cheese burger with sweet potato fries and spicy aioli is the best I've tried in 4 states, hands down. Oh and Great service and craft beer selection. I'll be Back for sure!“

Did pork ribs, pulled pork, & brisket.
I was really impressed with this place. Beans and coleslaw were good. Same with the sauces. Pulled pork and ribs were super tender. Only thing was the brisket was dry and chewy, so next time I’ll just do a 2 plate meat plate. But totally worth it for the other two.“

“We had the Pueblo pepper soup and the butternut squash soup and buttermilk fried chicken Korean slaw sandwich with Sriracha. Everything was fantastic and flavorful. Highly recommend this establishment! Street parking available with a back outdoor porch.

“This place was one of my favorite dining experiences that I can remember, and part of a wonderful anniversary weekend. Service was fantastic, unfortunately I do not remember the name of the server who assisted us (started with an H and was Sunday night, for management looking to recognize a fantastic job)
The food was unbelievable. We ordered deviled eggs, the wedge salad, scallops, and the 8oz A5 wagyu ribeye cap. The steak was like no steak I had previously, supremely unctuous and flavorful.

Strongly recommended for anyone staying in the hotel, or simply close enough that the trip is manageable for an excellent fine dining experience!“
