Service, atmosphere, everything was beyond amazing! We were surprised at the extremely special touches for our occasion. We had been wanting to go for so long but for us it’s a jaunt with our schedules. So we planned our whole anniversary around the Montalcino and its sister restaurant Vivi. “Very good pho broth. Balanced profile without being excessively savory or spiced l but still flavorful. Meat portions were good. Vegetable broth was very good too and is a nice options. Vermicelli dishes are large with very good toppings. Restaurant was clean. Service was good.

“Everything about the Salish Lodge and Spa is beautiful but one of the things that really set it apart was how welcoming, kind, and truly lovely all the staff were. From the valet staff to front desk to dining and housekeeping, we were treated with kindness and respect through every part of our stay. We brought our two dogs and even they were treated with a lot of love! Honestly, such a positive experience here. “Found my new go to Korean spot! Their Galbi Tang is very good especially paired with the radish kimchi. I normally don't find the banchan sets at other korean restaurants to be very good, but Danji seems to have it figured out (Especially the Kimchi). The Yangnyeom chicken is definitely up there as well in terms of flavor and crispiness.“

While walking home on a lovely fall afternoon, I stumbled upon a charming little teriyaki place that seemed to scream, “Eat outside while you still can!” Naturally, I obliged.

I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl, and wow! It was like a warm hug from a long-lost friend. The chicken, grilled to perfection, bathed in a sweet-savory sauce, had my taste buds doing the cha-cha. The rice was fluffy, and the veggies were fresh enough to make you think they just jumped off a farmer's market table—if I knew what that looked like, of course.

As I savored my meal, the sun beamed down, and I had to fend off some curious squirrels who clearly believed my bowl was their next treasure. I perfected my “I will not share” face—an impressive masterpiece, if I do say so myself.

Overall, this teriyaki spot is a must-visit for a delightful meal that pairs perfectly with the last sunny days of fall. Just make sure to bring your sense of humor and maybe a jacket for when the sun sets and the squirrels start plotting! ???️“

Sushi, on the other spectrum- all was delicious; between my little sister (which was visiting from Montana), our mother filled up on miso soups, 2 yellowtail, 2 spider rolls of the 6 & the salad n white rice...

Hopefully, next time visiting- vegetarian Kimchi will be an option, even if $7 charge for all you can have while dining 😉 !

“Visited for first time, August 29 2024. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Ordered the fruity French toast. 3 big thick slices of bread, with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream The bread only had egg wash on one side, as if they poured the egg on the flattop and set the bread on it, As these were thick slices, the rest of it was just dry bread. Not what we expected. We thought it would be dipped and covered in egg. The silverware is the basic stamped out cafeteria style utensils and takes away from the overall experience of this otherwise homey ambience.“

“Celiac and Gluten sensitive people, here's a gem of a restaurant! Very cozy and friendly atmosphere, staff are all very friendly and helpful. LOTS of gluten free options for all courses. As someone who is highly gluten sensitive/borderline Celiac, I have not had any negative experiences here (having had 3-course meals.) So far I have enjoyed brunch and a dining experience and every item has been delicious! Looking forward to many more visits to come!“

“We have been customers for over a decade. Always odering the same thing: steak and meatball pho, extra meatballs, 2 orders of eggrolls, and a side of leaf lettuce. One of our favorite Pho restaurants. Service is quick and the food is delicious! Today, we were seated at the same table 7 years ago. I was still pregnant then. We also dined here with my infant daughter when she was still in her car seat carrier/basket. My parents from the Philippines also dined here when they visited us. This place holds a lot of memories for us. Will be back again and again.“
