“Recently, Sunshine Drip accommodated a larger order for our group. Service was outstanding and flexible to our needs! Pasties delicious! Scones were moist, not hard and dry and just crumbled in your mouth!!! As one friend said, "Oooom hoom! Om nom, nom nom!!", and gave a thumbs up trying to avoid crumbs falling out of his mouth. :-)“

“Decided to try one of their cinnamon rolls and a sticky bun plus grabbed a couple of frappes. The cinnamon roll was HUGE and delicious; the sticky bun was okay and the frappes were delicious too. Anxious to try one of their paninia and sandwiches. I'm going back - today, as a matter of fact!!“

“Be forewarned: if you order iced coffee, they’ll put it in a hot coffee cup. When you walk around town condensation will form on the cup and it will begin to disintegrate. If you bring the situation to their attention they’ll just tell you to drink faster. Other than that, it was an excellent place; fast service; great location.“

The turmeric chai + honey was so warming and delicious. If you’re a huge Christmas fan, I recommend the hot chocolate. Brings you to Christmas no matter the season. They don't give you one or two choices of over roasted and burnt sbux coffee, they give you a choice of coffees from around the world that they roast here in town. Unless you're buying an espresso drink, each cup is a handmade pour-over. The view of the sound is incredible and the quiche is delicious.“

“The Nest is such a great space for kids. It's been so good for my youngest (12) as it's safe and so welcoming. To have a place I feel comfortable sending him off to on his own is a godsend. It allows for independence but also it's a little community of new friends. 😍“

“Whidbey coffee is great, the only place to get your coffee within a 50 mile radius of oak harbor.

However, recently when I went to whidbey coffee they had a trivia question, in which if you get the answer right, you would then get 50 cents off your drink.

The question was, “who was the first person to host SNL?”

A couple weeks before this I just watched a movie about the beginnings of Saturday Night Live, and knew the answer was George Carlin.

Out of the 3 possible answers they had listed, which included Steve Martin (who has hosted SNL 16 times), none of the possible answers were George Carlin.

I then said, well it’s not Steve Martin, which the barista said, are you sure, and I said yes.

Short story long, they had the right answer as Steve Martin, I said it wasn’t the right answer, they said look it up, I did, showed them it was George Carlin, and then they said well that’s the answer we got from the boss who made the question, and I did not get my 50 cents off.

I don’t care about 50 cents because it doesn’t matter, however, please, if you make a trivia question and then have a prize or reward for getting it right, make sure to have the right answer as an option. And also, if someone shows you that the answer you have is wrong, just take the 50 cents off and move on.

“Went in and had the young lady barista explain in detail about the new Oleato coffee and let me try a sample before buying was a winner for me. Experts. And the latte was delicious. She even suggested a shot of vanilla in it. Well done 👍“

“Wow! TBH I went here because they were open early but was pleasantly surprised by their service and coffee. The barista was intelligent and intuitive (didn’t need to ask, she just put a stopper on the coffee that wasn’t mine) and could clearly see I was in need of caffeine and didn’t mess around. They have peanut butter syrup (one of my faves) and white coffee. Great start to my day!“

“Still the "Best in the West" coffee: Jet Java Coffee Company! The Wells sisters are clearly the top baristas in the country. We are currently searching east of the Mississippi for the "Beast of the East Baristas." We may have found them in Westerly, Rhode Island. So far they have a strong hold on the East. We'll see how their repeatability is. Jet Jet Java Coffee Company cappuccino by the Wells Sisters, still reigns supreme to us! Happy Thanksgiving“

It was a rainy cold fall day and I was in my way for a hike… she made my drink as perfect as you could get it. Not only was it delicious, she was sweet and professional!

“It is not often that I go out of my way to write a google review or even think to write one- but I couldn't help but get over the outstanding customer service this team of baristas collectively provided every day I came in for the week I visited the area. A few times I was even served at my table and each time with the kindest smile or brief conversation. They go the extra mile for you and it shows.

P.S. Don't hesitate to try their banana chocolate chip loaf warmed or the garlic parmesan bagel toasted with cream cheese. YUM.“

“I moved to Oak Harbor recently and was so worried I wouldn’t know where to satisfy my coffee/tea addiction. Finally found my #1 place and I’m so happy I did because they are amazing ☺️ I am in love with their matchas with cold foams, iced caramel lattes, hemp lattes, cake pops, breakfast, you name it. Not a lot of places have hemp milk which I’m in love with, so the first time I tried my drink, I knew I was done coffee hunting. Seriously they know how to make their drinks delicious EVERY single time. I also love the sweet girls who make my drinks and love on my puppy when I bring him. Plus the loyalty program! Kid-friendliness: I have always gone to Starbucks as long as I can remember. It has always been very welcoming. Just don't let the little ones get to out of hand because sometimes people are trying to get work done.“

“We had chicken mole and enchiladas as well as a hibiscus tea and a hot chocolate. Everything was very delicious and the service was wonderful. My husband said it reminds him of eating in a small café in Mexico. My only dislike was the Nirvana music pounding out of the kitchen because the dining room and the kitchen are all one space. Some interesting Mexican music would have been great.“
