“I go to Port Angeles typically once a month. The last year, I have been making this trip on Tuesdays. I arrive at the ferry early and take a walk. That’s when I think, it would nice to have a coffee. Oh ya, Callens is right across the street. Unfortunately, they are closed on Tuesdays and don’t open till 9am the other days. I only bring this up because virtually every time, I see people walking up to find the only business capable of serving coffee at the ferry terminal closed. Obviously, I have no idea how much staffing they have and certainly they need a day off. I am only pointing out they have a captive audience here looking for coffee and possibly something to eat while they wait for the ferry. Thank you for the opportunity to express my thoughts as I would like to support this local business.“

“Mai Thai is our go-to for Thai food. We chose it over Naung Mai in Oak Harbor initially because of the price difference, but the portions are bigger and there's more of your chosen meat/protein in the soups and entrees. That said- be aware you have to LIKE SPICE. Recently it has been difficult to get "spice 1", which should just be a hint. If you say "no spice", it's OK, but not Thai, right? But if there's a difference between 1 and 4, I can't tell. Our Pho soup tonight (spice 1) was burning our throats. The pad thai was OK at spice 1, but still quite a bit spicier than I would assume 1 would be. This is a new development for this restaurant, so it is probably a new chef. Just BE AWARE. Anyway, most people complain the food in the PNW is too bland, so you won't have that problem, at least! And as far as ordering, we use the online app. Add five mins to the time it says your pick up is ready. It is never ready. Door Dashers use this place constantly, and they clog the order process. There is indoor dining, but we have never used it, thanks to Covid protocols. Also- a final word on parking. The parking lot has been sectioned off from looping through the driver's ed school next door. Therefore the lot is super tough to turn and get out. You are better off parking along the strip by the salon to the left of the restaurant and walking up. Please be careful in this area of town at night.“

“My wife and I were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful experience / Dinner.
We started with salad. I had a half Cesar. Excellent dressing, my wife had the washington apple salad which was also delicious. Our entrees , my wife had the Ravioli evening special and I had the cod fish and chips, very good. Our desserts were the cheese cake and carrot cake and we both found them amazing, really good. For drinks, my wife had a lemon drop which she really enjoyed and I had a local peach cider (Excellent!) Our server was Taylor B and she was personable and and did an excellent job taking care of us. “Our son recently got married in lovely Pt. Townsend. We needed to host 30 people for the groom's dinner. There are not many places in town that can accommodate that large of a crowd. However Jason was willing to offer our group his entire front room for this event. Being from out of town everything was arranged through one phone call and text messages. Jason recommended a family style dinner with three entrees, 4 appetizers and two additional sides. The food was amazing, the service was delightful, everyone was comfortable and well fed. I can't recommend this restaurant enough for the wonderful experience it gave us and fond memories for the newlyweds. This was quite a place for a destination wedding and our flawless experience with Jason made it even better. My only wish is he owned another one in Minneapolis, then maybe he'd be a Vikings fan!“

“I’ve paid way more than twice as much for seafood not half as good. Raised in Maine I know good seafood and this was better than anything I’ve ever had. His clam chowder and Deep fried Halibut are nothing short of the very best there is. Wonderful meal!“

“Banana Leaf is a favorite of ours for Asian food in PT, and it never disappoints. The dishes are delicious, and the spiciness on-target with our regular requests of 4 (pleasantly spicy) to negative 2 (not spicy at all). The servers are always friendly and helpful. Some of our favorite dishes are Golden Cashew, Rama, Massamun Curry, and Mango Ginger Duck.“

Stopped in from camping to have a beer, the Port Townsend Porter and the Amber are super smooth and very delicious.The brewery definitely has a super chill relaxed vibe, service was excellent as well.They are kid friendly as well and have soda for the kiddos. They don’t have food but don’t mind if you bring yours in just FYI.I highly recommend this place and definitely will be coming back.Thanks for the hospitality and excellent service.“

“We stayed at the Marina RV Park for the weekend and decided to walk on over the night we got in. We had the BEST food and service, we loved it so much that we came back with some friends the next day for lunch. This place has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants, we will be back anytime we’re in Port Townsend. “The place is a little unkempt, there’s paint peeling off the walls and a general dirty kind of look, but it wasn’t terrible. The lady working the register and food was really nice, and the gyros weren’t half bad. The hillbilly gyro was also very yummy, and the rosemary lemonade for $1 was a hit for the kids.“

“Customer service is a lost trait in this world. Dale, at China City, Oak Harbor is the bomb. I can’t say enough about the service she offers! Very attentive, very professional and personable! There were 4 of us, she took our order without writing anything down and it came out perfect. We even ordered extra items and she didn’t miss a thing. We didn’t have to wait or ask a second time. Our food came out hot and delicious. She was fun and funny. Many of times I have walked away from a bad experience but not here! Dale is awesome! She is a true gem!

“My friend and I stopped here after spending time on Orcas Island. I was here visiting from Missouri and craving seafood. They accommodated my craving crab. Great service from a cute new employee who took great care of us. As well as the staff who took care of our meal. It was so good and we were so appreciative. I would whole heartedly recommend this place.“

“We used to come here in the past so we stopped by for breakfast recently. I'm not sure why but everything got very expensive. I'm sorry but spending $20 for an omelet is ridiculous. Everything cost significantly more than the last time we were in. So much so is that my wife and I shared an omlet and ordered nothing else.

You need to reevaluate you prices. Especially for breakfast. Most things are at least 40% higher. Those prices for breakfast are crazy.“
