“I go to Port Angeles typically once a month. The last year, I have been making this trip on Tuesdays. I arrive at the ferry early and take a walk. That’s when I think, it would nice to have a coffee. Oh ya, Callens is right across the street. Unfortunately, they are closed on Tuesdays and don’t open till 9am the other days. I only bring this up because virtually every time, I see people walking up to find the only business capable of serving coffee at the ferry terminal closed. Obviously, I have no idea how much staffing they have and certainly they need a day off. I am only pointing out they have a captive audience here looking for coffee and possibly something to eat while they wait for the ferry. Thank you for the opportunity to express my thoughts as I would like to support this local business.“

“Part of my job is to order catering for sales events. I usually use a catering website to place these orders remotely. This particular site unfortunately could not provide any restaurants that would deliver to necessary location. I ended up finding Noe Jose Cafe and contacted them directly in hopes they would be able to assist and so glad that I did! I spoke with The Jose himself and he was so very helpful! He was able to work with me on all the logistics, needed supplies and the delivery! I received calls and texts for any updates on my order, which was so appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised by how much support they were willing to offer and couldn't thank them enough! Everyone really enjoyed the food and everything went so well! Thank you Jose and team!!!“

“One of the best restaurants in Port Townsend which says quite a bit. A nice variety of locally sourced eclectic Pacific Northwest regional cuisine. They also have a nice variety of wines and cocktails (including alcohol free).
It was very busy and service was efficient and friendly. Prices are moderate to moderately high, but very reasonable for the high quality.
Vegetarian options: I can't remember specifics since I'm not vegetarian I think they're fairly limited.
Parking: Usually ample street parking but can be limited during tourist season and festivals.“

“Mai Thai is our go-to for Thai food. We chose it over Naung Mai in Oak Harbor initially because of the price difference, but the portions are bigger and there's more of your chosen meat/protein in the soups and entrees. That said- be aware you have to LIKE SPICE. Recently it has been difficult to get "spice 1", which should just be a hint. If you say "no spice", it's OK, but not Thai, right? But if there's a difference between 1 and 4, I can't tell. Our Pho soup tonight (spice 1) was burning our throats. The pad thai was OK at spice 1, but still quite a bit spicier than I would assume 1 would be. This is a new development for this restaurant, so it is probably a new chef. Just BE AWARE. Anyway, most people complain the food in the PNW is too bland, so you won't have that problem, at least! And as far as ordering, we use the online app. Add five mins to the time it says your pick up is ready. It is never ready. Door Dashers use this place constantly, and they clog the order process. There is indoor dining, but we have never used it, thanks to Covid protocols. Also- a final word on parking. The parking lot has been sectioned off from looping through the driver's ed school next door. Therefore the lot is super tough to turn and get out. You are better off parking along the strip by the salon to the left of the restaurant and walking up. Please be careful in this area of town at night.“

“If you asked me how good the quesadilla was, I would say it was good. But if you asked me on a deeper level, I would say it was the best quesadilla I’ve ever had. I went to bed thinking about it, dreaming about it and I woke drooling about it. The quesadilla and guacamole was exquisite and the perfect size. Not to big not to small, just right. I wish Gordon Ramsey was here to taste such a fine delicacy.“

“Amazing food! Super reasonable prices with big portions, great service, and a super fun vibe. A must try if you’re anywhere near the area. More than worth going a little out of the way for. The jerk ribs were exceptional, and the vegetarian platters were amazing for our non meat eaters. My family and I are absolutely in love!“

“Our son recently got married in lovely Pt. Townsend. We needed to host 30 people for the groom's dinner. There are not many places in town that can accommodate that large of a crowd. However Jason was willing to offer our group his entire front room for this event. Being from out of town everything was arranged through one phone call and text messages. Jason recommended a family style dinner with three entrees, 4 appetizers and two additional sides. The food was amazing, the service was delightful, everyone was comfortable and well fed. I can't recommend this restaurant enough for the wonderful experience it gave us and fond memories for the newlyweds. This was quite a place for a destination wedding and our flawless experience with Jason made it even better. My only wish is he owned another one in Minneapolis, then maybe he'd be a Vikings fan!“

“Banana Leaf is a favorite of ours for Asian food in PT, and it never disappoints. The dishes are delicious, and the spiciness on-target with our regular requests of 4 (pleasantly spicy) to negative 2 (not spicy at all). The servers are always friendly and helpful. Some of our favorite dishes are Golden Cashew, Rama, Massamun Curry, and Mango Ginger Duck.“

This place was absolutely the best we've had in the state of Washington thus far! We had the wet Chile Colorado burrito and it was FIRE! good size portion and perfect balance of meat and all other ingredients. Would definitely recommend!“

“Very busy spot but well worth the wait. Here during wooden boat festival so it was extra busy.
One cook, one counter/ server and a dishwasher were all there were working. They did great but it was a long wait. Understaffed.
I got the Italian sausage pizza and Caesar salad. 5/5 on both. Crust perfect; generous and obviously high quality ingredients; great sauce with a touch of garlic(?). The Caesar was great. Fresh, crisp and the croutons and dressing were awesome. They do something tasty with everything they make. Highly recommend but plan ahead for the crowd.“

“Literally a breath of fresh air, as you hurrily hold your breath near the pulp mill, right after a danky spot, you reach the last remaining pizza mecca of the Olympic Peninsula. We were nearly immobile, following the fantasy that was in our mouths, sauce, cheese, meat, grease (#souljuice), fountain drinks flowed like Seahawks sacks on defense. The ranch dressing was pure, salad bar was fresh and the pizza masters were extremely talanted.“

“We did not have high hopes for this place, as we have gone literally years trying to find good Chinese food that isn't overly greasy, but this place was a great surprise! First, the decor and atmosphere is very upscale and beautiful. The staff were very pleasant and attentive, and the food was great! I had chicken lettuce wraps (crispy, fresh, light and delicious), and some of the best egg flower soup I've ever had. My husband got almond chicken, which he says is hard to get right, but he loved it. Light and crispy. Definitely five stars!“

“We stayed at the Marina RV Park for the weekend and decided to walk on over the night we got in. We had the BEST food and service, we loved it so much that we came back with some friends the next day for lunch. This place has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants, we will be back anytime we’re in Port Townsend. “Second time we've been here while visiting Oak Harbor and it's been great each time. Brunch was really good and the drinks were delicious. Great bloody Marys and mimosas. They also had gluten free toast which was really nice since a lot of places don't serve it. The server was also really fun to chat with and spot on with her customer service. Will be back for sure!
Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free toast“

“My BF grew up going here and had to show me on my first trip to Oak Harbor. What a gem in this small town!!! They offer Impossible beef AND jackfruit which can be used as the meat in anything on the menu. They also have vegetarian rice and lard-free refried beans (unheard of at Mexican restaurants)!! They also have a huge bar and cute outdoor spot with TVs. Absolutely love this place, and now we go there every time we're in Oak Harbor!“
