“I kept hearing about how great this place was so I finally gave it a try. Yes, the exterior is a little shabby but the inside looks clean and tidy. The 4 times I have been I was help by a very pleasant woman. I have always ordered the steak burrito. I really enjoy that the cheese inside is melted and they seem to have just the right amount of ingredients. The burrito is easy to consume on the go by removing the foil wrap as you make your way down. I may try other options soon but the burrito is so darn good it dances through my mind every time I drive by! They usually have a few cars lined up, you can drive through either side and they have a walk up window if you want to eat at their covered outdoor seating area. The building could use a face lift but don’t let that stop you from a delicious, quick stop, on the go or at the park meal.“

I went during lunch around around 1245. Atleast 6 people ahead of me, a few after. I was greeted with a warm, friendly smile when ordering and at pickup. I felt welcomed, thank you. Total I waited less than 10 minutes. I was given a pager and waited in my vehicle.

The food truck has outdoor picnic tables and a sheltered seating area.
Plenty of parking, pretty easy to get in and out of.
It is located next to the train tracks; a train went by while I waited and it really wasn't noticeable.

“It’s been along time since I came to Tacos Pihuamo in Monroe. They have maintained their quality over the years! It’s always a pleasure to revisit a place with fond memories. I ended up getting asada, carnitas, and pollo tacos. They were just as delicious i remembered“

“This place had the best chicken and mole in the world little sweeter like Texas style. The only other place like that was jalisco’s in Kirkland, which closed a long time ago. i’ve gone in there almost every week for five years and had the chicken and moly. I’m sad to say the last two times I’ve had it. It’s now authentic moly, which is not sweet. This is one of the few places I like to eat at in Monroe first time I’ve ever left a comment. Hopefully, the owner reads it. I probably buy more chicken moly than everybody else combined. The staff and food is always excellent. I enjoy my time there, but unfortunately that’s My favorite meal and I’m disappointed that I’m going to have to skip it from now on. I guess everything changes. Nice tequila selection and plenty of other spirits available. The bar is fun and lively and has tvs for sports.“

“The quality of fast food here is just awesome. Every time we visit I order a Fish Soft Taco which is huge- huge!- and seriously delicious. There's some delightful flavor experiences wrapped up in that one taco! I don't even get the meal, but my children love their kids' meals. Healthy choices! I also LOVE their platter entrees which are only about $6 and their served on a real plate, if you eat in. This place is a great little treat.“

“Taco time is so much better than the other guys in my opinion!

I’m a picky vegetarian with GI issues and several sensitivities which limit my options for fast food (let alone just trying to find quality fast food). I almost never eat out — partly because I’m a picky eater, and partly because most places leave me feeling weighed down or give me stomach aches. But Taco Time has been such a pleasant surprise! The quality of the food is consistently fresh and flavorful, and I actually feel good after eating here.

Even without a mock meat option yet (which I hope they’ll add in the future along with other veggie options), there are still plenty of vegetarian-friendly choices like crisp bean burritos, veggie tacos, bowls, and salads with fresh salsa and guacamole, etc. The portions are decent for the quality and price, and you really taste the difference in the ingredients compared to typical fast food.

The staff here are always friendly and efficient — my order is ready quickly, and they get it right every time. For a quick-service healthy spot, Taco Time really stands out in terms of quality, freshness, and customer care. It’s one of the only fast food places I actually trust.

“This place is insane! I came in first thing in the morning to buy tamales and just had a mouth orgasm. 😂 I don’t know what else I could say. These tamales were a 20/10! They had chicken pork and jalapeño and cheese. They are huge and the most flavorful thing I’ve ever eaten. This place is for sure a hidden gem. If you love Mexican food or you love tamales, this is where you want to go there isn’t anyone else anywhere even near here that has anything like this.“
