“Taco Time is a fast-food chain recognized for its Mexican-inspired menu. The variety of tacos, burritos, and other items cater to diverse tastes. While it offers convenient and quick service, the overall quality can vary between locations. Prices are generally reasonable, making it a budget-friendly option. The freshness of ingredients and the taste depend on individual preferences, but Taco Time provides a decent fast-food experience for those craving Mexican flavors.“
“The service was absolutely fantastic! The food a culinary delight! Melt in your mouth delicious! That being said...do not go without a reservation. The location is horrible and very sketchy parking. Extremely loud atmosphere and big bucks!“
“Look no further, this is the truck you have been searching for. Deep flavor, hint of smoke, very balanced spices and seasonings. Even the sauces that come with the food are amazing. Definitely saving whatever sauce is left to drizzle on later!“
“The only reason why this place was not getting 5 stars is because the chips and pico were absolutely disgusting, like we almost left. The pico was dry and flaky and very sour, and the chips were cold and overly fried.BUT my husband's burger was amazing, and those were the best shrimp tacos I've ever had!!The service was great. Our waitresses was very nice. She felt awful for the chips and compted us with some nice dessert. She really didn't have to do that, but it was a really nice surprise. She was awesome!“
“The owners are amazing and genuinely care about making good food for you. Does chef brought our food out to the table and with so excited to serve it to us. I went on a Saturday. Dreamed all Sunday about it. Then Monday I HAD to go back for more. Birria tacos are the best I've had!“
“A delicious new experience for me , food was very full of flavor , cooked amazingly, and done in just minutes! Little to no wait in line , friendly ladies taking the order and phenomenal cook. I'll be eating here again! Super convenient location right by the Chevron off 410. Give them a try you won't regret it , try the Birrias #12!!!“
“WOW! This place was amazing! My dining companion and I ordered the burrito asada, the tacos asada and pollo, and a agua fresca. Everything we ordered was made fresh, you can even watch the guy cooking your food while you wait. The tacos were served with a whole pile of meat on top of their respective tortilla, and you choose your own toppings from the condiments/salad bar yourself. As a picky eater I appreciate being able to choose ?. The burrito was PACKED with meat! I'd guess it was about 75% meat and 25% rice and beans. They are run out of a trailer on the side of the road, but when I was there they had a very large heated tented area with picnic tables for patrons to eat at.“
“Tamales Tamales Tamales!! If you are a tamale connoisseur, like I am, you will LOVE it! They have many savory flavors like pork (spicy or not) chicken, jalapeño cheese, chicken mole… and many sweet flavors like pineapple, blueberry… They also sell tacos and burritos, flan and other sweet treats!I haven’t tried everything on the menu yet but what I did try was amazing so I cannot wait to come back already!“
“Great food. I was challenged to describe authentic vs traditional. While this is fusion, I would not describe the food here as traditional. And that is exactly why it is really good! The chef takes care to make sure you're getting a dish they themselves would eat. You can taste it. The lumpia is probably the most consistent taste and bite I've had in lumpia probably ever. Is it traditional, not from what I've tasted, but this lumpia eats like a meal on its own. It's got a vinegar dip for it that compliments really well. I would go for just lumpia alone. The mole sauce is not not traditional, but it's a great blend of sweetness with an earthy flavor that really is great. Meat was tender in all dishes. The horchata was made in house which made for a nice touch. The fusion on Mexican style rice that had peas, corn and carrots. I'm sure the breakfast will be good and the hard alcohol drinks were decent. I would say this is a great spot to try. If they just put a giant picture of their art on the outside front of the building, this place would not probably be much of a secret for long. Side note, yes, service was slow, and the radio was choppy from the Wi-Fi connect . The layout of the place left a lot to be desired. Waitress was amazing. Very personal and enjoys the beers served and food here. Give her a raise.“
“I had the carreta plate. (The wagon plate) which is 1 chicken tamale 2pc pork chucklin, 1 pupusa 1 taco , 5pc yucca fried, good portions. And good taste, but should say what really stood out was the steak on the taco was really good, nice flavor and no fat on it. Also the red taco salsa is spicy and goes with the taco. Although the place is Salvadoran the tacos where small but satisfying.workers are friendly and attentive. Patient. Will go back for more.Parking: Inside a 76 gas with carwash station lot. Outside chairs and tables. Easy mellow going place.Kid-friendliness: Ladies are attentive and nice. Verry mellow place.“
“Our first time trying this place and it's our new favorite spot! We ordered tamales, Birria tacos and the Cali burrito. The tamales was so flavorful and it had alot of meat. The birria tacos was delicious and it was our first time trying the Cali burrito. The burrito is huge. It's big enough to share with someone and the hot cheetos in it was my favorite part. Yoni (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was super nice! You've got to try this place, you won't be disappointed.“
“My husband and I went with my daughter who recommended it. My husband had a large combo plate, I had fajitas, my daughter a quesadila. All of us loved our food. Their margaritas excellent. Service great.. Can't wait to go back and try other “
“Always lovely food, wonderful service, and it's really quick and easy. They operate out of a trailer, you walk up where the menu is posted on the side, order and pay. They're open late and I love driving to get some good tacos and horchata when I can. The people are always nice and kind! Seriously, try it, I love their tacos.“
“Holy moly this place is absolutely delicious! I had to fish tacos as recommended by the other reviews and they were really awesome, along with the taco al Pastor. My husband had the burrito and it was very delicious, the tortillas super fluffy. We look forward to eating at this place again when we are rolling through Federal Way. It’s places like this that keep us interested in discovering all the hidden gems around this area. They also have Mexican sodas and other delicious looking things on the menu..“
“This place was delicious!! The lady took care of my wife and I very well! She was very very sweet! Now the food… I’m a very very picky eater but this, this food was the best food I’ve had in a LONG time! I highly recommend if you’ve never tried this place to come and eat here at least once!“
“Our friends recommended this place saying it was a "hidden Gem" so we tried it. They weren't wrong! This place was perfect. We've gone back again and again. The staff are so friendly. The food is to die for. Definitely the best Mexican food in Pierce County! I highly recommend!“
“I had the opportunity to eat alone in this restaurant and my opinion is that the place is very cozy, I was able to enjoy a very delicious roast meat, the service was excellent, the attention of the staff was excellent and the prices were very affordable, the portions of the food were quite Well, I will definitely return, greetings.“
“The sopas are so freaking good. Crispy and crunchy fried dough without being too greasy or thick. The toppings were fresh and amazing.....juicy tomatoes, crunchy lettuce and very good cheese quality. I think my favorite sopas in Seattle Greater Area. The tacos were tasty as well. I got asada, carnitas and chorizo. Would recommend all of them. Amazing gem of a place.“
“?"A hidden gem".?Worth every penny!?Carnitas tortas are Amazing?.Churros are super sweet.? Whip topping helps smooth the sweetness.I will Definitly be back for more and I will try something different on the menu.(I am a non smoker.Authentic flavors were on point)⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“Good mexican food is hard to find in Washington but I'm sure glad we tried this place & we WILL be back! I tried the fish tacos & they were excellent! We've gone a few more times & they are still great. My husband ordered a burrito & gave it a thumbs up! So glad we found this place!“
“The birria tacos were sooo delicious that we had to come back the following day. We ordered a big plate for my family and we got full & still had left overs! The price was very worth. I wouldn’t get over the birria tacos and the fries. I enjoy the drinks as well!“
“Absolutely amazing food. Probably the best food truck ever. The food was hot and fresh, amazing taste. It came out fast and the people there were really nice. The food tasted perfect and definitely worth every penny. I do recommend sharing plates though due to large portions, but the large portions make it better. Definitely a go to spot and we will be back!“
“I love this truck, it is by far my favorite in Washington. I always get the California burrito, it has so many flavors popping out every bite it's the most delicious burrito I've ever had. I used to live in southern California (taco truck capital of the US) and tried many of the trucks and restaurants there and can't recall eating anything nearly as good there. The owners are also very friendly and the service is very quick. They have won my stomach for life.“
“If you're expecting Azteca type food, this place is not for you. Its far more authentic, all the food carries some spice and they have sauces you can add to really take the spice lot another level. apparently its a small chain, who knew we had one in Auburn and there is another in Bellevue It's clean and neat, the workers are Hispanic so you know you're going to get real Mexican food and you do. My friend had a quesadilla which she said was too spicy for her, I took a taste and didn't think so. It was very large and she took some home. I wasn't all that hungry so opted for fish tacos. Didn't realize their tacos are street tacos size so this was perfect for someone not starved. Came with the fish cabbage and a really good sauce that had just the right amount of heat. It's a pretty extensive menu and on the wall sort of difficult to read. Think before we go the next time will study the on line menu.“
“WOW!!! All I have to say is my boyfriend is Puerto Rican and he said the rice reminds him of how his grandma's used to taste. Their tacos are literally the BEST I have probably ever had in my life. Everything us SO flavorful and so fair priced! I've also had the wet burrito and had lunch for the next day...so good!!! 20/10!“
“Discovered this hidden gem this week for the first time, and it's absolutely amazing! I've came 3 times just this week! Lol All of their tacos are great, their enchiladas are on point, and their quesabirria tacos are out of this world! Prices are good too! If you're in the area, you have to check this one out! Love it!! :)“
“Hole in the wall Mexican restaurant at its best. The food was excellent, friendly service and clean. Small place but big on quality. Will return.Parking: It’s in a strip mall so they share the parking with 20+ other storesKid-friendliness: A place you can take your entire family“
“This little taco truck IS mine and my husbands favorite place to get a big fat lengua burrito! The burritos are huge and so jucy and full of flavor. We have been going to this truck for awhile now and it never disappoints me. In my opinion best burritos in Kent.“
“Excellent food, with very rich flavor throughout. We were surprised by the fact that the meat was cooked on charcoal. We had not had to visit one that would provide that service. Highly recommended, really, very good menu, attention and again, excellent food.“
“To start off I’m Mexican American born in San Diego California. I grew up minutes from the border going to Mexico and visiting family. I moved here 2 years ago and miss my mom’s cooking so much. I’m pregnant now and all I wanted was chile rellenos. These were just like my grandmas. The food is that authentic the meat is seasoned like traditional carne asada so it was also a nice taste of home. The tortillas were my favorite. Since moving to Washington I’ve struggled to find tortillas that don’t have that disgusting sweet flavor. I bring my own when I visit home. But these were so good. Even my daughter said the rice reminded her of her Mama’s house.I will definitely be coming back. Also the waitress and owner were very attentive. 10/10 recommend.“
“Good food, good service. Very family friendly. They greet you like they’re happy to see you, welcome you and make you feel like you should come back again. Kaylee and Angela are our favorites, friendly and attentive. Very consistent quality and consistently good.“
“This is regarding Taqueria 5 de Mayo at 26010 Pacific Hwy S, Kent, WA 98032, which I believe is what is pictured in some of the photos on this review. This is located on the corner of S 260th St. and Pac Highway in the parking lot of the Shell gas station. I've stopped here twice recently for a quick and easy dinner. The worker is friendly, the food is great, and it hits the spot. This is right across the street from El Rinconcito but is just as good, or better if you don't want to wait in Rinconcito's crazy drive-thru. My go to is the carnitas platter, my husband likes the steak or asada platter, and when I need something soothing on a rainy day, I like the birria soup. This is just a food truck in a gas station parking lot, so don't expect much in the way of atmosphere, but they do have a little greenhouse-looking hut with picnic tables if you wanted to sit there and eat. But I always take my meal home.“
“Solid Mexican food- not frilly but hot and substantial! Deliciously large Pina coladas. Large servings of food for fair prices. Salsa was spicy but that's my bad, ? Everything was good and the service was commendable. Bathrooms a little bit of a tight fit but that's the only concern. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and I would go again.“
“Wow! What an awesome place! They have a great variety of tequilas, the margaritas are great, and our server was very helpful with her recommendations. I had the chicken mole, which was amazing. I've searched for an authentic mole for quite a while, and was so pleased to finally find one. My companion had a carnitas street burrito and said the pork was super juicy and flavorful. Will most definitely be back!“
“Such a fun place. Food and staff are great. Only request the management would look at getting another person to help out, to get better customer service. Sometimes the wait is longer in between when they get back around, but they do a great job.“
“The food was pretty good here. The chips and salsa were delicious - it comes with a separate salsa, but you can also choose the self-serve salsa station. They have a delicious, creamy greenish salsa that has a little heat. I ordered the wet veggie burrito. The burrito itself was really yummy. I didn't care for the sauce too much, it was more of a tomato-y sauce than I expected, but that's on me for not knowing what I was getting. Highly recommend this place, and I plan to go back! Oh, and the flor de Calabaza was sooo delicious! We got it with tacos. Yum!!“
“We recently went here for dinner with friends for the first time. The staff were efficient and polite. We ordered the trio with grilled chicken, carne asada and bacon wrapped shrimp. Everything was delicious but the chicken had a weird texture. The chips were warm brought out and delicious. Skinny margarita could have been better. Sold 4 out of 5 stars.“
“Uber eats MADE MY NIGHT! Pozole and Burrito plate. Veggies were fresh, Tortillas grilled before we ate them, salsa is SPICY with a lovely roasted flavor. Any place that sells cheek meat and goat meat has my vote. Best order out meal I've had in a while. Photos look average but taste is delicious. Beans and rice? Finger picking. Will order again.“
“My wife and I have been going here for years. Over thing that they do to stand out, is make amazing salsa. Whenever you arrive you get both a red and Verde salsa both of which are delicious. The menu is your traditional Mexican food affair, but it's all done really well and worth stopping at.“
“I came there late at night with a few people, and ordered a few tacos and quesadillas and a few horchatas. They were hot and tasted amazing, the guy there was nice and understanding as well, I personally really enjoyed my experience and I will go back there ( did not so long ago and I absolutely devoured the cheese chicken quesadillas with my partner)“
“Food was fantastic! When ordering we asked the woman at the register what she would recommend and she said “everything”. She was not wrong, everything we got was incredibly tasty and fresh. It was a little bit warm inside the restaurant but definitely worth it. Would highly recommend this place.“
“For a moment I felt like I was eating burgers again in Mexico. The owner, Mayra is so nice and welcoming. So glad I found this place and now I can have Mexican burgers whenever I want! I had the mix and tried a hotdog and they were both amazing. For a moment I felt like I was eating hamburgers in Mexico again. The owner Mayra is very friendly. I'm so happy I found this place and now I can eat Mexican burgers whenever I want! I tried the mixed burger and a hotdog and I loved them both.“
“Ordered food for a birthday party tonight and everything was perfect. The food was hot and packed perfectly. The young woman who answered the phone this afternoon when I placed the order was very friendly and helpful. She and a young man assisted me in carrying the large order to my car. I've been a faithful customer of Azteca for over 35 years and they never disappoint. Thank you for making our party a fiesta of flavor!“
“I’d say I’m a regular customer, I come here pretty often and it always hits I really like the Birria soup and the enchiladas ??. The place is always clean and well lit up with a nice bathroom if needed ?. The staff is always friendly and welcoming as welll.“
“The food tastes delicious, but be prepared to eat any burrito without sour cream or avocado over a plate: they do not hang together enough for car eating. I got vegetarian so I didn't have any problems but the partner and kid both created showers of rice and beans all over the car.“
“Had an awesome lunch here while my daughter was playing in her volleyball tournament nearby. We ordered three different kinds of tacos (leia, pork, and chorizo) - not only were they all super delish, but the fresh house made tortillas and the extra charred veggies on the side made for an outstanding lunch. They also threw in two tamales for us to try just because. There's not a great seating area especially on a rainy day, but they packed everything up and it was easy to transport. Friendly and delicious, we will definitely head back here next time we're in the area!“
“Best consome in Tacoma and best barbacoa maybe anywhere. I was blown away by the quality, very authentic. That also means the habanero salsa is not playing games.Parking: Big parking lot with access from 3 roads.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and shareable portions for the littles.“
“The closet thing to California Mexican Food out here in WA! Them tripas tacos be bussing & the carne asada tostada is fire too! The cheese tacos is bomb, the carne asada burrito is good too! My husband always gets the Carne Asada plate with the rice & beans! Overall the service is good, nice people & bussing food!“
“Mannnn them birria tacos!!!!!! I didn’t come on taco Tuesday but it don’t even matter these tacos were so good. The place had two sections to sit in. It’s clean and everyone was nice. Food came out super fast and like it said before it was delicious. Outside of my dad’s tacos I don’t wanna eat no one else’s. This place is legit good!!!!!“
“Food was great and super well seasoned. I asked for jalapeños in my burro but yo ?I thought they were gonna gimme a watered down version with no spice and plenty of vinegar, nah fam, those jalapeños were freshly rolled and chopped WITH SEEDS ???. I had to order a second carne asada burro after I wolfed down the first(no jalapeños this time) and saved it for the next day since I would be miles away from civilization and a fresh meal, it was as good as the first and if not then better.I’m a truck driver and I appreciate spots like this, fresh food, friendly service, and the atmosphere was inviting enough. It’s at a gas station but yo, look where KFC started and look where they’re at now. KFC’s garbage though (at least now) so go to La Casa Del Taco now before they blow up and loose that signature flavor. From Phoenix to Seattle with live fam, y’all keep up the good work??“
