“Food was great! And we didn't have to wait long. Friendly staff and great variety of meats and food. It's better than several other trucks I've been to. I also, appreciate they were open until 10pm. My only recommendations for them is to put plastic covers on the table for easy clean up. There's tons of parking and plenty of seating on picnic tables. This is a hidden gem.“

They also always add these little potato wedges in there as a little bonus which are so tasty!! Their carnitas are soooo moist and delicious!!! Very consistent and friendly service. Mulitas w/the chicken and all that melted cheese, yum! The packaging was actually nicely done w/ all the condiments and utensils. The restaurant seemed cleaned and organized upon walking in. The parking is decent, only a few spaces up front but alot more parking in the back. If it is consistently like this I will make this one of my tops.“

“Sonora's by far has the best tacos around! The Carne Asada and pork were perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection keeping them exceptionally tender. Deserts/ Floats / drinks are just as good as the entree, even if a bit on the spendy side ($12-15). The tacos are around $6 but they are also bigger than street tacos. A definite 👍.“

“I’m Mexican and in case you are not …there is a rule. When you go to a sitdown Mexican restaurant you don’t order street food unless you’re broke… and if you are broke, it’s OK no one will judge you. But this is a sitdown restaurant and I followed the rules.

I did not order street food. (Tacos/burritos/tortas/etc.)

I ordered a big plate of food. It was only $17 or something like that and it was a lot of food and I could not finish it. they give you the option of grilled chicken or roasted chicken. I went with grilled and it was pretty good and the salsa was spicy.

This is what they consider a working man’s place , to go and eat bigger sized plates for under $20. The problem with most places serving Mexican food is that they charge you over $20 per these types of plates.

If you are ordering street food from a place like this, and you are not broke then clearly you do not know what you are doing. lol

if you have never tried all these different types of Mexican plates, then you are missing out. You need to broaden your horizons. Stop acting like a 5 year old 😂. (Come to place like this and get a burrito)(then drive back to your 1.3 million dollar home) what the hell are you doing? 🤣

Get the big plates with names you can’t pronounce and flavors you never tasted. Food was ⛽️“

“Went to get lunch here on a day outing with a friend visiting from Texas! The service was great, and the food tasted amazing - decent sized portions, and for a good price, not like places that give you a tiny amount and then charge you wildly for it. The atmosphere was nice; it was around 2pm if I recall, and very quiet, which I liked. My only minor complaint - and believe me, it's *minor* - is that, as someone who isn't really a beer person, that a few other options for adult beverages would be fantastic. That said, it's a restaurant, not a bar, so I get it. And it's an amazing, cozy restaurant! I'll definitely be back, and recommend it to anyone looking for some good Mexican food for a good price!“
