“The pasta here can be changed into noodles! We ordered 🍅 Bolognese Rigatoni meat sauce is super super super fragrant! The tomato flavor is very strong, and the minced meat is a combination of balls and minced meat. It tastes rich and rich. It is a Bolognese meat sauce that you can never go wrong with. 🦐Spicy shrimp bucatini is very unique! It feels like chopped peppers❤️The shrimps are very big! It’s not particularly spicy, but it’s fresh and fragrant. It’s a dish that is very suitable for Asians😁 🍕I think the most delicious pizza! Pepperoni & Calabrian honey pizza The king of salty and sweet taste🔥The cheese that can be drawn and the right surprise honey are simply a bit ecstatic! After the pepperoni is roasted, it is full of fat, and the crispy and slightly hard texture👍There are whole garlic grains that have been roasted to the texture of potatoes on it! “My family and I regularly go to the Ballard Farmers’ Market and get pizza slices from Vespucci, a pizza vendor with the best pizza in Seattle - hands down. I enjoyed that plate very much. the sauce pairs with the duck very well. it's fork licking good. the carbonara I didn't care for, I didn't finish it. it didn't taste quite balanced. also my pasta was under cooked. I checked to see if maybe I was given buccatini on accident but no, it was just underdone spaghetti. overall, I'll try it again. my experience I think was good for a first visit“

“With restaurant prices in Seattle so high, my husband and I are very particular about when, where and why we go out, so we tend to have very high expectations when we do go out. Last night was my husband’s birthday and we chose to give Lioness a try. We had a fabulous time! The service was perfect, our servers were so nice and perfectly attentive without hovering. I ordered the Lioness martini, and at $25, I was expecting something out of this world. It delivered! We ordered the burrata, Billy’s tomatoes, gem lettuces and the cavatelli pasta. Each dish was fantastic! There have been reviews complaining that you only get one slice of bread with the burrata, but the slice was big, thick and perfectly toasted, it was plenty for sharing the dish! The tomatoes had a nice spice, chili oil? Beautifully balanced. The gem lettuce salad was delicious, again a good balance between the nuttiness of roasted hazelnut in the vinaigrette and the salty creaminess of the grated cheese on top, The cavatelli was my least favorite, the pasta was a bit heavy for the sauce, I felt that a spaghetti or angel hair, being more delicate, would have been better with the fantastic sauce, but it was still delicious! We finished the meal with the chocolate cake, a beautiful sweet but not too sweet ending to a great meal. When you are spending over $200 for two, you want it to be worth it and our experience at Lioness was. Thank you Renee and you wonderful staff!“

They grabbed me with the deep dish style pizza. i started following their Instagram so i could see what was going on. over the last few years i would order a pizza from them when in the area… a few special trips just because. Now just recently I started seeing Tavern Style pizza show up on the instagram. Started with photos from other places and then Windy City pie puts tavern on their menu! i wanted to try it since it became available and finally decided to make it part of my pre game for a saturday Mariners game. if thin crisp crust is not your thing then stick with the deep dish! it continues to amaze! If you like the thin crisp pizza try the tavern. it is not just any pizza it is special. the crust is thin uniform and crisp through out the pizza. the toppings are high quality and the sauce is something out of this world! I ate about half and took the rest home to share with my wife. thought i would be able to share our reheat but it didn’t get past the cold pizza phase… this has to be the very best cold pizza i can remember! So good we didn’t take the time to heat back up we just downed it! Check them out! really great pizza on 2 ends of the pizza spectrum!“

“I went to this same restaurant a few months ago and gave them a poor rating based on a meal I ordered.
Last night's visit was very positive. I very much enjoyed the meal I ordered. Very delicious.
Parking is a pain. While there is allot of parking, they have disabled parking (not very many), too, the entire lot is behind the building and you have to walk half way around.
For those with ambulatory issues, best to drop them off alongside the restaurant.
While parking isn't the most ideal, their food is worth it.“

“This is by far, the best pizza I ever tried so far. It's definitely on the expensive side if you want the whole pie but it's worth it. This pizza is savory, its light, the crust is airy and fluffy. It's a pizza that feels very fresh, made with high quality ingredients and you can tell right away. This feels light and comforting in your stomach and the owners are very gentle and they make a great atmosphere everytime we go get our pizza.“

“I've driven by here without stopping at least 1K times. I was heading back to Seattle and thought hey let's try Sparta's.
I was pleasantly surprised. This lace ROCKS! There's plenty of free parking. The service was superb, and the food was amazing 🤩. We had lunch for two, and each got Ravioli dishes and the servings were massive. You get a choice of soup, or salad, and garlic bread. We had 2 drinks too. We got all of this for under $25. I strongly suggest that you try Sparta's. I know that we will be definitely going back there.“

“The ONLY place for pizza. Reminds me of the pizza I had in Rome. My preference is the Ballard location. The pizza crust is cracker thin, crunchy and has the smoke essence of the wood burning stove. I made a special trip during evening rush hour for hubby's birthday. I live in West Seattle. Pizza was outstanding as always and my hubby got a surprise message.
