Ok…. I travel way too much. I risk my meals and try the unexpected.
What a great surprise to find this place.

The Pho was AMAZING! A deep rich bone broth and fresh everything.

We were taken back by the dishes and simply great food.

This is the hole in the wall with surprisingly great grub.“

“The food here is AUTHENTIC Vietnamese cooking. There is absolutely no other Vietnamese restaurants in Washington State that can be compared to Lang Viet. Bought 13 dishes, since it was a bit of a drive where I live. The first dish, Banh Xeo, was perfection. It had all the veggies, the banh xeo had the exact ingredients you expect from the banh xeo. Tastes excellent, even after sitting in the car for an hour drive home. The Muc Nuong Sa Te/ Grilled cuttle fish with house special chili sauce is so perfectly cooked, the cuttle fish is soft and melts in your mouth. The Bun Mam is the best. It is not overwhelm by the mam. Everything in it balanced out and it is the only Bun Mam you want to eat in this state. Khay Cuon Lang Viet is not special enough, but it fills the tummy. Thit Ba Roi, Tom Kho Tieu/ Braised black pepper pork belly and shrimp in clay pot goes perfect with white rice. It is just pure Vietnamese cooking.

This will be my weekly drive for Vietnamese food for the weekend.

Food: ordered pad see ew and was very disappointed as I was craving for pad see ew and decided to try somewhere new. Unfortunately it was bland Some of the noodles were dry. The worst pad see ew I’ve eaten sad to say (Price $14) Spring rolls were good Price $7. Taro bubble tea with tapioca was my favorite price $6.“

“What a great spot! Spontaneously was in the area and went here on a whim. And I’m glad we did! The menu doesn’t fully capture everything they have but everything was so yummy. Honestly such comfort food. It’s hard for me to find a pho place with beef broth I like without having to add sauce to it but thjs place really delivered. The pho broth was so tasty and full of flavor. We also got some spring rolls and bun thịt nguội (vermicelli bowls) and the meat was so delicious. Usually those meat pieces can be hit or miss since they carry more fat but this was just perfect. Loved this little pho place and will definitely come back when we’re in the area again.“

The establishment is small, but extremely clean and organized.

My favorite was the Steak and Brisket Pho, The brisket was so tender it just melted in my mouth.

I am not exaggerating. Put this as a stop when you go thru Auburn. Now, I am not attesting to anything but their soup. My pallet isn't all that sophisticated, food is food most of the time but not Pho.

This place gets it right, each and every time.

“I am actually sorry I didn’t take a picture of the food. The Lo Mein special with shrimp, smoked pork, and spiced chicken was spot on. Really decent sized shrimp hot off the grill, generous portions of pork and chicken. So much lo mein in the container I had to go back to my car prior to the show we were seeing. The line to see Iron Maiden had to wait. We put away our feast in the car before heading to the show. No way I can finish it. $13.99“

“Last time I came here I have a bad review due to a rude employee. They won me back. There's 3 pho restaurants in puyallup. It's pho you didn't want to serve us because they wanted to close early and was really rude about it, their food was basic. We used to go to hello pho but they didn't listen to us and was rude, plus they rushed us out the door cause they wanted to go early. So now it's back to pho Tai.
