“Relaxed place. Go to take your time having a long lunch and taking in the atmosphere. BEAUTIFUL landscaping and eating areas (though very few tables downstairs). Great selection of beer on tap at this quaint island's only restaurant. Food was good, but not great. The fries were undercooked? Soft, limp, kinda chewy.”

“I was part of a group of 7 people at 1030am on a Saturday. Parking is unfortunately not ideal..The wait for a large table in the smaller sized dining room was reasonable, especially since the weather was not outdoor seating worthy. It was really busy. Once seated, water and drink orders were immediate. After we ordered food it came out fast and everyone got their food at the same time, it was all fresh and the right temperature and nothing was missing. Absolutely glorious service. I had the DKC Bisq-wich. WOW, so delicious. The fried potatoes were fine. I personally would like them a little crispy, but they had good flavor.”

“Arrived Friday morning for our 11:30am reservation and were seated soon after our arrival. Interior is clean and we were seated near the gas fireplace which was nice on a cold rainy day in March. Service was friendly and our server did a very good job anticipating our needs before asking such as refills on my Coke Zero – yes, they serve Coke Zero here!Wild Seafood Sampler served with three different sauces was good but quite pricey and in retrospect, we would have both been just as satisfied if we had just placed one order for the Wild Hand-cut Calamari and split it.The Wild Seafood Linguine Alfredo was served hot and was very rich and quite tasty; however, I was quite surprised to find it topped with wilted basil leaves that were obviously not fresh. The Wild Alaskan Halibut with mushroom risotto was also tasty; however, again we should have just ordered one of these Lunch Entrees and would have been quite satisfied.With tip, our $151 lunch for two with just one beer and a coke zero was quite pricey but both the service and food were very good. If we feel like having a very nice but spendy lunch, we will return.”

“Walking into this establishment was like entering a portal into a cozy little cafe and it was really peaceful. The service was excellent and the staff was super sweet. I got the shoyu shrimp ramen and it was excellent. Will definitely return. Thanks to the staff!”

“Some of the best cider in WA. No food but amazing on tap cider. Try the dark cherry mixed with vanilla bean. It is amazing. If you ate there in the fall the Chai cider is incredible.”

“I've been searching for a good seared salmon nigiri in the area but haven't had any luck. Most of the sushi places we visit don't even offer it on their menu. However, this spot has the perfect seared salmon nigiri. I'll definitely be returning here for more.”

“We had a date night here and were absolutely impressed. The Beecher’s grilled cheese and butternut squash soup was a stand out. Both of our pasta entrees were phenomenal as well. The star of the show, though, was our dessert, which was a deconstructed PB&J. I don’t think I’ve ever had something that had such a wide variety of complementary textures. It was amazing and flavorful.”

“The custom wrap on the sides of this food truck make it easy to spot. The classic and the mushroom burgers were both excellent and prepared to order. The meat is high quality, and the shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes and grilled onions were all very fresh. The bun was fresh and it held together well. Prices are high, but so is the quality. I'll skip the fries on my next visit - the burger was plenty. Christian, the proprietor, explained that his kids came up with the name Turger based on the plush toy turtle they brought home from the Puyallup Fair. He keeps Turger the Turtle in the truck with him. Easy parking at his end of the convenience store lot, but no seating on site.”

“An exceptional location in Gig Harbo right at the water's edge. We had a delightful evening watching the boating activity, the tasty food and each other's company. It is an elevated tavern food menu; we were bummed to have missed out on the happy hour menu which would have required us to order one of everything! (for reference, if fried pickles are on the menu, I am compelled to order. Fried pickles AND musubi?? AMAZING)The Cubano sandwich was excellent and included pulled pork smoked on site - best Cubano I've had west of Florida!Sorry for no pictures - we were really hungry - was it real without photos? If not, such a tasty dream.”

It being our first visit, the owner kindly suggested some options, sharing his favorites. Opting for the German Hoagie, we deferred to his topping preferences.Though initially planning to eat on the go, one bite of the German Hoagie convinced us otherwise. The amalgamation of flavors – meats, toppings, bread – demanded a moment to relish. “Ever since I moved away from home I craved that warm comfort Vietnamese food gave me. This is both affordable and comforting. Very flavorful and filling. The beef pho is my favorite and the caramelized salmon banh mi is to die for. Highly recommend! Will be coming back often!!”
