“I love Fare Market! The food is unbelievably flavorful and creative, a real star item for me is the peanut sauce! I would honestly put that stuff on everything. It’s rich, savory, perfectly balanced, and completely addictive. The grilled cheese is next-level comfort food. Their smoky kimchi pimiento grilled cheese is easily one of the best grilled cheese I’ve ever had…crispy, melty, tangy, and packed with flavor in every bite. And the pork belly honey garlic baos are absolutely incredible. The pork belly is so succulent and tender it melts in your mouth, and the fluffy bao with the sweet-savory sauces takes it over the top. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, and the little market section makes the whole experience even cooler. The cocktails are awesome - and bonus on Thirsty Thursdays when they’re $5 off!“

“Went here late after a wine tasting. Got it to go. Service was quick and easy. We ordered the cashew chicken, broccoli beef, and pot stickers. All was very tasty. Serving sizes were a good amount. Perfect for what we needed, which was good food a bit later at night. Would absolutely go again!“

And some perfect delicately crisp fries. \nThis place is our favorite local hangout. Good food, really nice staff. A great summer patio in front and good bar in back. The dining room is spacious, cozy, and bright. The staff friendly and accommodating, and the super BLT will knock your socks off. \nYou can tell if the kitchen is clean by the state of the bathroom; this place is absolutely immaculate, right down to the corners of the floor. \nClean, delicious food, lovely staff and ambiance. “Whidbey Island Distillery is a must-stop! The staff are so friendly and make you feel right at home. The tasting was relaxed and fun — their raspberry liqueur was my favorite. Beautiful spot, great people, delicious liquors and a nice whiskey. We bought several bottles. Will definitely be back!“

“Langley Kitchen was recommended by Second Street Salon staff when I mentioned grabbing some lunch after my appointment. I had the Frittata and Mac-n-cheese. The crust & veggies of the frittata were firm, not soggy, providing a pleasant depth to the overall smoothness. The flavors contrasted gently, making each bite so wonderful that the frittata was gone too fast. The mac-n-cheese was the perfect change of pace; penne pasta and sharp white cheese are a decadent combo that will make any day better. The servers were pleasant & efficient. I will be back soon to try more .“

“I returned to the island today, and stopped by just on my way to the ferry. This is my second time coming here. And Spoiled Dog Winery is magnificent, and the owners are even better! With a combination of great hospitality, views/atmosphere and amazing tasting wine, I will always be a customer of theirs. I strongly recommend going by, you will not regret it! The Pinot noir and Carmanere is top tier!“

“Eating here, especially when it’s not crowded, is always a lovely experience. We were a little disappointed today, as we arrived at 3pm (they close at 4pm) and the kitchen was already closed, so only bakery items were available. I understand that the staff are eager to be done with their day, but when I worked for a retail outfit that was known for its exemplary customer service, we were taught not to begin cleanup until all the customers had left the store and the doors were locked. Why? Because when you’re open, you’re supposed to be making the customers feel comfortable and welcome, not rushed or awkward. If the Cafe is going to stop serving warm food at a certain time, I wish they would post this. I did not remove stars, as everyone was kind and courteous (other than the cleaning bit, but that had started before we arrived), the food we did get was delicious (their baked goods and handcrafted drinks are great) and the atmosphere in the afternoon is calm and lovely.“

For a pub is a bit spendy, but if you find yourself in Langley, on Whidbey Island, and hankering for a really good beer, etc., you should definitely stop in at the Taproom!“

“Islanders who finally made it in to this fabulous restaurant! Had an amazing meal. Husband enjoyed short ribs and I had the catfish prepared with cumin which was creative and very tasty! Excellent wine and the chocolate cake paired with the Madera was excellent. Atmosphere is chic cozy almost lounge like with a great water view. We will definitely be back! Cheers!!“

“I genuinely love Sprinklz so much. Not only does it have the perfect small-town vibe, but the ice cream is great. I've never had any problems with the workers, they've always been super kind and eager to help. It can run on the more expensive side, but literally everything else in Langley does too. The customer service makes up for the cost anyway.“
