“Went here with my parents for a quick bite before going to the lighthouse. Very quaint and cozy diner feel that you would expect for a small shore town. Got there after breakfast ended (8-11:30) but had their Rueben sandwiches. Made with pastrami which hit the spot! Would definitely go back and would recommend if you're in the Hansville area.“

“I had a friend come in from Mich and we celebrated his birthday at Orchard Kitchen. He said this experience was the most memorable thus far. The service and server were top notch. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants an exceptional dining experience.“

“We had our son’s rehearsal dinner here and the service was excellent! Drinks and appetizers in the garden and dinner inside. It was a wonderful event and everyone had a great time. Many said they would return at some time for dinner. We planned this out of state and Lynn answered all of are questions quickly. We could not have had this type of personalized service in a typical restaurant.“

“Super packed on a Sunday - first hint that it’s pretty good. Bartender was trying to keep up but we had to wait a bit. Hummus plate comes with pita, veggies - opted for their homemade ranch and it was delicious. Pub burgers were also tasty - be sure to dip it in the ranch!“

“Eating here, especially when it’s not crowded, is always a lovely experience. We were a little disappointed today, as we arrived at 3pm (they close at 4pm) and the kitchen was already closed, so only bakery items were available. I understand that the staff are eager to be done with their day, but when I worked for a retail outfit that was known for its exemplary customer service, we were taught not to begin cleanup until all the customers had left the store and the doors were locked. Why? Because when you’re open, you’re supposed to be making the customers feel comfortable and welcome, not rushed or awkward. If the Cafe is going to stop serving warm food at a certain time, I wish they would post this. I did not remove stars, as everyone was kind and courteous (other than the cleaning bit, but that had started before we arrived), the food we did get was delicious (their baked goods and handcrafted drinks are great) and the atmosphere in the afternoon is calm and lovely.“

I thought the value was outstanding, too: dined by myself and had two glasses of (amazing!) happy hour house red and white wines for $6 each, and three-course farm-to-table dinner for $49. “We had some snacks this week with a group of friends. Delicious homemade cobbler served with ice cream. Good coffee. And some perfect delicately crisp fries. \nThis place is our favorite local hangout. Good food, really nice staff. A great summer patio in front and good bar in back. The dining room is spacious, cozy, and bright. The staff friendly and accommodating, and the super BLT will knock your socks off. \nYou can tell if the kitchen is clean by the state of the bathroom; this place is absolutely immaculate, right down to the corners of the floor. \nClean, delicious food, lovely staff and ambiance. What could be better?“
