“AMAZING! MUY BIEN! Best margaritas in town. And never before have I enjoyed such phenomenal cocktails showcasing the diversity of tequila. Mike, the bar manager, constantly blows me away with his ingenuitive creations and crafts. And if Mikes not there? A dedicated, kind, and knowledgable staff can recreate it all and offer such a joyful time with their humor and conversation.

Now for the food.... I dont think I know of a place with a better taco in King Co. Their salsa's make me want to cry with joy, and sometimes from spicy pain (this is a good thing). And for those who dont want tacos, just order one of the many other items on the menu and you'll see why so many have made El 42 a regular haunt.

I recommend the El Jefe Burger with the peanut salsa - life changing.“

“Celiac and Gluten sensitive people, here's a gem of a restaurant! Very cozy and friendly atmosphere, staff are all very friendly and helpful. LOTS of gluten free options for all courses. As someone who is highly gluten sensitive/borderline Celiac, I have not had any negative experiences here (having had 3-course meals.) So far I have enjoyed brunch and a dining experience and every item has been delicious! Looking forward to many more visits to come!“

“I have only been here two times as I moved to the area right before the government stole the freedom of Americans to move about freely... that being said, this visit - IN PERSON - was excellent! Matt, the bartender answered several questions and made a couple suggestions. I went with one of them (Carnitas and Scratch Margarita) and was pleasantly impressed with both! The crowd was fun, the staff was doing an excellent job (having been in the industry for 24 years myself) taking care of the business and caring for the clients. Thank you and I WILL be back again!“

“The atmosphere and service are great. The food itself is good but could be slightly adjusted.

We ordered a tonkatsu and gyudon.

The tonkatsu was cooked well but lacked a bit of sauce. Portion size is appropriate, and overall flavor was delicious.

The gyudon was a bit tough. The beef was a little bit thicker than standard and was a bit overcooked. The rice was a little dry, but we did come in late in the evening, so that's not a major surprise.

Overall, it's a good experience, and we'll try coming back, but a bit earlier in the day.“

“Our friends suggested meeting up at The Thirsty Hop, and though a hop shop with sushi seemed like a strange mix, it turned out to be a great combination! As you walk in, the cozy vibe is immediately inviting, especially on a cold, rainy day with an inviting fireplace to sit next to. They even have games to play! The beer selection was decent with plenty of choices, and the sushi was surprisingly delicious! We ordered quite a bit, with the Hawaiian tuna being a standout favorite—we liked it so much, we ordered it twice. We also tried a variety of other dishes, including wings, gyoza, and rolls, and everything was excellent. The staff were friendly and had a great sense of humor, adding to the enjoyable atmosphere. As we left, the place was getting busy. We wish them the best of luck and hope they continue to stay busy!“

“Lunch at Mox Bellevue today—and what a surprise. I wasn’t there to game, just catching up with friends passing through. But the space? Total standout. Art Deco vibes, cozy booths, and a game store that feels more like a boutique hotel lounge. I had the Golden Curry & Tofu—Japanese-style curry over rice with potatoes, carrots, tofu, and pickled vegetables. Warm, flavorful, and exactly what I was in the mood for. My friends ordered the Sausage & Pepper Rotini and left just as happy. The only curveball? No mocktails listed on the menu. When I asked, our server looked a little unsure but offered to make a virgin Momotaro with ginger, peach, mint, lemon, and ginger beer. It was fantastic—definitely worth ordering again. Still, a mocktail section on the menu wouldn’t hurt. After lunch I wandered through the shop and ended up picking out a couple of games for our next game night. Couldn’t resist. All in all, a great lunch, great space, and a solid reminder to check out places that mix things up. Overall fun spot. So happy we found this place. Would happily return. “Very nice hotel. Great breakfast, nice pool area. Large lobby at check in with places to sit while you wait. Restaurant had good food if you don't want to go out looking for a place to eat. Nice outdoor patio area. Safe parking garage on site.“

“The taco salad is amazing... it comes with (sour cream & cheese) but I removed the sour cream & cheese and got ranch instead. It was really good, the chicken in the taco salad is never over cooked but obviously you can choose your own meat.“

“My three kids took me here on my birthday and it was really awesome the people were really great they gave me a complimentary ice cream sundae with a candle lit in it and it really meant a lot to have that so I really appreciate it although they didn't sing Happy Birthday to me my kids did which was perfect I had the bacon bacon burger and I split it with my oldest And let me tell you when that is the most yummy as burger I've ever had And it's really big too“
