“Great little shop with tasty noodles and other dishes. I highly recommend the Nine Way Noodles if you enjoy mala flavor (sichuan peppercorn). The dumplings and wontons in oil were also solid. Service was great and prices were cheap. If I had to identify one weakness, I'd say the noodles were oilier than I would have preferred, making the meal feel very heavy. However, it was all flavorful so I still give them 5 stars.“
“Let's talk about Frying Fish, the Chinese eatery nestled in the mall area alongside Safeway and a cluster of other spots. Finding a spot to park is a breeze, and once inside, you'll find yourself in a cozy space adorned with traditional Chinese decor. Despite its prime location, scoring a table is usually a cinch, which is a pleasant surprise. Now, onto the main event--their signature Sichuan frying fish. It's got a bit of a greasy kick, but boy, is it flavorful. The portion sizes are nothing to scoff at, ensuring you'll leave satisfied. With five spice levels on offer, I tend to stick to a solid 4, but if your taste buds are feeling adventurous, they'll happily mix it up for you. When it comes to sides, the eggplant with basil or pea vine in garlic are standouts. The eggplant brings the heat, so proceed with caution if spice isn't your thing. But trust me, it's worth it. And the combination of basil and eggplant? Absolutely divine. While the pea vine might set you back a bit more, its unique flavor and texture make it a worthwhile indulgence. For those looking for an alternative to frying fish, the tea smoked duck is worth a try.Just a heads up--the dishes don't come with rice, so be sure to order some on the side or prepare it yourself at home. All in all, Frying Fish offers a unique twist on Chinese cuisine that's sure to leave a lasting impression. If you're in the mood for a culinary adventure, don't hesitate to give them a visit.“
“Very cool interior with the neon lights. The food was very flavorful with good spice. We had the pickled pepper beef with Cilantro, the shredded pork with garlic, the pickled garlic cucumber salad, lamb fried rice, and beef noodles. They all had very unique tastes and the chicken was our favorite. I would come here again.“
“Today is my 60 years birthday and my kids insist celebrating it at DAN GUI Sichuan Cuisine as they visited it many times and spoke very highly of it. Glad I listened to them and am truly impressed, not only the delicious food but also the owner & his team of good staff. They surprised me and made my birthday the most memorable one. Thank you very much! HD“
“This restaurant is huge with multiple rooms, but is understaffed. They tried to squeeze way too many tables with a table even almost right in the doorway. It's freezing at that table whenever anyone opens the front door. I think we only got our waters refilled once if at all, but we probably could have gotten more if we tried. It also took a while to get the check. We basically had one dish with each type of protein - free range chicken soup with cordyceps flower, steamed flounder with tofu, shredded pork with dry bean curd, and stir fried filet mignon, but also ordered the vegetable medley and "eggplants in hot garlic sauce".The chicken soup feels too overpriced, especially with the server spilling a bunch of it when pouring into the bowls. The shredded pork with dry bean curd and the eggplants in garlic sauce were both my favorite dishes. Their menu is huge, so there's going to be something for everyone. It seems like this restaurant is good for spicy dishes, even though we didn't have any.Parking: Tight parking spots“
“Flavors are different and authentic, not your run of the mill Chinese restaurant! Ambience is nice, has modern decor and very reasonable pricing. Would be helpful to have more pictures available - the dishes are definitely worth a go if you enjoy spicy food once you figure out what to order, cheers!“
“Everything you want in an authentic Chinese / Sichuan place. Huge menu, food is top tier, and you can control the spice level to your liking. Came here with a large group and ordered a lot of food - so much flavor and use of real Sichuan peppercorns. Will definitely visit again!“
“Groupon has a deal for a deluxe karaoke room up to 50 people but this isn't real. Their rooms are really up to 15 max. It was a bit stressful when I learned about this especially when I had planned an event for 40 people. However, the manager on site, Carl, was very accommodating and his staff gave us a great service to make up for the mishap. We still had to pay additional $36 for cleaning fee which really should have been included in the Groupon. All the staff were friendly and patient though. The food was just okay and the karaoke machine/audio was great.“
“Delicious food. We had eggplant tofu with basil, combo fried rice and hot and sour soup. The Coca Cola was ice cold and refreshing. Everything was hot. Service was quick and very friendly. The food was definitely worth the money and the experience. Authentic. Fresh. Quiet and comfortable atmosphere. We will return soon!“
“Ordered Tofu with bean sauce, vegetable fried rice and stir fry beans. Food tastes really good and flavorful. You can ask for hot sauce if you like food spicy.Ambience I would rate 3/5. Food 5/5. Price 5/5.Worth having a good dinner. The last video would say it all.Would definitely visit again.“
