He has rotating specials everyday (you can see on his Facebook or text his number to ask) plus menu items like gumbo, catfish and chicken fingers. I personally love his special of fried crawfish also his ribs are amazing! Be sure to ask for the jumbo spicy if that’s your thing. “I have been eating at Jacks since it was new to Seattle. To be honest I didn’t like it but would go for family get together and work lunches. When they came to Tacoma we decided to give it a try. Not sure how or why but it’s 100% better. I actually ask to go there now. The meat is always tender and juicy. The portions are great. I always get the mac n cheese and add brisket and the smoked jalapeño sauce and it’s so good! My only complaint is about the atmosphere. The customer service is great. However the last time we were in there was a lady at the bar on her phone just loudly blabbing about her business. I wish the staff would have said something but I also understand not saying something to avoid confrontation. Won’t stop us from coming back. I think Jacks was the first time I actually gave my husband an answer when he asked what I wanted for dinner.

“Wow. Just wow. This place is great. Great vibe. Great owners. Delicious food and a great selection of cocktails. Plus, of course, happy hour from 2-5. I had never even heard of this place until some friends introduced me and I was just blown away by the whole chill scene. Will definitely go back. The Happy Hour chicken nachos, sliders and Blackberry Smash cocktail made it a great afternoon.“

“Terry is great and all the smoked meats were Heavenly. The smoked Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese is so freaking good. I barely talked the whole time I ate because I kept wanting to fill my mouth with food. The wings fell right off the bone.“

“Came here for dinner with my husband. It was pretty packed but we were told the wait time was 25 mins max. Ordered our food after a military group, & waited. After an hour, the military group had already gotten their food, eaten it, and left. The lobby was filled and then emptied out. I went to the cashier & asked what's taking so long & they looked confused. And then said "oh, your order is coming up." We come here often and there's usually a few ladies we recognize but this was a new group. Even with a kitchen full of chefs, I seen plates of food sitting waiting to be given and the cashier was just standing there. I also ordered a half & half mix, half Loco moco half katsu curry with the gravy & curry on the side and they put the curry on the katsu. Didn't want to take it back because no one wants to wait another hour to get their food. We'll probably go to another L&L or wait until our regular cashiers are in.“

We had a blast, the food was really good and the drinks were good. Watching the line dancing was awesome my only negative comment was that a lot of the songs that DJ were playing weren't country a lot of them were hip hop which kind of caught us off-guard. Other than that, we absolutely loved the vibe and the atmosphere it was such a fun place we will definitely be back.“
