“Food truck outside of the Lewis PX. Walked past it many times, always smells delicious. Finally decided to try it today. I am not super familiar with this type of cuisine, but after looking at some of the pictures on Yelp, I decided to try the Combo Kebab plate. The food took a while to come out. The portions sizes were good for a food truck. I do see that they have online ordering, I may try that to lessen my wait outside since the weather isn't always as nice as it was today. The food was good. A break from the greasy fast foods in the PX food court. The meats were well seasoned and the salad was lightly dressed and fresh. The rice was good, could have used a little more flavor. The flat bread was good as well.I would definitely return.“
“Love the lamb gyros. It's usually one of the first meals that I plan when returning from deployment. Their truck has fast service, always takes great care of me when they make a mistake, (not often) and adding the feta makes my meal complete! I would add a picture but the gyro gets handed to me and I'm digging in because I just cannot wait and all thoughts of slowing down for a picture are gone from my mind!“
“Look no further, this is the truck you have been searching for. Deep flavor, hint of smoke, very balanced spices and seasonings. Even the sauces that come with the food are amazing. Definitely saving whatever sauce is left to drizzle on later!“
“The custom wrap on the sides of this food truck make it easy to spot. The classic and the mushroom burgers were both excellent and prepared to order. The meat is high quality, and the shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes and grilled onions were all very fresh. The bun was fresh and it held together well. Prices are high, but so is the quality. I'll skip the fries on my next visit - the burger was plenty. Christian, the proprietor, explained that his kids came up with the name Turger based on the plush toy turtle they brought home from the Puyallup Fair. He keeps Turger the Turtle in the truck with him. Easy parking at his end of the convenience store lot, but no seating on site.“
“We’re from Arizona and needed some good tacos. Took a chance on this truck, and it is legit! Our family of 4 was totally full with one pollo plate and 2 taco plates (10 street tacos total). Good food, very friendly service—give them a try!“
“Had an awesome lunch here while my daughter was playing in her volleyball tournament nearby. We ordered three different kinds of tacos (leia, pork, and chorizo) - not only were they all super delish, but the fresh house made tortillas and the extra charred veggies on the side made for an outstanding lunch. They also threw in two tamales for us to try just because. There's not a great seating area especially on a rainy day, but they packed everything up and it was easy to transport. Friendly and delicious, we will definitely head back here next time we're in the area!“
“This place is amazing! Whenever I bring coffee drinks to friends from here, they are always complimentary. The baristas are top notch friendly. The lovingly tended garden offers a special sense of place when you go through the line on that side during growing season. Highly recommended. You will need to bring cash if you want to tip. (And you will want to tip! ?)“
“Rented an ice cream truck for my sons first birthday. It was so fun and nostalgic to have for our family and friends. We got the most basic package and they had a lot of variety. The ice cream man was very friendly too. He pulled up and told us in a worried tone that we didn't order enough ice cream for our apartment complex (we held it at our apartment pool). We told him it's okay we just have a few friends and we already accounted for if random people were to come up and get an ice cream. So he said "okay, I won't turn on the music so I don't attract more people" and I thought that was so thoughtful of him! We ended up having extras, which he packed up for us to take home. I wanna order an ice cream truck for every event now! And it was pretty affordable too!“
“Carne asada burrito, one of the best I've had, grown up n lived in east WA most my life where everyone thinks the Mexican food is superior to the west side, this place proves that's not the case, no chewy peices of asada in the whole burrito, tender n pretty large peices of asada with a touch of pink in the center, I was really impressed.“
“Came across this place on Friday evening after doom scrolling for some late night grub. The restaurant is clean and I immediately felt at home with the smell of comfort food. I was greeted first thing when I walked in the door even with a line ahead of me. Of course I had the hot catfish dinner with fries. My food was freshly prepared and hot! The portion size, and taste is on point! This place will be my regular and reliable spot when I have a taste for down home southern comfort grub.“
“We stopped in the parking lot to get tacos from Tony's Tacos next door. We saw On A Roll while walking back to our truck. We couldn't believe we hadn't noticed this place before. They have a cute gazebo outside of the food truck with a large table -it looks very inviting and is a great little space for small groups to eat their orders. Because we had a bag of tacos in our hands, we couldn't really order full meals, but really wanted to order something to try. We decided on the fried apple rolls, which came with a side of sweetened coconut milk for dipping, and an order of the fresh spring rolls. The spring rolls come with a choice of either peanut sauce or hoisin sauce -I opted for hoisin. Both my fiancé and I LOVE the spring rolls -these are huge and made with super fresh ingredients. We could probably eat them daily and not get tired of them. My fiancé loved the fried apple rolls as well. It wasn't my favorite, but I'm also super picky about sweets/deserts so don't hold my not being into it a reflection of the food. As I said, my fiancé loved them. The owner was a super nice, friendly guy. He apparently runs the food truck with his wife and daughter. We didn't want to appear rude walking up to the truck with food from another place, but he didn't seem to mind at all and seemed happy to discuss the menu options with us. Great customer service. Also, when you order food, you're given an alert system, like at a restaurant. It's a nice touch and we really appreciated it since it was super cold out and this allowed us to wait in the truck with our dogs and warm up while we wait. Overall, we had a great experience and definitely plan on going back. I want to try their vermicelli noodles, curry, and beef sticks. Highly recommend!“
“I got myself two tacos and they were delicious. The sauce was flavorful and the beef was tender. The staff are friendly and I was served very fast before I had to catch the bus. It was worth the 6 dollars.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu that seemed comparable to the rest of the menu.Wheelchair accessibility: You can most certainly use a wheelchair to access the truck. If you cannot hear eachother, I am sure they would not mind helping you order. They are very kind.“
“The food was absolutely amazing! The serving sizes are generous and the food was seasoned really well. I ordered the tacos and the meat was very tender and saucy and the toppings were fresh. My significant other ordered the tostadas and they were packed high with toppings. The only downsides are that the location is cash only and that food runs out early (so definitely try to get there early! I got there at 7:30 and the location was out of rice and beans)“
“Their tacos are delish!!! $11.99 for the meal plate with 3 tacos, beans and rice, add $1 for beef. Options are pork, chicken, beef etc. Spicy sauce on the side. Green sauce mild spicy. Red sauce muy caliente spicy. Served with 1 lime. $3.50 or so for a la carte taco. No sitting. We sat at the back of our truck and enjoy watching the cars pass by and people fueling their vehicles at the gas station. 3 star for atmosphere because they are parked beside a convenience store with patched sidings and it looks sketchy surroundings but the food truck itself looks clean.“
“This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in Tacoma hands down. Really good beans and rice, and the ground beef enchiladas (which they call steak) are delicious. They do take Apple Pay at the window, and they charge 75 cents per card / Apple Pay usage.“
“The spicy shrimp was absolute ?. It came with so many extra goodies on the side to mix in. Guacamole, sour cream, carrots, bell pepper, onion, jalapeños, and more. There was a friendly atmosphere with the cook having his daughter with him. We live nearby and we will be back.“
“Stopped by to get some Tacos, I had Chorizo and Lengua they were delicious, really good, they did take a while to make them but that’s not a huge problem the food was really good, really recommend it! Besides the long wait service was excellent.“
“Don't listen to any of the negative comments this taco truck is hands down one of the best, my burrito was made with perfection and tons of flavor, my wife's carnitas taco plate was packed with flavor and the meat was well seasoned and fresh, I honestly have zero complaints about my food and service, if you want quality food at a good price give this place a try.“
“The enchiladas Verde with Pollo(chicken)was delicious. It comes with a generous portion of rice and bean. I had placed my order to go. Also I was shocked to see the patio had been removed and the eating area is now in the parking lot, covered of course. The total was 16.88 with tax. When I added the Pollo was. 75cents.Verde was 14.00.togo-15cents. Service fee 40 cents. Plus the 1.58 tax. So not bad I guess from a food truck. ?“
“Found this little taco truck/trailer by accident. I saw they had Birria tacos and decided to try them out. The. Real. Deal. Holyfield! Tender meat, crispy yet delicate tortilla, so much cheese and perfect consume for dipping was absolutely brilliant. Service was friendly and I appreciated the buzzer when my order was done. Will definitely come back. There’s a reason to come to Fife!“
“First time eating here and got the Sisig. Was amazing, just the right amount of spice. Been looking forward to coming here since I started watching the YouTube channel. If you are on JBLM definitely eat here. Side note they are just as friendly in person as they are in their videos.“
