“I travel a lot and post reviews of restaurants across the USA. I rarely do a sandwich shop, let alone in my hometown.

We ordered on a rainy Wednesday night using their easy mobile order website. We actually placed the order from the McDonald's parking lot as McDs app was down again and I ain't going back.

I arrived quickly and the team was still making our two sandwiches.

I looked around and found the location to be very clean, everywhere. Windows, door mats, tables, tile, kitchen, beverage machine... impressive. I was the only customer there and talked with Brandon. He told me my order wasn't done yet but gave me my drink cup.

I remarked how clean the store was and chatted with team - they couldn't be a nicer crew. Kudos to the owner, a great team of Brandon, Jay, and Emily.

We had a Little John #4 and a Billy Club. They added chips as a welcome as a new customer for no cost. Fresh soft bread, cold fresh ingredients all wrapped perfectly. I planned to eat half of my sandwich... I ended up eating the whole thing. YUM!

I'm impressed with the location, the team, the prices were good value for these high quality sandwiches - what a nice surprise. This is my go-to sandwich place from now on!

“This location has been under new management for a few months. All our my orders are correctly made and made quickly.
I have a large family so I usually type my order out and hand it over vs ordering 6 individual sandwiches verbally.
Today I did that but instead of waiting for my sandwiches I’m the store I decided to head over to the Safeway to get gas while I waited for my sandwiches. The employee ran out to clarify my order. They really went so above and beyond.
Food is fresh and restaurant is clean❤️“

“Really glad I stumbled into this place during Seattle restaurant week. Everything we had was incredibly high quality and at a more than reasonable price for huge portions. The owner was also incredibly friendly and made sure to make our first meal here special!“

“There are places that claim to make good sandwiches. Valhalla makes great sandwiches. I have had two competitors sandwiches this week and I was so disappointed. Valhalla puts out a product that’s swings way above its price point. They put “gourmet” in gourmet sandwiches.“

“Waited patiently as this shop reworked the old Lyon's Den coffee house here in Bothell, and when I found they were open I went and had them make me a sandwich. And then another. And then a third, and now I'm on a fourth (the joker dip) as I write this review. Because they're just that good. I don't go there daily (I don't want to tire of them!), but what with them being across the street from the post office where my mail goes, it's not only an easy stop, it's a winner as far as the food. Food is quite tasty, staff are wonderful and friendly. This isn't fancy, interior is mostly a no-frills vibe, but you will not regret getting a sandwich from these guys. For any New Yorkers reading this or similarly inclined to this end, if you want your Durkee turkey you gotta buy your own Durkee sauce for home; sorry, I don't make the rules, and I don't know of any sandwich shop in Seattle that carries the sauce.“

“If you're looking for a warm, friendly neighborhood Cafe, look no farther. Everyone who entered was greeted with a kind smile, some by name, other clients promising to return soon. This is clearly a favorite corner coffee and lunch hangout for many. Great place to meet with friends or work for a an hour or two.“

“Best thing about this place is the service. Three young ladies all working cleaning making sandwiches and they are super nice and as a bonus the food is really well done. I had the Thai chicken sandwich a small and they stuff it and it’s very good. My wife had the kind sandwich with turkey. The bread is really good too. I ah e to say I’ve never eaten at one but it’s the best of the sandwich places for sure. And that shop in I district has an excellent staff.“

“Some of the best tomato soup I’ve had to start with, vegan and deliciously chunky. The Rajun Cajun sandwich lived up to the hype for the most part, but be aware of a small spot with few indoor seats and a 45-ish minute wait between the line and getting food in a Saturday lunch time.“

“I really enjoy getting my breakfast here—it’s become a go-to for me. The tuna sandwich is always a solid choice: fresh, satisfying, and super tasty. But what really stands out is their kimbap. It’s not always available, so if you see it, definitely try it. It’s hands down better than anything I’ve had in Seattle, Hmart, or even Trader Joe’s. Recently I’ve started trying out the bagels too. I love all the foods here. 🤩

Vegetarian options: My friend ordered a 12 inch all veggie sub, and does this regularly. I am not vegetarian, so I had a turkey sub, which was also delicious (I did get the "all the veggies" option, however, because veggies are yummy!).“

Been hunting for real Kolaches in the area for ages - this place hits the spot!

The dough and sausage are just right and I'm excited to go back. My small disappointment is I want sliced pickled jalepenos and maybe a sprinkle of cheese on top of my cheddar jalapeño sausage inside the kolache, but this is just personal preference as they are truly delicious and I'll happily take them as is.

The coffee is rock solid, nothing spectacular roast wise but well prepared. The cookie butter latte was lovely but did need an extra shot to balance it out at 16 oz ( I always think coffee stands should aim for 1 shot per 5-6 oz for flavored lattes, people almost always prefer the taste and think it's the coffee quality but it's just a stronger coffee flavor to balance the sweetness. Mercury coffee does this and it's a brilliant hack)

Had a bagel and it was also great - they have real bagels from NYC flown in, yay! Do think it needs a longer toast to maximize the enjoyment of that perfect NYC texture.

Ultimately, these little complaints are just to hopefully get this place to the next level because I NEED them to do well and stick around, hahaha.

She was so efficient, made my sandwich really well and with care, and asked all the usual questions in a clear voice and useful order. I know it seems like there's not much difference between subway ordering, but she really stood out as doing a fantastic job. She also complimented my sweater, which was really nice because I've had a rough week and it was just such a pleasant thing to hear late night when I was tired and just needed some food. “The sandwich was good. Mine took a really long time. I saw people coming in and ordering and getting there's before me even though they ordered after me. The staff was very nice but did. Not cut or wrap the sandwich the way I asked, and I heard the order taker say it out loud. Still, very good sandwich, if really expensive.“

“Great location and the staff is invested on making your sandwich fast. Stopped in during Wednesday lunch rush thinking it was going to be 20min to get my food with the long line, but it was around 7min. Also the older gentleman was joking around with customers a little while making it "Mike's way" which I enjoyed.“

“I love that it is clean, so I don't feel I need to worry extra about getting food poisoning. I have some disabilities and they are always very accommodating. The staff have all been very friendly. I generally get the same sandwich, and theirs are the best I have had. I'd imagine that's because they are clean and seem as sanitary as this kind of place can be. I will definitely be going back. “I love this place!! Great food, Great service, and Great atmosphere! :) Daily specials with a vast variety of menu items and catering options. Plus, gluten free options as well (which I truly appreciate).
