“I often wonder what happened to JJ’s customer service. This location really appeared sterile and there wasn’t much personality.
It used to be that JJ was kinda quirky and all American kinda like Red Robin. The Cap Hill location used to be the spot and I loved getting my pickle on the side.
My sandwhich was huge which is not a bad thing. Staff seemed bored and not enthused to be there.
I hope that there is something that may motivate them to step up a little more.“

“This location has been under new management for a few months. All our my orders are correctly made and made quickly.
I have a large family so I usually type my order out and hand it over vs ordering 6 individual sandwiches verbally.
Today I did that but instead of waiting for my sandwiches I’m the store I decided to head over to the Safeway to get gas while I waited for my sandwiches. The employee ran out to clarify my order. They really went so above and beyond.
Food is fresh and restaurant is clean❤️“

“So much delicious food here. Best turkey pot pie soup, apple crisp, and lasagna. Sandwiches are a mainstay. Recommend ordering ahead a little to avoid a wait, as everything is made to order.“

“Waited patiently as this shop reworked the old Lyon's Den coffee house here in Bothell, and when I found they were open I went and had them make me a sandwich. And then another. And then a third, and now I'm on a fourth (the joker dip) as I write this review. Because they're just that good. I don't go there daily (I don't want to tire of them!), but what with them being across the street from the post office where my mail goes, it's not only an easy stop, it's a winner as far as the food. Food is quite tasty, staff are wonderful and friendly. This isn't fancy, interior is mostly a no-frills vibe, but you will not regret getting a sandwich from these guys. For any New Yorkers reading this or similarly inclined to this end, if you want your Durkee turkey you gotta buy your own Durkee sauce for home; sorry, I don't make the rules, and I don't know of any sandwich shop in Seattle that carries the sauce.“

“There are places that claim to make good sandwiches. Valhalla makes great sandwiches. I have had two competitors sandwiches this week and I was so disappointed. Valhalla puts out a product that’s swings way above its price point. They put “gourmet” in gourmet sandwiches.“

“Great food and even better people. A woman was short on money and was wondering what she could get for $5.50. The staff was happy to make a deal and get her some food. I offered to pay for a full meal for her, but the owner/chef decided to give her a meal on the house. Very wholesome and friendly restaurant. If you’re looking for a quick and affordable sub this a go to.“

“Finally, came by to try out the sandwich at Fortuna Bollega and it wasn't that busy as I've seen it in the past.

I ordered the Bambino with some arrugla and garlic balsamic, coke and chips and after tip, taxes and such I ran a $18.50 sandwich up to be $39.80 reminding me of going to the Metropolitan Grill.

Fortuna Bollega has an indoor counter and then what looks like a garage out back is some picnic tables. I hung out in the picnic area as the indoor area was packed.

I know Seattle is getting pricey, but I'm going to be more careful with my order next time as around $30 seems the minimum for lunch now round town. The sandwich is quite large and filling and I ended up taking 1/2 of it home with me.“

“This is one of my favorite places and Seattle. Easily. If you like sandwiches, then you should definitely come here. They compete with Fortuna and - in my opinion - exceed Fortuna (largely because of portion; you just get more bang for your buck here). We’ve had almost every sandwich available from Hushy’s. The Turkey is a clear winner (its combo of salty, somewhat smokey and tanginess lets it stand out). Our next favorite is a tie between the mortadella and the (fried) fish sandwich. You really can’t go wrong with any of their sandwiches. Two things I’d point out:

1) The Japanese beef curry sandwich is too salty
2) The sandwiches are expensive (but one sandwich can easily feed two)

Oh and the atmosphere is dope. Just take a look for yourself. This place deserves 5 stars.“

“I had their Japanese chicken curry tonight and it was delicious!! The seasoning was perfectly balanced and definitely tastes homemade. There was a good amount of chicken, so not one of those curries which leaves you looking for the rest of the protein half way through. This place is in a cute food hall so you can find an table and eat or take your food home. Overall a great experience and I’m looking forward to trying more of their menu.“

“I've been coming here for awhile and Cheba is always great! If you're craving a warm and toasty, filling, flavorful sandwich this is your spot! I usually go for the White Widow with some bbq chips; definitely perfect comfort food after a long day at work. Tyler, the manager, is really friendly and does a great job making it all happen! “Came here for an impromptu date night expecting some decent Italian sandwiches and cocktails, and walked away with one of the best meals we’ve ever eaten. Every item was amazing, and came out shockingly fast. The drinks were delicious, and everything was well priced. “My family and I are from Texas and this brunch was a little taste of home. We tried the Miss Texas (the full size version is almost enough for 2 people), the Texas Heat (really good smoked meat and large portion on a toasted bagel), avocado toast (a little smaller portion but loaded with quality toppings), Parmesan biscuit, and banana bread. All of the food was really good and the coffee was great too. The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive (just like back in Texas). The only downside is that there’s not a ton of room to dine in but you can always grab it to-go and head to the picnic tables at a local park. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Perfect experience in every way tonight thanks to my Sandwich Artist, Jason! Jason met me with friendliness and a smile so off to a great start. I went in at 7:30 pm for dinner on Thursday to get the turkey Meal of the Day and upgraded it to a foot long for $3 more for a work lunch tomorrow. I mentioned that to him and when he was wrapping my sandwich, then he asked if I would like both halves wrapped separately, which was so thoughtful! So, I got 2 meals for $9.99+ tax, awesome! Service was fast, accurate, thoughtful, and the food was yummy, plus the shop was perfectly clean. Also, there are two reserved parking spots right in front of this Silver Lake Subway. 5* all the way!“

“I needed a solid sandwich to fuel a long hike and this place came through big time! I grabbed the Italian sub and it was loaded with fresh ingredients and tons of meat -- super flavorful and held up perfectly all the way to the top of the mountain. Nothing better than a great sandwich with a view (highly recommend tryng this!)
