“We fell in love with the food and staff at the West Seattle commissary (and miss them very much) but just recently visited their wonderful new storefront space on Greenwood in Shoreline! We're big fans of the Khao Man tofu and the Khao Man Gai (Hainan simmered chicken, like I had growing up in Hong Kong), and of course the Thai tea, and mango sticky rice. Patty just introduced us to the corn fritters which were amazing. We discovered it's the best place to detour to avoid I-5 traffic coming home from Bellingham. Don't miss this place for a delicious lunch or dinner!!“

“This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Seattle. We’ve been here several times and each time the food is so so good. Our favorites: hat yai fried chicken, khao yum salad (refreshing and cozy!), woon sen cha-om, and the mushroom curry. The cocktails are also great. The service is really great as well. I had it served with mixed vegetables that were perfectly wok'd, still crunchy, not soggy, and with great flavor. Food is cooked to order, fresh, and very flavorful. “I have come here a handful of times with my partner and I love it! I don't think I have ever had a bad dish here. I try to order something different each time but there is so much to choose from! And so far my favorite is the basil stir fry and the eggplant basil stir fry. The portions are generous for the price. I like to order 2 or 3 dishes and then take the leftovers. They last me a few days afterward! The staff is very friendly and I enjoy my conversations with them. All in all, a great place. If I lived closer, I'd probably come here several times a week.“

“This may be my favorite Thai restaurant in Seattle, and I’ve probably tried ~20+! The food is sooo flavorful and delicious. The service is wonderful too. I would highly recommend the eggplant stir fry and doing family style so you can try more dishes.

The portions are a good size (though I normally don’t have leftovers)! Sometimes there are a lot of takeout orders so it can take a bit longer, but not too bad! And definitely worth the extra few mins wait :)

“We were so busy running around that we didn’t even realize it was almost 10 PM and suddenly, almost every restaurant was already closed. Then Nua popped up and we saw they were open until 1 AM(on Saturday) Such a surprise!

We headed over right away and ordered peek kai tod, khao soi, pla tod, and tom zaap and wow, every single dish was incredible. So delicious, full of flavor, and truly authentic Thai taste.

We ended our night with the special delicious Thai dessert roti gluay and it was the perfect sweet finish

So many unique dishes (and I’d guess authentic but can’t speak from personal experience), and the staff are so nice — they pack everything in containers and tape them closed, and then staple the bags closed so they’re safe and secure for takeout. Call-in orders for pickup only! Same owners run Pestle Rock next door, and Jhanjay Vegetarian Thai Cuisine Wallingford. Photos of my favorites: KROB KEM: plantain chips! “This quaint little restaurant is a gem. Much like finding a pearl in an oyster. Family run and you can actually tell from the pride put in to every food dish presentation served to you. The noodle dishes are mouth watering with the vegetables marinating in the sauce perfectly.
Being in the infantry in the Army, I lived outside for long periods of time and whenever I got a hot meal in the field, I always literally licked my plate clean. While eating my meal at Amorn, I actually considered licking my plate in front on my wife. That probably wouldn't have gone over too well. Wink! Wink!!

“A beautiful restaurant offering authentic Thai food with friendly service. We ordered classic dishes like a papaya salad, Tom yum kun, boat noodles, fried tilapia and more. Everything had robust flavors and so satisfying. The location is a plus for people watching and shopping before or after a meal. Sunday Fremont Market is right around the corner. We went for Sunday lunch and made a fun afternoon outing of it.“

But what keeps things exciting is that they’re always introducing new dishes that bring me right back to home in Thailand. The flavors are authentic, comforting, and full of depth.
