“Led here by a Seattle Times article that didn’t quite do justice to just how yummy the creations really are. The tuna tostada was sold out, so I had the bay scallop ceviche which was divine. My daughter had some other concoction of forgotten name, but excellent flavors. We topped it off with a pumpkin paleta dessert. Go here, it’s fantastic.“

“My boyfriend and I went to El Moose for his birthday last weekend. This was our first time there, and we were sooo impressed and happy with all the service we got!! All the staff was very sweet and friendly!! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS and real authentic Mexican food!! Definitely made our experience worth it and we will definitely be back again!! A big thank you to the gentleman who served us as well!! He even gave my boyfriend a free mezcal shot for his birthday!! 💓 We definitely recommend checking El Moose out to anyone who is in the area, and to our friends!!“

“I’ve been going here since I was little and never once have I had a bad experience with the staff, the food, allergy issues, seating or anything else you could dream of. I genuinely challenge you to find a bad item on the menu

It gets a little loud sometimes when it’s packed but if you ask you can always be seated in the much quieter back or even outside in the summer.
This is genuinely my favorite restaurant ever and I though I might as well give a review now that I’m moving away lol“

“I came in right as they opened today and was welcomed right away. I ordered a Raspberry Jalisco Mule and Tortilla Soup with shredded chicken. I have to say the soup was one of the best tortilla soups I have had in a long time. you were even able to choose your flavors and spice level because a plate was brought out with tortillas, limes, onions, cilantro, chili crisp, avocado, jalapeno, and I don't remember the other seasoning but it was phenomenal. I can't wait to try more of the menu and continue to support local! Diablo's is definitely a place that should be on everyone's list to at least try and then frequent.“

“This place has a special place in my heart. I've enjoyed the restaurant a few times on my own but me and my friend went in on the dia de los muertos parade event and it just felt *right*. Chips and queso is so good. The tacos are always good. Gotta say, the potato taco is my favorite. They also serve two soups and who doesn't love a warm cup of soup? It is a little pricey but it's worth the hype.“

“Best carne asada in Seattle, possibly anywhere. They have the timing down perfectly for cooking the steak so it's done on the outside, but a hint of pink in the middle. With thin cuts like carne asada it's easy to over cook, but I've never seen them do it in the 15 years I've been going here. It's rarely crowded even as the trendy restaurants across the street come and go, drawing the people to the neighborhood. You can usually walk right up and take a seat at the bar.“

“Have sat down for dinner and ordered carry out and both times were great. Reasonable prices and sizeable portions and delicious Mexican food for a city not known for authentic Mexican. It’s family run and I met the daughter working the front and her
Mother, who made the menu. The homemade corn tortillas were bomb, and I recommend getting the tomatillo bean dip… it’s insane. 10/10 would recommend and will be regulars“

“This Mexican restaurant is one of those rare jewels you occasionally discover. The staff are truly wonderful people. Hailey and Miriam were fun, attentive, very pleasant and nice - just a joy to be around. The margaritas and food were delicious and generously served. Great place!“

“I’ve been here many times since it’s my closest local Mexican restaurant, and I always return and keep coming back. Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel welcome. The chips and salsa are always warm, fresh, and crispy. The al pastor burrito and carne asada burrito are really tasty, large, and very filling, full of great flavor. Great spot!“

Appetizer plates were not even brought to us. No one checked on how the food was or drink. Poor service. Unfortunately, in this day and time this type of service is accepted and tolerated.“

“AMAZING Mexican food with huge portions. I take friends and family who come visit from out of town and they frequently request to come back. It’s expensive, but I always come home with leftovers for the next day, so it’s well worth the price. The servers are so friendly, it makes you feel like you’re an old friend coming back.“

“Okay, you definitely have to know what you’re getting into here - I mean, it’s a Taco Del Mar. But for a fast-food establishment, this is probably about as nice as you can get. It’s not technically as fancy as something like a Chipotle, but it’s got more soul than any of those corporate slop bowl places could ever dream of having, and it feels like it’s maintained in a much more loving manner. “This place can get busy but it has plenty of options for seating. Unfortunately we sat right next to the door, feeling the cold air whoosh in and out each time someone came and went. It was the worst table but have come here at a table inside and it was a much more pleasant and liked our experience better.

Food was great, huge portions, and incredibly satiating. I wouldn’t recommend the carne asada in the burrito since it had really small pieces. Casual. Decent service. And a nice walk to and from if you’re in the neighborhood because parking can be really difficult. Plus, you’ll need it after the meal.“

“Legitimate amazing authentic mexican food and very reasonable priced with a good menu selection. My wife and I had them cater our wedding on Bainbridge Island and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! Everyone was raving about how good the food was. You can customize the menu for your event and they will do they're best to accommodate. Miguel and his crew are super friendly as well.“
