“My companion is severely celiac (autoimmune disorder to wheat/gluten). The staff made an effort to point out what was "safe" on the menu, but despite a note on the menu about gluten cross contamination from their fryer, two dishes arrived with fried garnish. I suggest the chef/management/staff should better educate each other.“

My only complaint, and it's a serious one, is that the airconditioning blowers in our seating area were very strong and aimed directly at my plate. I'm not exaggerating when I say my food was cold in less than 30 seconds. Staff said they get that complaint frequently for that seating area but they are unable to turn them off or down. I asked for a manager, but he was unavailable for the evening.“

“This used to be a excellent beer bar serving amazing beer with mediocre food. Then it changed owners and they started serving solid sushi and still serving amazing beer. They changed chefs earlier this year and they are one of the best sushi restaurants who happens to serve amazing beer. They do sell out of specialty dishes (e g., Ankimo: monkfish liver pate) which is how it should be for delicasies.“

I loved that the menu wasn't just the same old same old and included dishes I haven't seen before, the smokey eggplant/tofu, corn salad, and mushroom fritters were particularly delicious but I want to try everything vegan they offer.“

The Chilean Sea Bass, Prawns St. Helens, Grilled Kuri Squash, and Paella featured vibrant, magnetic flavors, complemented by Cruo. Oysters on the half shell were the freshest I've ever had. Chevalier Sauvignon Blanc was perfect—balancing dryness, crispness, and a lively edge. The staff was charming and attentive, and the dishes were both creative and served hot. I couldn't have imagined a better dining experience. The coffee and desserts were also superb. Celebrating retirement with friends—50 years of Nursing, including DAc, MSN, Level 1 Trauma, Critical Care, ER, Management & Leadership, and Nursing Education—marking an incredible journey's end.
