“I have visited this restaurant with my friends on Friday evening. Nice hospitality and service, should give 5 start for it. Good vegetable options were available, we tried the Paneer Hariyali(grilled and not fried) and it was very tasty; also other vegetable food was great and tasty. I also tried their Goat Biryani and found to be ok compared to other restaurant, definitely suggest to improve on Biryani taste.“

“We celebrated my daughter's birthday with dinner at this restaurant, and it was our first time trying it out. We were thoroughly impressed! Everything we ordered was top-notch, but the standout dish was the Mughlai Chicken - it's hands down the best we've had in Seattle among all the Indian restaurants we've tried. The Tandoori Sizzler was also delicious, packed with flavor and utterly yummy. Highly recommend!“

“The place was very busy, this may cause a variety of unwanted situations some of which are caused by customers themselves. We had to wait a little over 20 minutes which is not unusual for the day and time especially when the food is reported to be very good. While we waited we checked the menu and ordered our food which came to us nice and hot and without much waiting. We found the service to be very good and the food was excellent. We had the chicken tikka massala and the mutton as our main plates and also had the fried kale "fritters" (I forgot the name) which was very tasty. Everything was good and we can say this is a great place for Indian food. Will return.“

“The dosa came out hot, golden, and perfectly crisp, with a buttery, spiced potato filling that was rich and comforting. The chutneys—creamy coconut, spicy tomato, and cooling mint—were fresh and flavorful. This wasn’t just a good dosa—it was next level. Babai Dosa nails it with bold, authentic flavors that make it easily one of the best Indian spots I’ve ever tried.“

“Good Pakistani authentic taste. We had Halwa Puri nasha and everything was excellent. Our waitress was very professional. I didn’t ask her name and i thou that she was from Bangladesh but turn out to be a Mexican did great job on explaining with correct accent ( that shows good training on your wait staff).“

“Ate their paneer biryani and it was the worst in the area. I'm surprised because you would think with so many Indian restaurants around, this place should've checked competition before starting it.“

“A great little Indian style restaurant in Pioneer Square. Fun decor and a hip vibe. Was a little worried when they didn't ask for a spice level of our entrees, but they were made to our satisfaction. Nice serving sizes and a decent amount of options on the menu. I can be a little picky about my Indian food, but this one passed my test.“

“We thought we would try this great Indian restaurant in North East Seattle and and glad we did-it's really super good! We ordered curried goat, lamb vindaloo extra spicy- raita, stuffed kulcha, basmati and brown rice and I have two glasses of Indian wine, one rose and one Cabernet. I especially love the rosé. The chef came out to talk to us afterward and told us that the goat is fresh from a local butcher. And all of his food are traditional Indian. He was a most friendly and nice person.“

“I do not eat chole bhature in the USA because from East coast to West Coast, I never found any restaurant that knows how to make them.
Chatpata started making them with the promise that they will taste authentic.
I was not disappointed, their chhole are authentic Delhi style giving the flavor to the bhatura.
Must try.“

“The food was delicious and the staff were great. It didn't come up when I googled restaurants near our hotel but we passed it on the way to another and decided to eat there instead. So glad we did. We are on a road trip from England and the lady who served us gave my husband a dessert on the house and also recommended places to visit 😀“
“We have been to Mint and Martini twice. Both the time food was excellent!. We are vegetarian so found a good variety of veg options.
The Kashmiri Malai kofta was very tasty and so was the tandoori paneer.
Only issue is parking otherwise this place is one of the best we have had in Seattle.“

“We have been coming here for almost 20 years and this is probably the best tasting Cafe India has been in a long time. Though we usually grab takeout, we tried the lunch buffet for the first time today and it is awesome, great tasting food with around seven different entree selections on a weekday, around $20/person. 11-3. The butter chicken has a savory and nutty flavor that is so delicious. Busy, too, about 3/4 of the tables were full and more people coming in, a sign of a great restaurant. We will definitely be back for the buffet!“

“I tried this place on a whim, hoping to find a new spot on the Ave over the monotony of other choices of which I had grown tired. This place quickly became a regular stop for a quick meal whenever classes or studying ran way too late. Great options and awesome portions! The flavors used to be more vibrant and tasty before remodeling, but since then, there have been moments when the food is lacking. Nonetheless, it’s a good place to try“

“The paneer burger used to be mind blowing. I would have become vegetarian if I could eat it every single day. But they switched out the cheese to low quality American cheese which is not even real cheese by the way and I’m really disappointed with how it has affected the burger taste. Please bring back the original recipe! Serving quality food is worth it, it’s what keeps people coming back !!! Please please !!“

“Today was our first time visiting Seattle and we were craving some Indian food. Taste of Indian did NOT disappoint me. The Tikka masala and naan were phenomenal. The service was also amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere was also very relaxed and welcoming. I was given a complimentary refill of my reisling and they also give you a little slice of cheesecake at the end of your meal. Whether you are going for a date night or a family meal, this place is a perfect option. If we are ever visiting Seattle again, we will be returning to this spot!“

“We ordered some vegetarian dishes including palak paneer, veg biryani with some naan bread. The food was well cooked and was good taste as well. Not only the food but also the service, noise level were managed perfectly by them. I totally recommend everyone to visit once.“
“We love coming here as family (2 kids under 6) and always appreciate the staff being patient. Now to the food, it’s not the typical Indian restaurant but that’s where the magic is. You feel transported back to India’s good restaurants where you get delicious food. It may not be authentic but their take is delicious. It is definitely a must try.“

“Have eaten here for years and never taken the time to review but now's the time! Huge menu, food is very flavorful with generous portions (including the buffet), but perhaps most importantly the staff is always friendly, welcoming, and efficient (it's difficult to get to the bottom of your water glass as they are always returning to fill it up!) Suel is particularly friendly with a good sense of humor! We love Masala and give it our highest recommendation without hesitation!“

“Day trip to the westside, where we found this little gem in Redmond. By far, THE BEST Indian Pakistani food we have ever had. With every bite, we could taste how much care & love went into preparing their authentic ingredients. I could have ordered every item on their menu, but decided on lamb korma with pulao rice, chicken korma & samosa. It was plenty for us to share. We met both the owner & chef. They were so kind & grateful we visited. Absolutely magnificent! #FoodyMoody“

“Absolutely excellent food - they opened in June 2025 and we came here on their second day. The non-veg thali (photo attached) was excellent! As were the drinks - I had the barfi margarita which had barfi-like flavoring and was excellent. Great service as well. For kids - our 4-year-old had the tandoori-flavored mac & cheese and loved it. The non-veg thali also came with padadam and a gulabjamun - he ate all of both.“
