It has a great mix of traditional sushi items, as well as unique offerings that we can't find elsewhere. Find ice cream that's both gluten-free and dairy-free is enough of a challenge, that I had given up on ever having an ice cream "cone" again. This was a real treat! I tasted several flavors and they were all delicious. The staff was also very helpful in looking up other ingredients to consider for any allergies. Instead of getting a full scoop, I decided to split one between two seasonal flavors: Carrot Cake and For the Love of Lemon. Both were wonderful! My spouse ordered a full scoop of Jamocha Chaga Fudge. He was amazed and kept asking, "How did they make it so creamy?" The plant-based ice cream truly is "Plant Magic!" We will be back!“

“Kenny was our server and he was awesome. The food was fantastic and we got so much for the price (the biscuits and gravy are to die for). Kenny seemed to be the only server at the time (around 12:45-1:00pm) and was working all the tables calmly and efficiently. He was personable when we talked and was extremely polite.I am a server myself, so I tend to be pretty judgy about the service I get when I’m out, but I was genuinely impressed and pleased with my experience. “We came for dinner tonight and we were greeted with the welcoming staff and their smiles. That set the stage for the evening. We started off with virgin mojito. It was refreshing and tasty. Then we ordered the mojito platter for appetizer which included the yucca fries, tostones and fried plantains. For entrees we had camarones Carmen Miranda, vaca frita and pescado mojito. Every single dish we tried were so perfectly seasoned, beautifully plated and delicious. You can tell that each dish is made with love. The flavors in each dish will remind you of a destination so far away, a culture represented in its food. We finished off our meal with the desserts, quesillo and tres leches. Both were delicious as well. I highly recommend this place. We will be back to try the rest of the dishes in their menu. This is a hidden gem. Luam, the owner is an amazing host, he’s the owner. He made sure that we had an unforgettable dining experience.“

It looks like fish and the texture is firm like fish, but when you see it irl you can tell it doesn't quite catch the light the same way, and the flavor is lacking the distinctive taste that salmon has, and the deep buttery flavor of tuna. However, the rolls we got were all very flavorful and well-prepared. I especially liked the crunchy salmon roll, I think is what it was. And the one we got with tempura "shrimp". The seaweed salad was delicious too. I would definitely like to come back.“

Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. (4) Early enough during the day, drink the Viet Ice Coffee. (5) Too bad they don’t have enough staff/hands to make the BANH CUON but they make up for it in many ways. Try everything on the menu. I’m not a relative. I don’t get money or fame for recommending Lotus Pond. I just know authentic good food when I see and eat it. Try it. The mushroom pasta was a little too salty for me, but I highly recommend the lasagna, which was light and airy and topped with a thin layer of tomato sauce. “Absolutely loved this place! From the ambiance to the staff and food! We ordered the steak which was cooked in front of us and it was delicious. We also had the cheeseburger and it was delicious as well. The fries were perfect, crisp and seasoned, with fresh grated cheese on top. The atmosphere especially made the dinner memorable.“
“Love me some speak-easy bars! What a lovely find! Despite being a Seattle native, I'm not familiar with what Seattle has to offer in terms of speak-easies. I have visited a number in Philadelphia as well as NY city. I suppose I simply doubted Seattle could live up to my east coast experiences. I'm happy to say Roquette proved me wrong! Firstly, true to the speak-easy persona, the entrance was questionable in identification. We couldn't tell if we were at the right place or if it was even open. When we recognized the entrance however, we easily entered and found ourselves in a very cool, throwback, swanky bar. It was relatively intimate and seating was readily available because we arrived around 5:30pm. Happy hour lasts until 7pm, which makes sense because that's prime dinner time rather than "drinking time." Unfortunately, our visit was a few weeks ago and I can't recall the exact drinks we ordered, but they were excellent cocktails that weren't OVERLY sweet like many bars do. There were generous pours of liquor, and fruit cocktails were made with fresh fruit. I only remembered to do this review because we are pending a second visit before the New Year and needed to send this place some love! Great find! Hopefully, it doesn't change with increasing popularity, as is often the case with some businesses.“

“I’ve dined at the U-Village Joey’s & truly enjoyed their curry bowl, & wine. Although the Bellevue Joey’s no longer had the curry bowl on their menu, they had so many gluten/dairy free options to choose from. We were greeted with a glass of complimentary champagne. This was special, as we were celebrating my birthday. I had the Mercado chicken salad, (loved the lime peanut dressing). My friends enjoyed the ahi burger & Szechwan chicken lettuce wraps. We all tried the Szechwan wraps & loved them! I will definitely order them next time. Our waitress Veronica was amazing! She was attentive to my dietary needs & made lots of alternative suggestions based on their menu. My friends surprised me with Joey’s flourless chocolate cake with fresh raspberries & raspberry sauce & powdered sugar. It was delicious. Their whipping cream they brought on the side for my friends looked very good. Their menu prices seemed reasonable & they validated our parking. I would definitely dine at Joey’s in Bellevue again. But the portion sizes are on the smaller side and the food itself isn't necessarily 'BAD' but it does lack that special punch of flavor. I have had a lb burger that come out with a soggy bottom bun. And a Salmon dish that had a pretty bland carb base in it. My partner was a little disappointed specifically with the pasta portion sizes , some of them can be just a handful of ravioli... Just be aware.“

I often take my fries, cheese, or dessert into the Ballroom to finish munching while dancing gets started.They just redid the seating and decor--now there are cute cozy loveseats, warm lighting on each table, etc. Super "Instagramable" if you're into that. Overall, the Tin Table is the perfect mix between cozy neighborhood restaurant/bar and slightly upscale vibes. “Ordered this on Uber Eats to have a quick bite at my hotel while in town. I was a little worried on how this would travel but was pleasantly surprised that it came hot and secure. I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) bowl with sweet garlic chicken and added an over easy egg and a side of Napa kimchi (not my favorite). The chicken was super tasty but wish there was a little bit more in the bowl. It also came with spicy pickles (amazing!) and a creamy sesame sauce (YUM), which went perfectly.“
