“Been going to Contos for over 20 years. last week was the first time I have ever been disappointed. Picked up dinner to take home and they changed their lettuce. Their salads were always fresh, crisp iceberg lettuce and last week had floppy romaine mixed in and it was super disappointing, ended up throwing half of the tossed salad out. Please go back to what you did for all these years, don't start changing things.”

“Had a pleasant experience coming here for the first time. I did try both the Katsu beef and chicken burger, and would advise the chicken burger for most. Even so, experience was good, staff was kind, their large portions are indeed very large so do take that into account. Would stop by again if I am in the area.”

“Food is pretty good and adaquate for what you are paying for. My ONLY gripe: Images show dipping sauce. The MENU even states dipping sauce included, (clams and fries) and it never is. They dont even ask if you want it, which I do.
1/4 lb burger is good and messy, so dont eat it in the car (or without a bib..lol)

“Our first visit to The Pines was exactly what we needed for a laid-back date night. The atmosphere is dark and inviting, easy to settle into and just enjoy the moment.

We were seated quickly, greeted with water, and served an unexpected touch: popcorn. Different, but it worked. It had a subtle sweet peppercorn flavor that made it surprisingly good and a nice change from the usual starters.

For food, we went with the brisket burger and the filet mignon. Both hit the mark. The burger was solid, and adding Serrano peppers (recommended by our waiter) was the right call, it gave it just enough kick without overpowering the flavor. The filet wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was still good and satisfying. I’d order it again without hesitation.

What really stood out was how easy the whole experience felt. No stress, no wait, just good food and time to reconnect with my wife, which is exactly what a date night should be.

Shoutout to our waiter Steven, friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.

“Yumiko Teriyaki is my go-to teriyaki spot in Lake Stevens. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and served fast — exactly what you want from a solid local spot. Portions are generous, sauces are on point, and everything tastes made with care. The owner is incredibly friendly and always makes you feel welcome, which keeps me coming back. Highly recommend.”

“Went to the lake Steven’s bake shop for the first time post-Jenny’s Cookies yesterday. Honestly, I’m in shock in the best way. There is something very refined and balanced about the cookies that has been enhanced. I loved Jenny’s, but the buttercream frosting from Wander is next level. It’s more buttery, and less chemically tasting (for lack of a better descriptor).

The textures of the smash cookies were incredible and more intact, and the brown buttery Rice Krispie was divine.

Unfortunately, I will be back more often than I should.

“We needed a quick breakfast before hiking the Heather Lake Trail, and Rusty’s did not disappoint! The chorizo burrito was super flavorful and the size was great as well. The huckleberry latte I ordered wasn’t super fruity, but the caramel latte was delicious. They offer a ton of flavors for their drinks as well (sugar free options too). The employee working was enthusiastic and attentive to all our needs. Fantastic experience overall!”

“Came here for an early birthday drink and to shoot pool without the crowds. Raye took such great care of us as did her kitchen staff prior to the bartender arriving as we "opened up the place" The new owner is attentive, funny and has definitely cleaned the place up! The burger was good and the street tacos a huge hit with my hubs. I really hope they bring back the Reuben, either way We will be back- thanks for the amazing service!”

“I went to Creekside house originally they didn’t even even acknowledge that I was in the restaurant, even set up my laptop and everything to do work. They still never brought me a menu went to Midori teriyaki fast friendly served me right away and the food is awesome.”

“I absolutely love this bar! Razzals in Lake Stevens was my go to for all the time fun, games, and especially the staff! I’ve moved away so I do not frequent it much, but I stopped in the other day and the atmosphere is still the same, the staff is a bit different as in “not the same people working there *it’s been over 7 years*” Still love this place nonetheless! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone that’s ready to hang out in a fun oriented atmosphere surrounded by good people and great times!”

I'm not sure why negative reviews are complaining about the number/amount of toppings?? You can literally ask for as much toppings as you like!

I used to go for Dominos $7.99 one topping special but MOD is better!
Went for the first time. Had double pepperoni, sausage, cheese and a normal amount of olives and mushrooms.

It was a thick pizza, but very delicious!!
Thought that for $11 was a great deal since almost ALL other pizza joints charge by the toppings, I thought this was a great concept change, I'll be back!!”
