“Omg ok- I NEVER write reviews, but Truth & Evangeline were amazing!! not only were they both super sweet, fast, and chill—but they went way above and beyond for me :’ ) they’re so kind, and they brightened my day today foreal!! If the manager is reading this: pretty please recognize them!🫶 Truth and Evangeline are the reason I’ll keep coming back!!!!! so fire and my drink was 10/10“
“I rarely come here and when I do I just get a black coffee, so I’m not expecting much. But, George, the store manager, is makes a great experience! He is so kind, thoughtful, and polite! If I am ever having a stressful day and I come here when George is here he finds a way to bring positivity. To me, George embodies the character of what a manger should have.“
“When I went to purchase my usual 18 oz bag of ground Starbucks French coffee at this Safeway at 1:35 pm on Saturday, 11/30, there were only bags of whole bean on the shelf. I paid for the beans and asked the Starbucks kiosk barista if she would kindly grind them for me. She adamantly refused! No matter how much I protested that there had never been a problem in the past at this kiosk, she would not consent. I regret not getting her name but this is the first time at ANY Starbucks that I did not get service with a smile. So I went to the Starbucks store across 196th street where they were more than happy to grind the beans for me.“
“This is by far the best Starbucks I have ever been to. It is now the only location I come to, even when it means driving out of my way. The staff here are consistently kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. Even when they are busy, they take the time to answer questions and make you feel valued. That alone makes this location worth the extra drive. No other Starbucks compares in terms of friendliness and genuine care for their customers.
While waiting for my drink, a barista named Kate made a point to engage in meaningful, intentional conversation with me and checked in on everyone who was waiting. Despite being clearly busy and juggling multiple orders, she still took the time to connect, acknowledge customers, and make us feel truly seen and valued. What may seem like a small gesture meant so much. In today’s world, it is rare to feel genuinely noticed as a customer, and Kate created that experience effortlessly. Her kindness and presence made my visit feel personal rather than transactional, and it left a lasting impression. She even brought orders out to customers dinning in as well as bringing waters to people who needed them. That level of thoughtful, sincere customer service is something we need more of, and it truly set this location apart for me. And on top of that, the drinks are always excellent.
I was honestly surprised by the negative reviews I saw before writing this one. They simply do not reflect the reality of this store. The team works incredibly hard to make every customer feel taken care of. Expecting drinks to be made in just a few minutes during busiest hours is unrealistic. You can clearly see that every barista behind the counter is constantly working and doing their very best to help each customer as quickly and efficiently as possible. People need to be realistic and appreciative of the effort being put in.
I would absolutely give this Starbucks a 10/10 and recommend it to anyone and everyone. They truly are the best. (For comparison, I stopped going to the Starbucks on 196th because of frequent mistakes and poor service—this location was always the one that made things right, which is why I now come here exclusively.)“
“This is a newly-remodeled Starbucks, serves Nitros, and is a very appealing--and cozy! - -place to relax, study, read, listen to music, etc. This is the busiest drive-thru I've ever seen and runs very efficiently. Lots of families living nearby, so be patient with the occasional huge order. ;) They also have 4 or 5 4-person tables outside, great when the weather's fine. Lots of stores nearby too, incl. a Sprouts, new Trader Joes, Albertons, pizza place, Qdoba, an LA Fitness, and more...great to grab a hot drink--or Frappuccino--while grocery shopping. Lastly, there's plenty of parking and easy access to both Hwy 99 and 196th St.“
“I didn’t visit this store for a while because of inconvenient in and out. Yesterday, I stopped by for a b-day drink. Ellen got my order and she is the best who I have ever seen at Starbucks stores. She is really nice, energetic and made people smile. She draw several flowers with ‘happy birthday’ on the drink cup. I had a lot of bad experiences with unhappy employees but she made me forget the experience.“
“I had the most unexpected morning today while driving home from the gym. One of my dogs fell onto my Starbucks cup and it exploded all over my car while I was on the highway. I was literally driving with the window down at 60 mph, iced espresso trickling out of the cup and my hand completely drenched.
I pulled off at the next exit, and what do I see?
A Starbucks — shining back at me like a little blessing.
Before I could even get out of my car, James, a Starbucks employee, met me at my door. He took my broken coffee, told me he’d remake it for free, and let me use their restroom so I could clean myself up. By the time I came back out, the Lynnwood team had already made my drink and helped me get back on the road.
It was the quickest, kindest, and most unexpectedly loving experience I’ve had in Washington. A bunch of strangers made me feel so cared for — it reminded me of home, especially during the holidays.
Thank you, James and the entire Lynnwood Starbucks team, for pouring love into your work and into a fellow stranger. I’ll never forget this experience. Starbucks, you’ve earned a customer for life. ❤️“

“I'm here almost every morning. The drive through staff is usually great. The inside staff is not usually as great but one time in particular I had to send my drink back twice and even the first time, the barista wasn't pleasant at all, not a "sorry" or a smile, just RBF and made it wrong again. My drinks get made wrong in the drive through a lot as well but I usually just drink it“
“The Starbucks inside the Target store is AWESOME. Unfortunately, I didn’t ask employees’ names, but they are very polite and customer service oriented, this was our first time there (7/11, AM shift) and was a very nice experience! It was so nice to get a cup with a personal message from employees! Great job!“
“Late night perusing at B&N and wanted a cozy drink and cookie. Our barista, Tori, was the most pleasant human being, so patient while we made up our minds (especially when we decided to add on cookies to our drink orders), and her friendly smile as she spoke could've soothed any mundane mood.We ordered a cappuccino, chai latte, a salted Carmel cookie, and an oatmeal raisin cookie. Both cookies were warmed up and our drinks were perfectly crafted. The cafe area was buzzin with students studying, book lovers reading their new purchases, and families enjoying treats. Even so, there were ample tables available to occupy. Not an intimate cafe space, very bright and almost cafeteria-ish.Despite the Starbucks logo attached to the cafe, they do not accept Starbucks gifts cards or payment via the Starbuck app. Still a great place to complete the bookstore experience with coffee and sweets!“
“I had an exceptionally great time at Starbucks Macys in Lynnwood Wa today. They're baristas are jolly, kind, cheerful and just all around outstanding!!! Just the cheerfulness i needed for the holidays. Food was great! And speedy service!!! 🥇🥇🥇🥇“
“The male barista today (wish I remembered his name) is by far the best, most fast and accurate barista ever. My son came in with and our orders even have a bit of twist on what we want. He got it first time, put it in and all came out perfect. He should be the manager and train others on this! Haha“
“I can't remember a Starbucks location where I wasn't satisfied but today at this location (between 10:30 & 11 am I can't remember the specific time on 2/6/'25) I'd say I had the best service I've ever had. My day started crappy (long story) and I was cold & wet from having had to walk in terrible snowy conditions! But the baristas (Im sorry I didn't pay attention to their name tags) were very compassionate listening to my sob story & being encouraging and between that & the note on my cup (see attached pic) intending to cheer me up made my day! Also the nice hot food & coffee I bought helped too!“
