An eagerness and willingness to help you understand the menu if you are unfamiliar makes a world of difference. If you've never been to Burgermaster before, it is a real drive-in burger place. You drive up, park, turn your lights off until you're ready to order, and then turn them on. “Hidden gem in a very unassuming building. Very small with few tables. Order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. We ordered the CBR burger, and the cheeseburger combo that came with garlic chili fries and 2 drinks. Side of regular fries and an Oreo shake. Food came out fairly quickly. We were the only customers in there. One other table was just leaving. Food was really good! The CBR was so nice and juicy and a thick piece of chicken too. The cheeseburgers I was not expecting that size. It was also really good and juicy but with all the juice and sauce the burger fell apart pretty quickly. Regular fries were nice and crunchy crispy fresh. The chili fries were even better. Even with all the sauce and toppings the fries didn't get soggy. And the shake! Soooo good. We live pretty far away from this location, but I would drive the 1+ drive it takes to eat here again. I thought that it was a one-off, so I waited a month due to being upset about the waste of money and visited again this month (Feb). I had the exact same issue, but it was even worse! I was absolutely disgusted. I couldn’t even get down the first bite of the burger. It was like someone smeared salt across the burger and the fries were coated with salt (no house seasoning). I of course tossed all of it in the trash and went out to eat some place else.I’m not sure what’s going on. I believe that either an employee is new and hasn’t been trained properly or someone is doing this on purpose. Maybe it's tip based. I do tip but it's not to the level of having a waiter. This is a fast food place not a sit down dining experience. There is no way in the world that anyone would salt their personal food to this level. I hope that someone investigates this before customers slowly start disappearing. The owners aren’t going to understand why customers aren't returning. I’m assuming that most people won’t speak up since it’s a fast-food burger place. I’m writing this to save the restaurant not hurt it.
