“We absolutely LOVE the Seattle Meowtropolitan!! My 8 year old and I have been visiting regularly for more than a year now and we‘ve bonded with all the amazing kitties! Everyone who works and volunteers here is so kind as well. The kitty-themed drinks and kitty macaroons are all delicious too! And the cat-inspired decorations—even in the restrooms—are wonderful! “Grocery plus Spritz Bar upstairs. Charcuterie and spritzers sit down area available upstairs, hidden quiet out of the way, especially for Pikes Place. They have lots of imported goods, and have gluten free pastas, sauces, and other grocery items as well. Glad to find they had some flavors of Torres I have not seen elsewhere. They have a busy sandwich deli upfront, but have not ventured there, not sure they have gf. Easy to find right on the 1st street facing the pike place sign.“

“I’ve been drinking mushroom coffee for about six months now. In the past two months I’ve switched to Wunderground. I started with the dark roast and also tried the medium I prefer the dark roasted. I also enjoy the Brain Wash super Boost. I add it to my coffee on my golf days. It helps with my mental attitude and energy levels.“

“This place is a gem! My friend and I stopped here to grab a bottle of wine, and ended up getting some cider and snacks. They have a great selection of natural wines from all over and reasonably priced. They also have a great selection of local ciders. The staff person working there was very friendly and helpful -- happy to provide suggestions and share knowledge. The food was also quite good. Highly recommend the gluten-free brownie!“

“I am suspect of one star reviews that simply say everything was so awful that they are not coming back. I've been coming here for years. I very much enjoy the drinks and occasional food that I purchase.

Have I ever had a breakfast sandwich that was warmed and yet had a cold spot? Yes, one time I have. Have I ever felt that service was better at times than others? Yes. Have I personally just enjoyed visiting with some baristas more than others, yes. Some baristas have been less than I would want in an employee if I was the owner and no surprise, they don't work here any longer. The current opener is wonderful so stop in.

One data point is an anomaly. Two data points is a line but you need many more to establish trend. I keep trending in the front door for a first of the day hot coffee multiple times a week before riding off to work.

Once I found RTR I stopped going to Kirkland and its many coffee shops for $5 cortados. I'll sip my cortado or cubano right with an occasional baked good here at an entirely reasonable price, thanks.“

They have this Padan or Pandan coffee…I chugged it the first time & was so wired I had to hit the park across the street. Coffee is spectacular.
No bad encounter with the staff all of my interactions have been filled with kindness & they are very observant which feels safe & appreciated, someone’s being strange? I’d trust they’re already on top of it.
Seems like it’s filled with locals which is also nice to see ppl called by name.
I will say, in the times I’ve been in the tables are…well used & with the amount of people working sending someone out to touch up the tables with a sanitizer wipe would be nice. To be fair it’s not like I see any of the staff just standing around, their hands seem full.
Anyway appreciate a very well solid local coffee shop. This is a gold mine.“
