“Update: this is an excellent spot for healthy food. Lots of options and their homemade sauces are not too heavy and taste great.Previous: They will sometimes close early and they already have difficult hours. Really difficult to plan to head to Mercer Island when you can't trust the schedule“
“Finally…! Best Cold Brew & Pour Over in Seattle!(Blossom: Ethiopia Guji & Prolog: Kenyan Kigari)Owners are warm, inviting, and respectful.Prefer a darker roast? Opt for an espresso w/ homemade cream.Delicious toast options. Highly recommend the Ricotta Tomato Toast. Quality healthy Avocado Toast.Seating fills up. A hotspot for college study sessions. Be prepared to wait or take to go.“
“This is a MUST-STOP-SHOP for visitors and locals alike at thePike Place Market! Delicious crumpets with a variety of toppingchoices. A great pick-me-up with their coffee or tea.Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices for vegges.Dietary restrictions: Lots of different choices for people with dietary restrictions.Parking: Parking is a little challenging, but not impossible.“
“I’ve been here twice and it’s been so great both times. Very happy how the staff sets boundaries for the cats and that they also have an area they can go to if they want alone time (the cats not the staff lol)The kitties are very well behaved and adorable, there’s lots of toys to play with and plenty of comfy places for them to be just piles of sleep.I was worried it would be weird with other people in the room but it was totally fine both times and everyone was really respectful. The second time I came was for a Taylor Swift listening party and it was awesome. I definitely recommend coming here for the cats and coming back because of the staff and vibes.“
“This was my first time here, and I was torn between the egg sandwich with mushrooms, the frittata, and the veggie toast. The person on register was very helpful and ultimately recommended the veggie toast, which was absolutely delicious.Whoever came up with that toast clearly takes pride in what they do and knows how to bring together flavors for maximum effect. It had an ideal balance of creaminess from the cashew butter, tanginess and earthiness from the fermented carrots and marinated beets, and freshness from the herbs and greens on top.“
“My favorite brunch place in Seattle. I absolutely LOVE their Dutch pancakes, they are perfect. My husband loves their classic breakfast plate and says it's simple but perfect. And we're both fiends for their special house made ketchup... so much so that I asked if I could have a side to take home.. haha. Also love their service, the waitresses are super warm and nice which elevated the experience. I would come here every week if I could.“
“3.5 Stars Trendy cafe with eclectic decor (fake plants, cartoons, selfie booth,Taylor Swift cardboard cutout (?) ). They did an incredible job on the branding (coolest logo ever)! The Banh Mih Dip ($15) was super tasty, thought it was priced a tad on the high side for the size. Unfortunately, that specific day I was also hoping it would be a healthier option than it was but ah well lol, gotta live. The description said it would have a slathering of pate (I love pate) but it really was more mayo heavy if anything (was the pate forgotten? hmm). It was delicious dipped in the broth (the soft crispy baguette soaks it up). Sort of reminded me of a cheesesteak. Really messy to eat. The brisket was on the fatty side, which I prefer - yum! BF got the chicken vermicelli bowl ($17) which he enjoyed. They are very busy, limited seating inside. Located in pioneer square. Order a the counter and the staff bring your order out with a smile :)“
“We are visiting from Chicago and noticed all the reviews so we had to try the sandwiches here. The reviews are NOT wrong. We had the turkey and havarti cheese sandwich with fig spread and the hot ham, egg and cheese. They were awesome!! The owner is so friendly! It’s a must eat here.“
“Omg! This is a cultural treasure! I randomly ran across this café while running errands downtown and was pleasantly surprised by its well manicured environment, extremely kind staff, and fantastically diverse food. Bison tacos??! Rabbit stew!?!? Give them your money asap. I want to see these on every corner instead of “
“⭐️⭐️⭐️Was aimlessly wandering SeaTac and stopped by to try a sample…the sweetest woman introduced me to my new favorite coffee. I was nervous about the taste after attempts to choke down dirt water (other mushroom coffee alternatives), these are SO GOOD! Very smooth. The night time tea is also delicious if you like chamomile ☕️“
“Hands down my favorite coffee in Seattle. The staff are incredibly kind & welcoming and the vibes are immaculate (great for studying!). The iced panela latte is the perfect latte (not too sweet, perfect milk-to-espresso ratio, always consistent). I take everyone here and they love it. Ily santo <3“
“What a gem!!! We stopped at Care Red for breakfast. I absolutely loved the welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and the artwork of artists displayed throughout the cafe. Healthy vegan options, delicious coffees and teas. No wonder that this cafe was buzzing with customers! Amazing!“
“Stopped in on a Saturday late morning - there was a line, but it moved fast and there were seats available. Enjoyed coffee and breakfast sandos and took some treats home. Everything was delicious, our sandwiches came up quickly & piping hot. No complaints whatsoever. Will definitely be back!“
“A cute cat-fe that serves handcrafted beverages and assists the Seattle Humane Society in helping find homes for cats! The baristas have always been friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The latte art is really cute! Many of the cats are up for adoption within the cafe. The cafe also has resident cats that you can visit. The cat area is expertly set up for cat stimulation, exercise, naps, and places for kitties to hide away if they feel the need. For so many cats in one space, they do a great job at keeping it clean and odor free. SeaMeow also has yoga classes that you can attend alongside the cats! Assist your local cafe and humane society and stop by Seattle Meowtropolitan today!“
“The breakfasts are very popular in this place and the truth is that it is worth visiting. What we ordered was very delicious. The portions are large and they have a variety of juices. It is very well located one block from the famous Pike Place Market. The prices are fair and the very comfortable place, very good attention, very recommendable ?“
“DeLaurenti has such a great selection of fine cheeses and spreads, as I went to them to get a birthday gift for my brother. Elyse is a Manager there, and she is wonderful! Friendly, knowledgeable, professional and helpful. I highly recommend Elyse and this company.“
“I’m so glad I found this place! You can taste the love in the food. I got here just as they opened so they were still setting up for the day but it fills up fast! Inside is mainly standing room but there are some tables outside where you can enjoy the food.“
“Absolutely loved the atmosphere here!! It was so peaceful to sit at the beautiful wood tables amongst beautiful plant specimens. The kombucha on tap was AMAZING, Lemongrass flavored, strongly recommend. The mocha had good espresso but it was too sweet for me. It kind of tasted like drinking chocolatey lucky charms. Those with a sweet tooth, enjoy!Dietary restrictions: Didn't really see a lot of GF options“
“Good prices and great food. I flew in from Chicago the other day and the first place we went to grab food right after the flight was here. I was hangry and this cured that so fast! I ate 3 tamales at the resturant and took a few to go. The tamales are very well portioned, eating 3 was a lot but was good for me. The cashier was super sweet and we enjoyed talking to him as we were ordering and during our meal. Authentic Mexican food with great vegan tamale options!! P.s. the menu I saw online didn't have all the vegan tamales listed, so if you're ordering through the phone make sure to ask about all the options.“
“People? Friendly and chill! Cleanliness? Spotless! Food and drink? Very very tasty. I got an oat milk mocha, and it was better than most mainline brands have to offer- this is coming from a former Starbucks addict. If I had to pick one or the other I highly recommend fable.“
“Great coffee, amazing and friendly staff. I got my first coffee in Seattle here over two years ago, and it is still my favorite coffee place :) the beans are also great. Bought some to take it as souvenirs for my family the last time I traveled and they all agreed they never tasted smoother coffee. Less Bitter Thank Your Ex definitely lives up to its name :)“
“I was lucky enough to have a friend bring me some almond croissants when he was visiting. I got pastries here years ago, and I had forgotten how large and flavorful they were. There's a nice crust on top and just the right amount of marzipan. Again, the croissants are huge. Definitely reheat them in the oven before consuming!“
“Always such a treat to visit Bake Shop :)It’s a beautifully designed shop, and I love that they serve Miro tea and have yummy vegan options. I don’t live quite nearby but try to make it over whenever I’m in the area because it’s just that good!I also love their beautiful reusable dishes. I really appreciate the commitment to sustainability!Dietary restrictions: Vegan options!“
“Extremely friendly service and absolutely delicious food. The waffles are fresh made and you can’t go wrong with a breakfast sandwich made out of two of them.Parking: Small lot for the shopping complex so you may have to resort to street parking.“
“I was feeling like a pile of trash today but the second I walked into this shop my mood shot up thanks to the atmosphere. The music, plants, and baristas made me feel very comfortable and welcome. I ordered their Natural Papua New Guinea espresso and it was a real citrus fruit bomb. They offer a lot of different retail roasts with a great variety of processes and some co-ferments which I LOVE. The beans are a bit on the pricey side ($23-$27 for 12oz) but the quality is 100% worth it. Overall, I highly recommend this shop if you need a welcoming space and love modern coffee trends.“
“This post deserves a SHARE and it’s public! I ventured out to Creamy Cone Cafe (a Black owned small business) for the first time today. The post about the grilled cheese on croissant bread with tomato soup got me. As soon as I walked in I wanted everything!!!! I started with ALL 12 of the flavors currently on hand, the grilled cheese w/soup, the peach cobbler à la mode and a brown sugar cookie that never made it home. My favorite flavors were Strawberry Shortcake, Banana Pudding, Mint Mud pie and Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake. None of the flavors were displeasing and ALL of them I would order again. I love that you can taste the individual ingredients in the ice cream it’s self. You can absolutely tell these flavors are made with real fruit!! There was a vegan flavor and a non-dairy flavor that was tasty, something for everyone!!! I will be back often. I did want to point out, just because parking isn’t the greatest doesn’t mean don’t stop in. When you walk through the door it feels like family! Also, they have gift certificates. A win win!!! I’ll be buying some to give to people so they can experience the greatness as well. The list of current flavors are in the photos.“
“This place was amazing, I popped in after dropping my dog at daycare and the service was amazing. They greeted me as soon as I opened the door and pointed me to the menu. They made my bagel sandwich to order which was amazing and they even asked if I liked hot things and added hot sauce to my bagel, delicious!! So affordable. I'll definitely be back:)“
“Parking: This place is fantastic! The food is very good and really good quality and well prepared, the guys who serve you are so friendly and willing to help. All this without mentioning that it is very cheap. the best deal you can make.Excellent food, abundant and cheap.“
“This place is everything! The owners are some of the sweetest people around - they take such pride in what they do and you can taste it in the dishes. Definitely some of the best Ethiopian food in town! The portions are very generous, the service is fantastic, and on top of that, they also have great selection of snacks and goods from East Africa and the middle east that are hard to find! The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming - I've had productive work days in here, coffee chats, business meetings. It's just a wonderful spot can't recommend it enough.Vegetarian options: Loved the falafel plate!!“
“Jason is an awesome person. He goes at lengths to address areas wrt bike assessment, damages estimates and charges reasonably. Never an instance of they trying to rip you off. My bike was recently damaged at a residential property and they offered to do a thorough evaluation while also making sure repair estimates are reasonable and in line with what insurance expects and the right format. Their sheet also listed a contact to an experienced lawyer in case I have follow up questions or legal requirements wrt bike law of Washington. No back and forth, just plain old professionalism. Super responsive via texts and emails tooNot to mention the awesome location of this store.Keep it up“
“This is not the first time I have been here. We do visit once in a while for brunch. It’s a different concept! Their chicken boat and their veggie boat is delicious. The chicken/veggie filling is served over a boat made of bread and has cheese and egg. It’s definitely a one time try!“
“Best Breakfast I have ever eaten!!!!! Was flying out of the airport next day and we wanted something other than Denny,s (sorry not sorry) The wait staff and small restaurant atmosphere was perfect!! I had the Baked egg in Pesto sauce so darn good, potatoes seasoned but not overly with a touch of crispness, the bacon was cooked to perfection (the whole piece not just part of it) my friend had the Mac and cheese for breakfast, which I have never thought of, excellent as well. Sure wish I lived there I would be going back for lunch and dinner!! Thanks Chef and everyone here!“
“we stumbled upon this filipino cafe while walking around chinatown. the reviews looked good so we gave it a shot.first, such cute decor and nice lighting. we were greeted warmly by the cashier and i knew this would immediately be great. sadly they ran out of decaf, but i'm willing to compromise for getting the dangerously delicious ube latte.no idea how they got such a stunning color, but damn it was addicting to look at and to drink.“
“Don't have a single bad thing to say about the place. Prices are immaculate for the amount of food you receive. Staff is so kind every time and the food tastes like they love you. BEST breakfast I've had since moving from Texas. Blueberry milkshake? ScrumdiblyumptiousBonus: Green salsa is addictive and breakfast sausage patties are my favorite underrated item“
“Great veggie food at the airport! I tried their breakfast burrito, which was fresh and nutritious. Their chai was flavourful, but a bit watery and could be better. I realized they had seating and a dine-in menu, not more expensive than their to-go cafe menu, a little too late.“
“Stopped for an Americano, and they had samples of a boysenberry Mazurka. Delicious! Had to buy one. The next day, I couldn't help but stop again for a repeat of both. If I lived in the area, it would be dangerous as I'd eventually have to try one of everything.2 different customers brought their well-behaved dogs who were given fresh looking treats. Great neighborhood vibe. People were socializing, and I didn't feel like the outsider I was.“
“Great local spot for coffee and breakfast. I was in the mood for a decaf coffee and they were able to make almost any option on the board decaf. They also have plenty of vegan options. I went with a decaf latte with oat milk and marshmallow along with a really good bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was stuffed and came toasted panini style which added a great crisp. The atmosphere is relaxing. Definitely worth stopping in this Cafe!“
“This review is long overdue! A perfect place to work for the afternoon, grab a coffee, healthy lunch or drinks after work. I love that the curated menu switches up occasionally with the seasons. Bustling, creative vibes, but always a place to sit and cozy up either for a quick touch down or a longer "WFH" type moment- it's set up really well for remote working with power and laptop tables sprinkled throughout. The music is also always amazing, and above all, the people here are great. Super friendly and down to earth service. I'm not surprised to see five star reviews, it's truly a hidden gem in an area of town that really needed something like this!“
“The best thing that can happen in life is when you unexpectedly bumped into a French bakery and the food was SO good! I was immediately cheered up by the delicate and exquisite cakes offered by La Parisienne during a cold and cloudy day in Seattle. It is definitely not cheap ($9.75 for the Tarte au Chocolat) but I felt so worth it because it took so much skills and dedication to make such great desserts! Everyone working there were super friendly and actually some of them are French. We sat by the window and it was a very relaxing and tasty experience.“
“What a jewel of a place. Angel’s desserts are delicious creations worthy of the best French pastry shops, prepared with an enthusiasm for the work that I have rarely seen anywhere. Latte was excellent, almond croissant was the best in town so far. If you care about great (not just good) pastries, a real sense of place, and want to support a local business, this is the one. Can’t wait to take delivery of our bûche de Noël.“
“I was so excited to try this place out and it didn't disappoint as a brunch spot. We came on that one Saturday when it was super nice out, and opted to sit outside. The wait staff were nice as well. We had the biscuit sandwich and the brunch board to share and they were both good! I only wished that it came with more bread because we ran out pretty quickly. I came a second time for happy hour but was disappointed that their happy hour was pricing more or less as regular time. We got a board for happy hour and had the corona bean & fennel, whipped avo spread, and crispy yam mochi. All were good but I highly rec the corona bean & fennel! This time, my friend asked if we could have more bread to go with our platter and they kinda gave us some. Not sure if that's the norm or if it's because it's happy hour! TLDR: I'd come back for brunch!“
“Not my cup of tea (pun intended) but my partner loves it. So I'll round up from my 4 to her 5. Clean food. Nicely put together. I like the non-green tea (all green tea tastes like grass to me) flavors/offerings. Food feels very Jpn. I still enjoy the food and desserts. Wife who likes the green tea enjoys the flavor of the soft serve. A little pricey imo, but still a good offering in the DT seattle area. Recommend.“
“We got the croque madame, french onion soup, and bacon quiche! Everything tasted amazing, and the food came with a large portion of vinaigrette dressed salad. We left extremely full and satisfied! Service was super kind and fast :) They give complimentary bread too! Very calm and inviting environment. Would definitely come back.“
“Great food. Love the veal tongue sandwich I got. Huge portion.Music is way too loud. Greek salad is a little bit too saucy.Over all good experience. Service is nice. Just wish the environment could be a little more cozy, less fast food like.“
“Beautiful restaurant. The wait staff is amazing. They are nice, helpfull and ready to assist anyone who might be there for the first time as the menu can be a little daunting for new customers. The food was excellent and really flavorful. The beef empanadas were a personal favorite.“
“My kids and I were running an errand and thank goodness we had some time to spare and were able to stop by Alexandra‘s. These macaroons are amazing! We got half a dozen, each one, a different flavor, and I couldn’t find one. I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. I honestly will go out of my way just to be in the area so we have an excuse go back. 10/10“
“TDLR; great spot to have a light meal, it doesn’t get crowded very quickly - so go early.I’ve been here multiple times and have ordered a few different things - avocado toast, the Matilda chocolate cake, tomato pepper soup and a bunch of coffees. I’m generally quite happy with the quality of the food here, and their coffee to great too.You do have to order at the counter and then find a table, which can sometimes get very messy and awkward given how full this place gets.“
“Best coffee experience in North Capitol Hill by far! Very unassuming since it's tucked away in the Kaiser building on 15th Ave, but absolutely worth the visit. You can see how the staff takes their time making each shot perfect and I greatly respect that dedication. And if you get the chance, always try Jonathan's newest latte flavors! They do not disappoint.“
“Great service, delicious food and I LOVE MY BEET IT Juice! What a fantastic local spot just down the street. I love coming to this place. You should definitely try the breakfast burrito yum! The quiche is good as well. Check them out. You won't be disappointed.“
“I’ve been meaning to come to Shawn’s bakery for a while now and I’m legitimately disappointed in myself that I hadn’t come sooner. The scone was nice and moist, the pretzel roll was the best I’ve had, and the caprese was nice and flavorful. Everything heated up nicely when I got home and none of these felt like a heavy cheat meal so I had no problem digging in. My family enjoyed the food, and I’d say there’s something here for everyone. Thank you for the wonderful food, Shawn!“
