“My husband and I went to Artisan's Books and Coffee on a date tonight and were delighted to meet the owner, Judy, as well as a number of lovely customers who were enjoying the evening's crafting event. The food was good, and we both enjoyed having a Huckleberry scrub (a mocktail sipping drink) made with local ingredients. This is a wonderful place to go and just "be." There is no hurry and you can relax and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere and conversation around you. 10 out of 10 would recommend. I will definitely be back!“

“I love this place! The Baristas are amazing! They are friendly, and engage in conversation. the coffee is so 🔥 I usually get a large double cup hot cocomo with whip. They rarely make mistakes and when they do they go above and beyond to correct it. They care also, when I told them that my brother died of cancer they gave me my drink for free.“

“I just had their mocha, and a grilled cheese sandwich. I am a little bummed that none of their breakfast sandwiches are vegetarian, but that’s only a problem on Mondays. Service is a tad slow, so I wouldn’t suggest as a place to grab a coffee and go. The mocha was really yummy though. Next time I go, I might have to try their mudslide cold drink! 😋“

“We were really thirsty coming back from korean bbq and wanted something refreshing, first of all the owners/employee’s were wonderful, extremely generous and kind. I got a smoothie and a juice. Both were outstanding and you can tell it was all very fresh! I also got a matcha crinkle cookie that was delicious. I will be a frequent customer :)“

The tea is from a small independent company and is quite delicious, unlike many other coffee places using Tazo tea or other common store-bought brands.

I waited out 6 other cars this morning and was served in less than 5 mins and got a "thank you for waiting". “This is the best Whidbey Coffee location! I used to go here daily back when I was commuting nearby. The staff are so friendly and awesome and got to know my usual drink without me even having to mention it. Honestly their coffee is my favorite of any coffeeshop around. They also have delicious scones and parfaits. Lines can get long because the place is popular, but they keep things moving quickly. I make a point to stop here any time I'm coming by. Make sure to get a punchcard!“
