“My husband and I went to Artisan's Books and Coffee on a date tonight and were delighted to meet the owner, Judy, as well as a number of lovely customers who were enjoying the evening's crafting event. The food was good, and we both enjoyed having a Huckleberry scrub (a mocktail sipping drink) made with local ingredients. This is a wonderful place to go and just "be." There is no hurry and you can relax and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere and conversation around you. 10 out of 10 would recommend. I will definitely be back!“

“Cute spot tucked into the side of the building, inside is definitely cozy with nicely spaced seating. We were initially drawn to this place because they had a couch, but ended up happy in a comfy corner booth. The drinks were a light to balanced sweetness, excellent frothed milk on the hot lattes, and the glasses and garnishes were a nice touch. The Espresso & Coke was probably my favorite. I’d return or bring a friend here for the aesthetic, friendly service, and cute cocktail-style coffee menu (for those who like more espresso-forward drinks or rotating seasonal menus— I do!). There’s also a chess board setup at one of the tables!“

The coffee is fantastic, the baristas are very hard working and I always notice the same exact person there every time I go. This coffee shop really seems to be made of someone’s blood, sweat and tears, so it’s a worthwhile stop. “I wish they had more non-coffee options and more food items, but a solid coffee shop. The location is ideal for gathering with friends or studying alone. The tea is from a small independent company and is quite delicious, unlike many other coffee places using Tazo tea or other common store-bought brands.

“This is the best Whidbey Coffee location! I used to go here daily back when I was commuting nearby. The staff are so friendly and awesome and got to know my usual drink without me even having to mention it. Honestly their coffee is my favorite of any coffeeshop around. They also have delicious scones and parfaits. Lines can get long because the place is popular, but they keep things moving quickly. I make a point to stop here any time I'm coming by. Make sure to get a punchcard!“
