“Fry Pan is a great Chinese takeout place, reminds me so much of Chinese takeout in New York china town. I’ve been all over the world and this is probably the best quality/ value in the area by far!

Many Asian takeout places tend to make everything sweet now (dumping of sugar), this place does not do that, which I am very grateful! This food has a closer to authentic taste, which could be why some people don’t like it (mainly because they don’t know what they’re talking about). You can tell that the food is made fresh and doesn’t have MSG. Portions are huge (and I mean huge) and I never felt that they tried to upsell us on anything.

My wife is Asian and approves of the taste. The customer service was outstanding as well, very friendly, honest, and willing to work hard to adjust food upon special request. We will definitely be back and will recommend them to family and friends.

“I come here at least once a week. The meats are so delicious. Everyone of them. My favorite is the scallion chicken. So much flavor. If you have plans for Thursday, cancel them and go get some of their golden pig. Best you'll ever have. Customer service is too notch. Everyone very pleasant. I'd give it a 15 or if 10. “An unassuming strip mall location hides the best Chinese restaurant in Federal Way.The staff are very welcoming, and make you feel right at home. The food is amazing, with vegetables cooked properly, and textures as they should be. Flavors are great. When cooking different vegetables together, some require more or less time to cook, but there is never an undercooked or overcooked vegetable, even in the same dish, meaning they take time to make sure they add ingredients in at the right time to make sure everything is cooked properly. Most other restaurants will just shove everything in a wok and it leads to some vegetables being overcooked and others being undercooked, these guys do it right. Definitely will be going here more often.“

“I've been to this place more times than I can remember. They serve great food, and only rarely do I get food that isn't perfect. I think that sometimes the chef cooks the chicken a little too long as only one time I've had dry Katsu. If you want teriyaki in Auburn, I recommend this place as your 'go to' location.“

“They have been here forever. Is it the best teriyaki? Some would argue no but it's good enough for me. The portions have always been generous. Many shops offer similar pricing but half the portions and honestly they aren't as friendly as this one.

When I pop in most teriyaki shops, they're surprised someone shows up like I've disturbed them from their nap. Not this place. They're ready to go as soon as you enter the door.“

“My sister and I went here last weekend for lunch. The staff here are super friendly and have a very positive attitude. We were greeted and seated immediately even though it was a little busy. Our waitress was great and very helpful in letting us know which dishes were popular and recommending things to try. The staff were also very quick to clear our dirty/empty dishes so we always had a clean table. The environment was nice and the music was great, really set the tone for a nice and relaxing lunch. “I always pre order for pickup. Food is always ready on time, hot and huge portions. Kinda spendy, with a bottled drink about 20$ I'm fine with it because I can never finish my meal in the first sitting so it ends up as a good snack later in the day.

“Always a great place to grab some dinner. I love the shrimp. Sometimes it can be busy and service gets slow but most of the time they are fast and on point. If you want to eat in, go through the Drive through and then go sit inside, it’s faster every time.“

“For what it is, this is a pretty good little place, nice and convenient, prices are pretty low and the food is mostly good. The batter on all the various chicken entrees could be fried a little longer, it is usually on the soggy side, but again this is a cheap eating kind of place, and for what you pay it aint too bad. The chicken chow mein and the mongolian beef are the 2 standouts for me. I got there often when I'm shopping or dont feel like driving far or spending alot on dinner. I would rate it slightly below safeway chinese, I give it 4 stars because it is good for what it is as I've said, a cheap decent place to get a quick bite.“

“I've been buying bbq pork buns from this bakery for about 8 years and I don't think I'll ever get tired of them. They're always consistent, fresh and tasty. Maybe a tad pricey but well worth it.Commons mall is always empty too but it's really nice to be able to get in and out quickly and not have to wait in lines plus it's close to the entrance too.“

“The place wasn't easy to find. Glad I found it. I ordered, looked at the menus and pictures for a minute or two. So many options to pick from. The food was out quicker than I expected! Pot stickers were nice and hot! The Teriyaki chicken portion fed three of us. Lots of rice too. The dressing on the lettuce is to die for. I will go back if in the area. Lots of folks picking up to-go.“
