“Super calm and quiet little hole in the wall teriyaki joint. I've been wanting to try this place for a while, and the little tucked away places like these are always the best! And I was not disappointed! The fried rice was some of the best I've ever had, Tempura shrimp and gyoza seemed very fresh and super flavorful and crispy. I got the Mongolian Beef as my main dish and while it seemed like it was missing something, maybe it wasn't as saucy as I'm used to at other places, but who knows this could be the traditional way to make it so I won't jump to conclusions. It was still very delicious though!

The only little downside is that I wish the meal portion sizes were a little larger. But other than that, service was very kind, it seems like this lovely older man and woman running the shop all by themselves. I had walked in to tonight get a to-go order tonight and was probably waiting a little less than or around 10 minutes, this was a Saturday night too. The place wasn't very busy, but I think it definitely deserves more attention. I will be coming here again!“

“I normally don’t review a restaurant after one visit, but Marzano was exceptional. It’s an approachable fine dining experience. The staff was great, and definitely give the impression that they genuinely care about your visit. We took a chance on the appetizer special, and were very happy that we stepped outside our comfort zone (Traditional Venetian antipasto of marinated salt cod on squid ink polenta cakes paired with whipped ciccione crostini, sour cherries and hazelnuts). The lasagna bolognese and carbonara were absolutely amazing from the first bite to the last. I’ve never had better.“

“A few months ago I came in for some cupcakes and saw they did custom cakes so I placed an order for my son’s 1st birthday cake. And let me tell you absolute phenomenal !! Not only did the cake look astounding, it also tasted amazing!!!!! Definitely will be ordering ALL my cakes from here from now on !! I got exactly what I asked for and more !!! The cake designer deserves a raise with the amazing work that is done !!!“

“3.5 stars, but rounding up to 4. If I had nothing to compare Watson’s to I would give them 5 stars. The selection is great. I love the house plant selection along with the home goods & garden items. Staff was friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable. I even saw staff helping an elderly customer load purchases into their car. They have a generous rewards program & great family friendly events. BUT when compared to my go-to greenhouse Watson’s comes in a little short. Although their plants perfectly fine, healthier plants at better prices are available if you travel a bit out of the metro. I’ll post some pictures below for reference. The first picture is of rosemary. Watson’s on the left, competitor on the right. The plant from the competitor has a healthier color, bushier growth, & a better taste (Watson’s is quite bitter). If you notice, the Watson’s plant is $2 more expensive & from the same initial source. Assuming the differences are due to type &/or lack of fertilizer. Next picture is vinca. Watson’s on the left, competitor on the right. Same initial source & also $2 more expensive at Watson’s. Competitor’s plant is denser, lusher (more growth points), & longer trailing. Watson’s does have a couple blooms, but that probably comes down to the difference of the fertilizer used. I grow vinca for trailing foliage, so I couldn’t care less about the blooms. Overall, Watson’s is a great option especially if you’re close. I will return to Watson’s occasionally for the large variety, home goods, & family events but I will get the majority of my plants elsewhere.“

“This place has super friendly folks and fair prices and lots of cute knick knacks for sale. It's extremely conveniently located for my commute back to Seattle, so I come here fairly often. My only minor nitpick is actually about the quality of their espresso: they pretty consistently pull rather bitter shots. I can't tell if it's a training issue or an issue with service on their machine or perhaps just the beans they use or the consistency of the grind, but it's always off. I asked them to pour their shots directly over ice which seems to help a little bit but I do wish this place could consistently deliver solid expresso. If you're reading this and work there: check for residuals on the group head and shower screen, Ensure the grind is not too fine, and don't over-tamp the coffee. If it tastes sour it's being overextracted the above should fix this.“

“Great for a quiet evening out or a nice dinner for two. Nice view of the water in the distance. Appetizers were flavorful, although a little overcooked and slightly rubbery. The pasta was wonderful! We had the rigatoni al salmone which was amazing. The smoked salmon was delightful in the garlic cream sauce. The tiramisu made in house was the perfect desert to finish things off. Must visit this wonderful restaurant if you get the chance!“

“We don't go to The Rock often. It's def a splurge for us. The margherita pizza is always my fav & we tried the crazy train pizza, which has a good kick to it. The house salad is huge & was nice & fresh with huge shavings of parm. The kids mac n cheese is a decent sized portion.

Alexis was an amazing server! She seated us quickly & was very attentive to our table. She asked if our child can play with some pizza dough while he waits, which is a cute gesture. We've never been offered pizza dough before. He had fun with it!

I'm sorry to see comments about the service being poor. The only qualm I would have was the noise when they were preparing for a party upstairs, but it's not enough to remove a star, especially since the server apologized for the noise.“

“This is a very good Ivar's location. The staff were very courteous and helpful, and the food was very good. I ordered the Jumbo Prawns (shrimp) with chips/fries, they were exceptional. If you want some quick and delicious seafood, this is a great choice.“

“This place converts three boring ingredients into a gourmet meal for a great price. The bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado (BLTA) sandwich on wheat was intelligently skewered with two skewers to help stabilize the consumption of this traditional meal so that it didn't become messy when you were a few bites into it. The lettuce was just as crispy as the browned bacon and the tomato didn't slide out of the sandwich. Mustard and mayonnaise were balanced. Service outside was frequent enough to not be excessively annoying which speaks to the intuition of the waiters here to detect the subtlety of great customer service. All of this in a shady spot on the corner of a quiet town in Puyallup made for an awesome visit.“

“I have never had teriyaki like this before, most teriyaki places have sauce all over the meat, sure, but the meat will STILL be dry. NOT HERE - the chicken is the most moist I have ever had at a teriyaki place, it isn't dripping in sauce, it just has a perfect layer for flavor. I 100% recommend this place to get your teriyaki, go ahead an ask for a side of sauce, but you'll barely even need it. ?“

To think that for all of these years I've driven past the restaurant but never visited until just the other day. The vibe/ambiance is perfect between being casual yet classy/fancy at the same time - it was a great date night spot for my husband and I.. We even dressed up a little and did not feel overdressed! The drinks, appetizers, and meal were all so tasty and very well displayed on the plate! Both our server and the cook were very accomodating to my dietary restrications and made the perfect meal per my requests. We will definitely be returning!!! Check it out!“

“I finally managed to check this great little spot out. It's just a few years young, but definitely on the right track. This husband and wife team creates some fantastically delicious and refreshing ciders! The flight I sampled consisted of 4 unique selections and all were amazing! The cider list will change frequently, so drink up because your fave might be long gone the next time you visit. Given that the taproom/cidery is in a renovated warehouse, it boasts high ceilings providing an open, spacious, and airy feeling, and seating is available outdoors as well. A food truck is on-site, bring your own eats, or Door Dash it. And...they have a few local beers are on tap, if ciders aren't your thing.Leashed fur-babies are allowed to hang out here with their well-behaved owners, and this place is family-friendly, too!I will definitely return and can't wait to see what's next on their cider menu.“
