“We love these donuts and the icecream is heavenly. Always a large selection of both and a friendly sales staff to boot. Always the same person so they may be the owner. They have lots of other goodies and drinks making for a one stop slice of happiness. We have to travel for this shop but try and visit at least once a month. The donuts here are fresh and have a good crumb as well as flavor. Worth a trip or if you're near be sure and drop in. Private lot shared with other businesses. No bathroom.“

From vietnamese coffee, to a strawberry white rabbit, they have drinks even the pickiest of people will enjoy.(While it sounds simple, I suggest trying a smoothies like the passion in love or very berry and adding rainbow jellies or popping boba. You'll thank me later)The store is adorned with studio ghibli, pokemon, animation, and just generally cute themes! They also offer sweet treats like waffles and fresh mochi cupcakes. (Dont worry they have ice cream too)Their staff is so kind, helpful, and hard working. If you don't know what to order, or you are wondering what goes into the drinks ingredient wise dont hesitate to ask! The staff knows the menu inside and out and will be more than willing to talk to you about it.Also with so many places asking for tips now, its hard to know when to tip well and who deserves it. Let me help you out, the staff are mostly younger people high school age to like mid 20s. (This is because the owner tries to give jobs to students who struggle to find somewhere that will hire them as their first job) these kids are putting themselves through college, or trade school, they have dreams of moving to their own apartments and being able to afford them, etc. These are the people who deserve tips without a doubt. So if you can afford it, just click that 15% button and know that its going to people who will genuinely use it!Honestly, I've seen some boba tea shops that had drinks double the price that just weren't nearly as good. The bambu staff is also fairly heavy handed with the toppings (trust me, that extra .50 cents for your fav add-in is so worth it)Also, one of my favorite things is their rewards program. You actually earn rewards and real discounts! This isn't starbucks folks. You don't have to buy 8000 frickin drinks just to earn a free add-in. You can earn free mochi cupcakes and a free large upgrade on your drink!Bambu is also involved in the community here in Tacoma and is available for catered events and holidays like the much anticipated lunar new year celebration and halloween when they encourage all ages to show up all dressed up and snap a pic with their drinksThe space itself is so well kept and clean. The kitchen area is honestly one of the cleanest I've seen and you better believe that staff is wiping down counters, floors, and doing dishes every chance they get!The ingredients are fresh and tested for freshness every morning before opening. I have never felt there was a risk of any old, moldy, or expired ingredients making their ways into my drinks or food.Overall, bambu is the kind of place that makes you feel like a kid again. There is no leaving the store without a smile on your face and I swear your eyes will light up like a cartoon character when you try the drinks*special note: Although bambu is a chain, the owner of this specific Tacoma store is a ridiculously nice, hardworking, dedicated lady who is often behind the counter or working in the back alongside her staff. “Pork Belly Sandwich is “expletive” incredible! Staff is so friendly and inviting, store is immaculate, but most importantly the food is incredibly good. Fresh soft French bread, fresh veggies, and the meats are juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. I have had almost everything on the menu now and never had a bad bite. “We have been here several times since the place is close to where we live. My husband is used to Dutch Bros from Vancouver, WA. Over the last few years they have started expanded in the Puget Sound area and this one in Fife has some of the friendliest workers. They make good drinks and the one's with coffee don't taste burnt. As a Starbucks person, I prefer Dutch Bros. over Starbucks since most of Starbucks mocha's have a burnt coffee taste to them in recent years. Prices are comparable to Starbucks but Dutch Bros has some kid friendly options such as the smoothies my girls love.Kid-friendliness: There are smoothies and hot chocolate for kids that make this place kid friendly when you don't want to get your kids a coffee drink.“

“3/8/24 7am-Super sweet and beautiful barista this morning! I'm from Portland, OR and was in town on business and looked around for a Bikini Barista Espresso stand like we have back at home and found this one not too far from my hotel room. Was greeted warmly and asked what kinda drink I wanted. I asked for something like I get back home called a blended Reese's Peanut Butter Cup with an extra shot. She asked if I wanted more of a protein peanut butter which I didn't and so thankful she asked 1st.?She made it PERFECTLY and just like I wanted??She said it's so good because it was made with love, which it was!? Soooooo yummy!? While she was making it we had a nice lil conversation and found out she had ties to my NE Portland stomping grounds?? Made me feel kinda like I was already back at home I haven't been this far into Washington since the Freaknight times up in Seattle, but if I'm ever up in Tacoma again, this will be my go-to stand for a perfect drink and a sweet way to get up in the morning!? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
