Indian Restaurants near Mount Vernon

“I was planning on going to another restaurant in the area but walked by Taste of India and the delicious aromas lured me into this restaurant instead.

We got a seat quickly even with it being very crowded. The staff was quick, warm, friendly and by the end almost felt like family.

The food was delicious. Samosas were well seasoned, crispy and a nice texture.
Garlic Naan was huge and quite tasty!
Saag paneer was perfectly cooked, well seasoned and a creamy texture.
Butter Chicken was absolutely incredible- we nearly licked the bowl clean.
They provided extra rice when packing up leftovers and were incredibly hospitable.

“The staff is great. The food is good. Last night at open mic the cook decided to create a new pizza that was great and shared it with the open mic folks. As well with some other customers. Friendly place that has alot to offer. Kid Friendly family Friendly just a fun place“
