Well balanced dish (although I had extra chicken), and the atmosphere (me being alone in the restaurant felt kinda good, but it's a little forlorn). Why not many people eat at this location is beyond me, but I HIGHLY recommend eating here. True quality and real appreciation of Teriyaki. (If you haven’t tried injeolmi, it’s kind of nutty and roasty, but really light.) Our visit left us with full bellies and big smiles.

“This has to be the top mom and pop Korean joint on highway 99. They recently reopened the sitting area! The menu is limited but portions are larger than life. The aroma can be felt from the parking lot. The sweet lady working the front is so patient with you.

I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, which came with white rice, hot and sour soup, and an egg roll. The Pad Thai was flavorful and well-balanced, with just the right amount of tanginess and sweetness. I also tried the Sweet and Sour Chicken, which was delicious but, in hindsight, I would recommend asking for the sweet and sour sauce on the side. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it would have allowed for a bit more control over the flavor.

Overall, Chef Liao is a fantastic spot for a hearty, delicious meal with quick service and a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re in the area, especially after a trip to the zoo, it’s definitely worth a visit!“
