Well balanced dish (although I had extra chicken), and the atmosphere (me being alone in the restaurant felt kinda good, but it's a little forlorn). Why not many people eat at this location is beyond me, but I HIGHLY recommend eating here. True quality and real appreciation of Teriyaki. We've tried all of them except for goat... but that's because we are so satisfied and craving the Oxtail and the wagyu!! Also there is a very tasty deconstructed Passion Fruit pie with i think a shortbread component and a torched meringue star topping - so soooo good! “I ordered a few bento boxes to go for a quick meal before the sportsman show.

I ordered three chicken teriyaki bento boxes, the bento boxes came with teriyaki chicken, rice, a California roll, potsticker , egg roll, shrimp tempura and a salad. Plenty of food for the price and for one person. The bento box could have fed two people.

I love the salad, I love the dressing . It’s a sweet sauce. The chicken teriyaki was a little too sweet but still delicious. I loved the shrimp tempura and the sauce that came with it. It was nice to have a basic California roll since we typically don’t ever order that from a sushi restaurant. The egg roll was okay, it was a veggie egg roll, but still good .

“First time trying after many years. We arrived around 855pm and seemed like they were closing soon.

3 of us quickly ordered 6 entrées. Food was great but only big negative was that one us feeling under the weather and requested own set of side dishes..very relunctly given as waitress said they normally don't do that. Mind you were order 6 entrées for 3 of us whereas the final bill exceeded $165....little perplexed. Also...No side dishes refills...hmmmm which was very odd. What if we all sat separately!? We should surely get our own side dishes. When asked for refill side dishes...kitchen closed so a flat no. Why can't the waitress ask us prior to shutting down especially we stated we wanted to order kalbi takeout and we were also denied. Hmmmmmm.

“This review is based on take out! I recommend you call ahead if you're interested in the Xinjiang Baked bread below as they may sold out end of the day. The staff were very polite as well, I read from other reviews it is under new management. The other dish was Xinjiang hand pulled rice (unfortunately I already ate half of it before taking the photos 😂 - it is good portion!). They have other dishes I'll have to come back and try, but these are popular recently.

Both dishes are cumin-forward and I love cumin, so I think they're flavorful. The lamb was prepared excellently as there was no gamey smell to it. The rice comes with chickpeas and also pickled/oily carrots (not pictured) which were very tasty with the rice.

The meat filling in the bread was really good,and the pastry was soft and filling. I do think it's a bit thicker than I'm used to, but I never really had Xinjiang food so you can disregard me on that.

Overall I will be visiting again, definitely plus points to the polite waitress and waiter, even giving me suggestions on how to reheat for optimum taste!“

I come from Az and I’m used to authentic food granite not every place in Phoenix is authentic but I’m a native to Az and I know where to go to get good food.
