“Great pizza; cold beer and friendly people!“

“I’m so upset! We go here at least twice a year spending over 1,000.00 a weekend. Mostly have had a good experience. This time our dining experience was horrible! My cod and chips were dripping with grease before I even tried to take a bite. So terrible I couldn’t even eat them. I tried just eating some fries. The bartender asked how our meal was and I let her know how bad it was. She did nothing, but bring me a to go box. I told her I didn’t need it And she took the box. I stated it looks like you’re making pay $25.00 for a small amount of fries. I was still eating my fries and she took my plate. If they want to charge these high prices for food, they need to up their standards. Also, the bartender checked on her only 2 other tables three times before coming back to ours to refresh drinks and see if we needed anything. We were a table of 6 people who tip well. Took for ever to get our tab settled. My husband finally had us all go back to the lodges and waited himself to pay. Rant over.“

“Wow.... I'm a cook, I'm picky, I'm not easily impressed. This place just served my daughters and I one of the best meals I have had in years. I found out I don't like tofu but everything else that went across my plate was exceptional. I absolutely highly recommend.“

The servers know us by now and always know what we want and they have been wonderful at making their food vegan for me.
Everything is healthy and not covered in oil. Couldn’t say enough.

“I was completely shocked a couple weeks ago when my husband and I went to breakfast at waffle Café on 72nd. We stopped going for a long time because the atmosphere was horrible. It was dirty. The food changed, it was bland, greasy and had gone downhill. This time it was absolutely amazing, the restaurant was much cleaner, the food was much better and the atmosphere was a lot more welcoming. A few days ago I went to get a gift card for a family member who use to eat there but stopped because of the lack of sanitary and food. While getting the gift card I asked the gal if there was a new owner, she said no, and I told her that we were , very surprised how welcoming and clean and how much better the food has been. I asked if they had a management change and she said yes that she was the new manager. I told her thank you for the job that she’s done making the café more welcoming again. Its nice to see that somebody cares about the cleanliness and the food in their establishment. We will be going back.“
