“Great food, great staff, wonderful view”

“5 stars is the only option I'd consider for this relativity new Gig Harbor restaurant. Parking was easy during our Sunday late afternoon visit. When walking in , we were instantly greeted with a warm smile and promptly seated. Everything appeared crystal clean . Indian food can be rather spicy . My wife and I are used to spicy foods and asked for a level 3, which worked perfectly for us. There is no view, yet I'd consider the setting quite romantic, with a fairly low noise level allowing for pleasant conversations. My Aloo Gobi was delicious, my wife agreed that her Chicken Tika was as well. For our drink we each ordered a mango lasi and again werenot disappointed. A great little restaurant.”

“When I walked into Holy Water, I felt like I’d stepped inside my favorite kooky aunt’s house. She was the black sheep of the family who made me laugh a little too much when we were forced to go to church to appease my grandmother. Eventually, we were forbidden to sit next to one another because we’d both be in tears and giggling so loudly that the entire congregation would turn to stare us down. That sort of irreverent (yet respectful and funny) vibe is part of Holy Water’s DNA. This place immediately makes you feel welcome. It doesn’t take itself too seriously- that is except for the food. If only my kooky aunt was as good a cook… The staff is amazing. They were patient when my lunch companion had to make some bizarre alterations to his order. (He’d just had a wisdom tooth pulled a couple of days before and needed softer foods.) When we were ready to leave and still had way too much food on our plates, a staff member saw the look of surrender on our face and quickly boxed up the remainders and told us that she’d added some extra gravy (yum!) for us to take home. (Who doesn’t love extra sausage gravy?) I love this place. The food is great but what really makes this spot shine is the people. I can’t wait to go back.”

“Why does May's Thai food taste so much better than Thai food in the Seattle Metro area? Is it the country air? Is it because you have to take a ferry to enjoy it? I don't know the answer, but it is delicious! Make May's Kitchen your destination restaurant experience this summer.”

“We think they have the best Cesar salad ever. It was perfect. High quality ingredients make this place soar above the rest. Small inside but plenty of outdoor seating. Everything was authentic from Italy. The meats, sauce and bread ingredients were spectacular. The drinks were perfect. Lots of customized options. Very clean local produce. In house made dressings and sauces.”

“I ordered the banana bread French toast and it was absolutely worth it! The bacon was thick, salty, and hearty—just the way it should be. The French toast itself was dense, moist, filling, and delicious. Fair warning: it’s a rich breakfast that might leave you ready for a nap afterward, but in the best way possible. If you’re looking for a standout breakfast entrée, I highly recommend the banana bread French toast!”

“I LOVE BIG JOES SANDWICH SHOP! delicious sandwiches served hot or cold! I’ve tried almost all of them! build your own, Philly cheesesteak, pulled pork, and chicken bacon ranch! I’m currently eating the Bánh Mì sandwich as I type this. It’s the perfect hearty fulfilling sandwich on a hot day. It’s a hot sandwich served with fresh veggies. Delicious!!!”

“I got into town after about 26 hours on airplanes or in airports and was in desperate need of a real meal. The staff was very knowledgeable and was able to easily point out all the vegan options as well as the menu items that could be made vegan by request. I was very pleased with my meal and left very stuffed.”

Casual vibe with counter service and cozy, family restaurant style seating. Everything about Vashon is local, historic and unique, Zamorana is a great addition to the diversity of charm and dining choices.”

“I have never had pizza to go and went there tonight. The second I walked in Patrick, Danni and Giuseppe were so warm, welcoming and quite the comedians! They suggested a glass of wine while I waited for my pizza so I went and had a glass of wine. The bartender was just as amazing as them! Hands down the best customer service in a long time and the pizza was outstanding! I'll definitely be back! Thank you :)”

“I had their Greek burger which was the special for the day and it was amazing! Their onion rings are so good also. Katie was our server and did an outstanding job as usual. We got greeted by Dan with his big smile and he always makes us feel welcome.”

“First of all, this is one of our absolute favorite taco trucks in the area. Their asada is amazing and even their bean and cheese burrito is out of this world. Their flour tortillas are clearly fresh. My partner (who LOVES sauces) is a huge fan of all of their salsas. I trusted them enough to cater my wedding and they did not disappoint! I don’t even normally like corn tortillas but they tasted amazing. Both the chicken and beef were full of flavor and NOT even close to dry. They did a great job, thank you for always being amazing!”

“Everything we’ve ever had here has been fantastic. The environment is top notch and the employees from owner down are always awesome. Checked out the new brunch menu today. Got two orders of the banana bread French toast and it was incredible. Sunday is always our takeout breakfast day and my daughter said “this is the best thing the little pancake house has ever made” (normally gets pancakes from next door) I told her where it came from and she now has a new favorite breakfast spot.”

Square Pegs Autistic Adult Meetups needed a place for meetings and I was hopeful that Ashley would be willing to discuss the possibility. She went so far beyond that - she was immediately responsive in the affirmative, scheduled a time to chat quickly, and graciously let us use the space without so much as a charge or minimum drink orders. She just wanted to support the Neurodivergent community here in having a space. Endlessly grateful for the opportunity to work with Ashley's Pub. <3”

“I finally got to try Harbor Haute Dogs! This was a killer experience that goes beyond lunch. I tried an all-beef Chicago Dog and that sold me first bite. Peppers, pickles, tomatoes, relish, raw onion, mustard, and celery seed on a perfect bun. I have to say, it was fun trying to balance everything and keep it together while eating. I can’t wait to try some of the more adventurous selections (like the Goober). Best place for a hot dog I’ve ever been to!”
