“Came for morning coffee while visiting Port Townsend. Great location and view…if you can get a seat! It was super crowded and we ended up at a tiny table in a dark hallway by the entrance. People were constantly coming in and out, leaving the door open so we were cold. The coffee and muffin were excellent but I wish we could’ve been inside.“

“Just got my first coffee from there with some family and had a great experience! The Irish cream mocha is honestly the BEST Irish cream coffee I’ve EVER had. The turmeric chai + honey was so warming and delicious. If you’re a huge Christmas fan, I recommend the hot chocolate. Brings you to Christmas no matter the season. I’ll definitely continue to support this coffee shop!“
“The Nest is such a great space for kids. It's been so good for my youngest (12) as it's safe and so welcoming. To have a place I feel comfortable sending him off to on his own is a godsend. It allows for independence but also it's a little community of new friends. 😍“

“Every time we visit Port Townsend our first stop is The Mean Bean.
The coffee is always delicious and the service is both friendly and fast.
We find their prices are better than the PNW chain coffee shop and the coffee is more enjoyable.“

“Drinks were good.
Kid-friendliness: I have always gone to Starbucks as long as I can remember. It has always been very welcoming. Just don't let the little ones get to out of hand because sometimes people are trying to get work done.“
“The coolest dispensary I've ever been in. Mr. Ed is very knowledgeable and I learned a few things I didn't know about. He made great recommendations for what I wanted and more. The area outside was so beautiful with flowers, plants and seashells. 5*****“

“We had chicken mole and enchiladas as well as a hibiscus tea and a hot chocolate. Everything was very delicious and the service was wonderful. My husband said it reminds him of eating in a small café in Mexico. My only dislike was the Nirvana music pounding out of the kitchen because the dining room and the kitchen are all one space. Some interesting Mexican music would have been great.“

“Afternoon tea was lovely! We will be back. The Branston pickle and cheddar cheese finger sandwiches were yummy scrummy.“
