“The Galbi Jim at this Korean restaurant is absolutely outstanding! The beef is incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with rich, savory flavors that melt in your mouth. The sauce is perfectly balanced — sweet, salty, and deeply aromatic, coating every bite beautifully. You can really taste the care and time that went into the slow braising. Served with fresh sides and rice, it’s pure comfort food perfection. Highly recommended!“

“The food has always been amazing, I've been here a few times. My husband and I went there for our anniversary and they went above and beyond to make it a special evening. Jino, Rani, and Jinwoo were all so sweet and helpful, it was such a wonderful evening.“

“My grown kids took me here to try Asian food and I fell in love with the taste! It was very healthy (I know some sweet ones with sugar is not but it wasn't too sweet but delicious). I tried what my kids picked. If I come back to visit my kids, I would definitely choose this place for lunch or dinner!
Vegetarian options: There are some foods that aren't too spicy and I asked to make sure which foods were okay for my stomach to handle“

“What a phenomenal place! Great service and accommodations for gluten-free highly recommend the yam noodles and the rice cake soup. They even brought us out some chamomile tea since we couldn’t drink their standard tea!
Thank you for such an awesome experience!“

“Had takeaway from here, I ordered the katsu nembi deopbab.
I love the organizer. Food was SO HOT even after I got home. Honestly, everything was excellent. Their soup is odengtang, not miso — really refreshing, and it complemented the dish so well.“

“The side dishes are terrific and tasty. My go-to dishes are tofu soup, bibimbap and fried chicken, it is the best among the Korean restaurants I visited in East Seattle. The service varies each time I went, sometimes very welcoming and kind, sometimes indifferent. Overall I'll come back when I crave for Korean food.“

“It was so much fun❤️ The bartender played a game called “King’s Game” with us and it made our night so much fun! If you want to have a fun night too, ask Jin about it. They prepared Halloween decorations and it really got us excited. The strawberry daiquiris we ordered at the bar was delicious and really got us into the Halloween vibes. We’ll be back soon.“

“I went in semi naive to what was on the menu. Nothing stands out. You order at the counter. Understand that the dishes are larger to feed 2-3 people and their are no sides. Meaning if you like rice with your Asian cuisine it will be extra. Not realizing the size of the dishes I ordered 5 things and 2 sodas and a beer and 2 sides of rice which are small 1 person small and I spent with tip close to 140$+
It is in a strip mall so this is not meant to be fancy. Think small cafeteria style. Of the dishes the on that stood out for me was the chili shrimp. Otherwise pretty generic stuff. Beef had a diffrent texture to it that didn't suit me well. But if your into Asian cuisine make your own opinion. I more then likely won't go back. Quality of food for the money not a win for me.“

“I didn’t expect to find Korean cuisine of this quality in Issaquah — what a pleasant surprise. Their Galbi-jjim (갈비찜) was especially delicious. It’s not a dish you can find at every Korean restaurant, so definitely give it a try!“

“This is my go-to spot for a working lunch. Absolutely love their food! The banchans are top notch, packed with flavor and always feel like a treat. I easily get two meals out of one bowl. Every dish hits the spot - customizable, consistently delicious and satisfying. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a flavorful, reliable Korean meal. The service is fast and the staff is courteous.“

“The staff were friendly and helpful. After we ordered our entrees they brought us a salad and a small appetizer.
My grandchild (16) had the Tteokbokki, I had the L.A. Kalbi. We both rated our entrees 5/5. Atmosphere is extremely cozy and welcoming. Will be back.“

“Great atmosphere and service! Atmosphere is good given it's clean and new. Food was tasty and the small dishes (banchan) was refillable. Hit all the right notes. This was the BBQ short rib (kalbi) and Nakdol. Enough good food for two. Service felt prompt with the brown rice tea and refill of the banchan. Not pictured is the small fried fish it came with. Good value in this area and would recommend! Our service was a tall white lady, very polite! Will return on cold dark Seattle winters.“

“So delicious! I have tried the fried chicken, the spicy chicken sandwich, and the bulgogi bowl. All were made to order, flavorful, with great texture! Their chicken sandwich is particularly addictive, with a spicy sauce, light and crispy chicken, and tasty slaw. Writing this is making me hungry!“

“Bothell’s Ta Joia isn’t your sleepy strip-mall filler—it’s a technicolor veggie parade disguised as dinner. I ordered bibimbop, spring rolls, and the feijoada bowl, which felt like a samba in a rice bowl. It’s the rare spot where “eating your vegetables” is less a chore and more a sly dare. Flavor bombs everywhere, and suddenly I’m craving greens I never cared about. That’s Bothell magic.“

“This place is honestly my favorite Korean restaurant! I’ve been here so many times and it never disappoints. The service is always super friendly, portions are big, and they bring out so many tasty side dishes. Everything feels fresh and full of flavor. I always leave happy and full. Definitely one of the best spots around for Korean food!“

“TL;DR: Fresh and satisfying.
Parking: hard to find free spots but there are plenty of paid spots in the garage or street. Weekends aren't free in paid spots.
Atmosphere: spacious, seems like most orders are ToGo/PickUp.
Service: wait to be seated, scan the QR code at the table, order taken at the table when you are ready, you will be watered, food brought to you, check brought to you, boxes for leftovers available upon request.
Menu: QR code located on the metal trash bins on the table. Photos available for the main items, mainly names and brief descriptions.
Complimentary cabbage salad: it was very crunchy and fresh, the dressing was creamy, sweet and every so slightly tangy.
Yakisoba: great noodle to topping ratio. Pretty much at least one topping in every noodle bite. The veggies had a very nice blanched texture and were added a light crunch to each bite. The sauce was as tad on the sweet side for me though.
Fries: lightly seasoned and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I found I could eat these plain without the need for a dip.
Original Fried Chicken: Very flaky and lightly crunchy. The chicken inside was brined nicely and was very tender and juicy.“

“The spot is definitely on the price your side for Korean barbecue but the meat quality was really good and we actually got the meat combo for two and it was perfect amount for three people. We got a bunch of different sides. The banchan was the only disappointing part really not a lot of flavor. Their potato salad was extremely dry.“

“From ordering to receiving order does take 15-20 minutes. This chicken is hot, juicy, and delicious. Worth the wait.
Kid-friendliness: Chicko Meal is breaded, fried chicken pieces, fries and a drink. Works for a quick meal for my 11 yo.
Wheelchair accessibility: Close to ADA Parking. Restaurant is spacious. Tables are appropriately sized for assistive devices. Bathroom isn’t as accessible.“

“If you’re craving bold flavors and comforting Korean classics, this restaurant is an absolute standout. Every dish feels like it’s made with genuine care—rich broths, perfectly balanced seasonings nothing too salty, and fresh ingredients that speak for themselves.
The kimchi hits that ideal mix of spicy, tangy, and deeply fermented goodness. Their short ribs is tender and marinated to perfection, melting in your mouth with every bite. The dishes arrive vibrant and beautifully arranged, and once mixed, it becomes a harmony of textures and flavors that’s simply addictive. And don’t skip the banchan—each small dish brings its own personality and rounds out the meal in a way that feels both generous and authentic. Could not decide which one was my favorite! Out of all Korean restaurants ive ever been too this one won me over just with the banchan! The japchae was also hands down best of all time.
Service is was fast, making the whole dining experience even better. We did have reservations, the parking lot and restaurant was booming at 6:30 PM on a Saturday night. Be sure to arrive a bit early if going during dinner time and prepare to fight for a spot or two or circle around a few times. But honestly, once you taste the food, you’ll realize it’s more than worth the effort.“

“this place is amazing! my sister and i went here to eat and it was only my second time and her first time trying korean barbeque and the waitress was super accommodating and fast with her service and helped us with the process and made us feel so welcome. the quality of the meats and marination on them are fantastic and i had a great time eating the foods and side dishes. of course the meat is satiating so make sure you don’t get overwhelmed and try to eat too much meat because you’ll get fuller than expected. I met the manager Jong as we left and she said bye to us in such a sweet and respectful manner. best restaurant and service ever.🩷“

“I always love coming to this place because they always have great portion sizes and excellent customer service. I am a frequent customer and in my opinion one of the best teriyaki places in the area!! One of the many things I love eat here is the Korean fried chicken which is only available during dinner time it doesn’t need sauce to make it taste amazing but when you have it with the sauce it elevates the flavor more and each time I order anything from the menu, you can tell everything is fresh and piping hot when you get it! This business deserves more than 5 stars in my opinion and I recommend this place to all my customers at my place of work. 10/10 in my book!“

“If I could give Kobe more than 5 stars, I would. Every dish we tried was outstanding. The White Dragon Roll was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The Hot Pot Bibimbop arrived sizzling with perfectly balanced spices. The Teriyaki Chicken with Yakisoba was pure comfort food, and the Chicken and Dumplings were rich and satisfying.
For dessert we shared the chocolate ice cream, which turned out to be Oreo cookie ice cream—a great surprise and an even better value.
The service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and attentive, and it is clear the staff works as a team. The ambience is calming and makes it easy to relax and enjoy the meal.
This will definitely be our regular spot for date nights and whenever we are craving something amazing.“

“Seoul Meat Co. really impressed me! The meat quality is some of the best I’ve ever had at a Korean BBQ spot — super fresh, beautifully marbled, and so flavorful once grilled. You can actually taste the difference compared to other places. The side dishes were great too — fresh, tasty, and they kept refilling them without us even asking. Everything paired so well together, from the kimchi to the sauces.
The staff were awesome — friendly, attentive, and always checking in to make sure we were taken care of. They even helped with grilling, which made the whole experience really easy and fun. I also loved the atmosphere here. It’s modern, clean, and has a lively energy without being too loud. Perfect for hanging out with friends, family dinners, or even a date night.
Price-wise, it felt totally worth it for the quality you get. We left super full and satisfied, already talking about what we’ll order next time. Overall, Seoul Meat Co. has become one of my favorite spots for Korean BBQ — great food, great service, and a great vibe. I’ll definitely be back soon!“

“Somisomi was an interesting experience. The desserts are delicious. The taiyaki is good. The ice cream is soft and creamy and not too sweet. We really enjoyed the flavors!
Unfortunately the shop itself is very odd, there's no AC and no indoor seating though it is relatively spacious. The service was mediocre. Overall I enjoyed the dessert so I'd come back for it.“

“I don’t usually write reviews, as you can probably tell from my non-review status, but this Jumbo Chicken Teriyaki Box has completely changed the game for me. As someone who travels frequently for work and eats on the go, I was not only surprised but genuinely in awe of the simple yet incredible meal that was delivered to my less-than-glamorous hotel room in Seatle.
When I say "simple," I don’t mean it in a negative way—rather, it was simply perfect. The chicken, the salad—everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I was so impressed that I feel compelled to tell others: Order from here now, and often!
It’s been two weeks since I left Seattle, and I’ve thought about this meal at least 35 times since returning home. This place is a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to get back to the West Coast so I can dine here again. For what it’s worth, I ordered from them both nights of my stay in Seattle. Highly recommend!“

“We were actually on our way somewhere else to eat when we saw Joy Box and the menu. It looked good so we walked in. The food was so good. The portions are HUGE. Great value for the money. We had the seafood ramen which was super spicy in a good way and full of flavour. We had the katsu chicken bento box which was full of wonder things to try like fried dumplings, spring rolls, noodles, rice and of course katsu chicken. We had fried dumplings and beef bulgogi. Everything was delicious. The restaurant was clean and the vibe was nice. The staff was good. We highly recommend this place.“

“So much food!
My goodness. This was mine and my friends' first time having Korean barbecue. This place had great really fun atmosphere. The experience is very interactive, especially if you end up doing the barbecue and cooking your own food.Or, if you have an incredibly friendly waiter with five star customer service skills, he might hang out at your table and do it for you!!! Josh, you took it to the next level.
My friend and I did the beef barbecue. It is 95 for two people, but my friend and I were talking, when you consider the price of a really good steak, this was a smoking deal! There is enough meat to feed four people, and we both ended up taking full portions home for later. The quality of the beef is top-notch. Especially the beautifully marbled oxtail.
The course comes with plenty of sides. Including side salads, in-house crafted salt, in-house crafted pickled radish, in-house crafted sashimi sauce, garlic, fresh jalapeños, and in house crafted kimchi... and multiple other little side dishes I can't even remember right now.
This is definitely a restaurant that is as much an experience as it is a meal.“
