“one of my favorite spots!! the owner is really nice and accommodating! i order the spider burrito and i asked to add shrimp tempura, and he does it without extra charge!! food has always tasted really good and it’s a really good portion!! i come here a lot. the only bad thing is that sometimes i’ve had to wait 10+ minutes but it’s nothing that would stop me from ever going. in the future i think it would be best to call and order ahead for pick up

Parking: since it is a food cart you have to drive past it and park around the corner, you just turn left by the convenience store. it’s not a far walk at all and i’ve always gotten a really good parking spot“

“My husband and I just moved to Vancouver and went to Sakanaya Sushi for our anniversary dinner. All of the food was super fresh, presented exquisitely, and our server was lovely. Very friendly, casual atmosphere. The prices were very good as well. We will definitely be returning!“

“I like to come here with my dad and sushi is good quality and I just love be their spicy tuna hand rolls, however, I was really disappointed to see that the conveyor is no longer a thing. Don’t get me wrong, sushi is still great, but it’s still a shame that the conveyor isn’t a thing anymore.“

“This place was a pleasant surprise. I’d been to other sushi places nearby and even poor experiences- kept going back to them. This is now my go to place. The service is way ABOVE the other place nearby. Very friendly and attentive. Easy to see what you want as it passes by. Great HH. We liked it so much that we came by twice in one week for late lunch (we normally don’t do lunch). Anyway- passed by so many times and judged it because it’s kind of in a strip mall type setup. Do not let that fool you. Just a great experience with really friendly and authentic folks running & working there.“

“All the basic Chinese buffet but I'd have to say I love coming here for the veggies. Always fresh haven't had a bad visit for that. The sushi I would say hard pass - tons of other options to pick from. As you can imagine the sushi is low tier. The teriyaki chicken is my favorite meat there - honey chicken is good when fresh fresh. Ladies are always friendly and nice. Wish they had more room so u aren't so close to other tables. Sometimes hard to have a good conversation when u got tons of ppl around u.“
