“First and foremost, the fish here is some of the best I've had anywhere in the Portland - Vancouver area. Very fresh and delicious sushi. It is no longer a conveyor belt operation, however, and pricing is not budget. The atmosphere and decor are rather bare bones. Still, the food is delicious.“

“We fell in love this place because of the atmosphere, professional service and delicious sushi. I recently had my best meal of recent memory there. The guys make the sushi right in front of you. Conveyor-belt serving is fun and faster than fast food. I can feed two 160-lb people for about $30. Yumm!“

“Hokkaido Sushi Bar is fantastic. Their sushi is absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared with the perfect balance of texture and taste. Every roll and piece of nigiri tastes incredibly fresh, and you can really tell they use high-quality ingredients.

“This is my favorite sushi train in Vancouver/Portland! The workers are always polite and greet me at the entrance, I like the ability to choose my own seat. I like coming in the morning when they are making all the sushi, it tastes very fresh and good. My favorite is the dynamite roll, it’s delicious. They always have ramune and jelly and fruits as well. The workers come to ask how we are doing. I will always keep coming back as long as they are open!!“

“My favorite place! Staff is friendly, buffet has lots of options. Seriously love their food. Its a bit of a drive for us but honestly so worth it! Been coming here for years. You can dine in or take out, and you still get a lot of food when you take out!“
