“I didn't get a picture of everything we tried but I had to leave a review because we came in about 15 minutes before closing time and we were going to do take out, but the lovely couple seated us down and told us to not rush and let us enjoy our meal together. They were so sweet to us and we all got to know each other a bit and overall I had such a great experience! The food was good too and I had to take a picture of the wings. I forgot to take a picture of the rest of the food because I was too focused on eating haha. However the wings were SO flavorful and juicy and delicious. The sauce was so good as well. I had a great experience and thank you so much to the kind owners who let us stay and eat there. We had an amazing experience here. So we decided to give it a chance and I have to say, it was absolutely worth every penny. We were seated very quickly and given complimentary chips and salsa and were also served our drinks fast as well. My wife ordered the two (2) chimichanga combination dinner served with a very generous portion of rice & and beans, and I ordered the three(3) beef enchiladas combination dinner, also served with a generous portion of rice & beans. If you enjoy chimichangas, then you will definitely enjoy them here, and you really want a good enchilada, then stay in your seat and order a couple. My wife and I are looking forward to returning to Mazatlan!. I forgot to mention that the service here is impeccable as well.“

Not only did I enjoy the best martini I’ve ever had (make sure you take Payton’s recommendation and order the Gunpowder Gin), but the food was delectable. We started with the Formosa Roll and enjoyed the shrimp tacos and steak. The Formosa Roll was savory and spicy, the shrimp were perfectly cooked for the tacos and the steak came with potato spirals that I didn’t know I needed in my life, but absolutely do! A true gem of Tacoma, bravo Eric and team!“

“First you have to understand that this would be considered a drive bar. After that, understanding that they have a few games, pinball, darts, pool and decent people there makes this a hidden spot for fun eat before you go, but at the least they serve liquor and have beers on tap. These are the spots that help keep Tacoma small and are perfect when you really want to just have a drink and unwind with a mixed crowd“

I actually live closer to the Pac Ave location, but every time I’ve been there, they’re extra rude so… Yeah I drive to the 38th location, and no matter who is working the smoothies taste the same, and their customer service is the always the same, the same being excellent every time. 10/10 recommend this ECS if you’re in the Tacoma area.“
