“My favorite bar in Tacoma. I was looking for a place to watch a huskies game last season and no bars were showing it since the game was on the Peacock app. The manager let me cast my phone to the TV and other huskies fans started rolling in to watch not long after. Love this place.“

The decor is a blast from the past, with vintage signs and memorabilia covering every inch of wall space. Don't skip the dill dip (it's made in-house). “I loved the vibe here reminds me of my grandma's house, and her home cooking. The food was so bomb I ordered the Maple biscuit with sausage and egg they call it the Sizzurup! Highly recommend it, cooked perfectly I wanted seconds lol. 😋 they had music playing which was my kind of vibe. The line wasn't too long, and you can order ahead if you would like, They have also have to go options. Most definitely coming back with friends and family!“

He’s diligently ensured that all insurance paperwork is in order with the school district, which is an extra lift for him that he graciously worked through. I genuinely can’t recommend him enough! His scooped ice cream is delicious, and the kids like the novelty bars. At our last event the line stretched down the side of the building because his truck was so popular! “This place has become my new go-to spot for a cup of coffee. I brought my Shih Tzu, Rocco, and as soon as we stepped inside, the friendly staff greeted us with a warm smile. They offered us a bone or a Pup-uccino, which was a thoughtful gesture. The ambiance was incredibly welcoming and relaxing, creating a cozy atmosphere. The coffee was exceptional, with a perfect balance of flavor and not too much sweetness. The staff was incredibly attentive and provided top-notch customer service. The venue is absolutely stunning; classy and comfortable with a warm atmosphere ideal for our group of 35+ attendees. “I had a great night at Hank’s enjoying the tasty French dip and fresh dinner salad. The roast was heated on the grill with very little fat on the slices. The bread was toasted; crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.“

“Right from the moment you step in, Bon Bon Bakery hits the sweet spot of technique and flavour. The doughnuts, the milk bread, the pastries... They’re all executed with a level of precision that you rarely see outside a top-notch bakery. (Yes, I mean precision.)

What stands out here is the restraint: you’re not bombarded with sugar, you’re allowed to taste real ingredients. The crumb of the bread is so light and airy you’d think they’d captured a cloud in the oven. The fillings are beautifully balanced, it's enough to make you smile, not so much to make you wince.

The variety is fantastic: you’ve got traditional old-world techniques being used but the flavour profile is fresh, modern, bright. You’ll find something here that reminds you of your bakery travels in Tokyo or Paris, but with its own personality.

Service is friendly, sincere, and you can tell the bakers care. The space is inviting, no gimmicks, just good baking done well.

My only nitpick (and it’s a small one): come early, because the best stuff flies off the shelves. But when you get it fresh? That’s the kind of bake that makes me want to roll up my sleeves and say, ‘This is what a bakery should be.’

“I have gotten to try Annie's at JSE's other location in Federal Way and I fell in love with how delicious the sandwiches and soups are here. I have tried out their pasta salad and definitely want to try out other specials when they happen as I don't think there is anything that Annie makes that isn't delicious! My boyfriend appreciated the toasted bread for the BLT sandwich and he really enjoyed it. I don't know if she stopped offering sprouts for sandwiches, but I do miss that as she is the one who got me into sprouts in my sandwiches.

Sandwiches are huge and packed with each respected ingredients. The soups are always flavorful and comforting. You can see what specials and soups Annie has on Facebook but on our recent visit, she had an additional soup and other specials going on so it's just best to check in or call.“

I didn’t get drunk there but if I was the pizza would have been the perfect remedy. The lady with the short hair served me I didn’t get her name but she was professional, friendly, fast, attentive and a great overall bartender and server. Drinks wee reasonably priced and specialty mixed drinks displayed on the wall with prices. Gentleman in the kitchen was also fast with orders cooked to perfection. Overall I would recommend coming here for a good buzz and a quick bite.“
