“Loved this! They had 2 flavors of fro yo, both delicious and they created beautiful little ice cream cups complete with umbrella! The stuffed strawberries were SO GOOD and I saw people getting amazing looking sandwiches. The staff was so kind and helpful as well!“
“The food is amazing, and the service is even better. I have celiac, and the owners did a terrific job communicating and addressing gluten concerns. The menu does not have dedicated GF labels, but they follow protocols to avoid cross contamination and use tamari instead of soy sauce when asked for GF. I have been multiple times and never gotten glutened, will go back again and again.“
“I LOVE Mediterranean food and was so excited to try out Al Bacha in downtown Tacoma! My friends and I visited this Saturday and I ordered a lamb gyro. Let me tell you this was a top tier full flavor gyro. It was a huge portion of lamb, out of this world tziki, crisp lettuce, and all the vegetables. I also appreciated the drink case with every drink variety you can imagine. Casual dining experience, low price, highlyRecommend this location!Parking: Paid street parking, can be difficult to find parking at peak hours. There is a paid lot around the block.“
“I got shrimp spring rolls and a matcha bubble tea and also some chicken pho it was the best phon ever and the spring rolls were huge and the peanut sauce serving size we need more places like this I’m telling you they were so nice and the even gave me a special spoon for being so kind I went there once and the lady said I was very handsome and I just went today and she remembered me she is the best and the guy there he took my order like it was nothing although regular boba was out today I got matcha you guys need to come here it’s soooooo niceeeee best place I’ve ever been too“
“We love coming here for absolutely delicious pizza, calzones, and sub sandwiches. It's not New York but in terms of vibe and food quality, it's the one that comes closest in Tacoma. There's a LOT of good pizza in Tacoma but this place is modest and you'd never know by looking just how good the food will be. Bonus points for serving single slices every weekday before 3 for the neighborhood high school students from the School of the Arts.Kid-friendliness: A perfect place to bring kids. Super casual and spacious.“
“I used to work across the street and would find every excuse possible to come here. Several times a week I’d get whatever delicious sandwich they were testing up, a chicken melt if I wanted to get nothing done for my day, or fall back on their classic club with some giardiniera.I’ve been away from Tacoma for almost a year and not a week goes by that I’m not thinking about the incredible sandwiches and wonderfully kind people here.Do yourself a favor and eat here.“
“The colors of the walls are vibrant and alive, the staff are very upbeat and happy. If you're looking for a healthy place to eat, this is it! I was surprised and impressed by the size of my wrap. The cost of the food was even less than going to Subway AND got more to eat. My daughter had a fun time eating the chips they sold, and she enjoyed the fruit bowl. This is definitely a one-stop shop for a healthy meal whether it's lunch or dinner!Dietary restrictions: Very friendly to people with dietary needs.Kid-friendliness: My daughter threw her tantrum, but the staff were very positive about it. I felt bad, but they made it definitely feel like it wasn't as big of a deal and I always feel bad for everyone else around us when she has her meltdowns.“
“Time for our monthly dinner out in own. We ate three starters the scallops the braised elk and the gnocchi Mac n cheese. Each dish was beyond expectations. I never knew elk could be so tender. Scallops seared and cooked to perfection. The layers of flavor in the ricotta gnocchi Mac and cheese delighted. For our mains we shared the grassfed hanger steak with melted leeks red wine reduction, garlic aioli, fries. Steak was a perfect and tender medium rare and well seared with the tangy red wine reduction it was rich and tangy all at once. I could cut the beef with the side of my fork so yummy ?AndThe hazelnut fed pork. Heritage Pork ribeye cap, couscous, frisée, hazelnut, shallot. This was the perfect light balance tossed with cool greens and warm couscous the crunch of hazelnuts off set with the amazingly seasoned tender pork made this dish an unexpected adventure.I drank the house Chardonnay which was delicious and my bro tried the special house made rose soda which was unique and fun.The absolute star of the night was dessert the Persian Love Bignets with Cardamom, rose, pistacchio. Served on a bed of cold creme. They smelled amazing so take that second and really take a good sniff cause heavenly flavors to come. The floral of the rose the nutty pistachio crispy shell with dusting of sugar this was heaven sent truly an amazing meal. Only bettered by the amazing friendly and attentive team of servers and cooks who more than met expectations. The bill comes with gratuity included but take note service was so great we tipped above and beyond that. Can't say enough good things about dining at The Table.Parking: This is on 6th Ave so street parking is scarce look for side streets and prepare to walk a block or two.Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible entry half the seating is counter height so make a reservation and also for a wheelchair height table.“
“We had an amazing time. Our waiter was so friendly and prompt (I wish I remembered his name. ) We came in a Thursday night which was perfect to avoid the crowds. I was able to make a reservation and sit by the window. The bread was excellent it comes with salted butter and served warm. My sister said her long island was the best she's ever had. Our steaks were cooked well done as requested and still juicy and flavorful. Everything is essentially Ala carte although you do get a little bit of garlic potatoes as a garnish with your steak and a choice of soup or salad. We will definitely come again. Oh and my waiter made me a cappuccino himself and added flavor since I like a little sweetness to mine and I appreciated that very much.Parking: This steakhouse is located on the 11th floor of the EQC hotel so you have to park in their garage and go up to the hotel. Then you will go up again to the top floor and the entire floor is the restaurant. If you go on a weekend parking might be a little more inconvenient.Kid-friendliness: If you have well behaved children they can absolutely come. If you don't, please don't bring them and ruin other people's dinners. Especially at these prices you're paying for the experience as well as the food.“
“When my friend and I are in the mood to go out dancing we head to Dawson's. I find a lot of Joy in dancing and don't mind dancing all night by myself. We especially like to go when the T-Birds are playing. The last time we went my dentist Dr. Hickey was filling in for them. Next time I go, I will probably be when he is playing with his band. We like to go early and order the fish and chips and our service has always been excellent. Thank you, Denise“
“Pizza was very good! Came in with my family and everyone loved the food. I got the pepperoni mushroom calzone which was one of the best calzones I had. They did bring the pizza out on some plastic serving plates that had a slight smell of cleaning solution. It wasn’t bad but not pleasant as well. We put the pizzas on ceramic plates and smell went away. We would go again possible ask if the pizza can be placed in a to-go box to avoid the smell.“

“Randomly saw this place nestled in a residential neighborhood and decided to stop in. Very glad that I did ? Nice comfortable atmosphere, very clean place. Got a great sandwich and then a beer that I sat outside on their available benches to drink. Absolutely nothing bad to say about this place, will be “
“I had never heard of this bar before, I started coming when Sheri posted she was working here. I knew her from some other places so I was excited to check out something new and something close to home. We came a few times and really enjoyed the food. We came once when it was Sheri’s day off and the service was horrible. The bar had maybe 2 people, and there were 2 tables occupied. We were told we had to order at the bar. I could see the if it was busy…but why if it was so slow? We have definitely noticed a significant improvement since the previous manager left…not only more people but the people who work here just seem friendlier and the food has improved. My friends and I come often for the tacos on Tuesdays (which are so good) and we are happy to see the place so crowded and doing well!“
“We ate here a couple days ago and the food was absolutely delicious. I would give it 5 stars if we were able to deviate from what we selected on the menu. They would not let us change out one of the sides, even if we paid a little more. If you want great Thai food this is the place to go.“
“Probably best pizza ? in Tacoma. Delicate crust and thoughtful high quality toppings make this our time tested favorite.Vegetarian options: It’s pizza so you can mix and match and enjoy.Parking: Street parking. Should be able to find a spot but be ready to walk a block.Kid-friendliness: Casual atmosphere, kiddos (non screaming) would fit right in.“
“Updated: The food is incredible and fast! Definitely worth getting a healthy meal there. We ordered takeout during COVID and were incredibly impressed by the salads we received. Delicious, hearty, and keto friendly. Thanks for providing quality food during this stressful time!“
“Came in with my son's basketball team. Everyone was so friendly. Food was tasty. I had ordered a few more pizzas to go, and the lady assumed I don't eat pork (I wear a head covering) so she changed the pizza cutter to a new one to avoid any cross contamination. I didn't even ask. You guys have a new repeat customer from this alone! Thank you“
“Soups and salads freshly made at a reasonable price. I always have enough for a second lunch. Service and environment is welcoming, clean, and quick. They do have tables for eat in or a small office lunch out.Give them a try while dropping pounds in the New Year!“
“Charming and wonderful. WONDERFUL tea-style finger sandwiches, salads, desserts. You order your tea set and accompanying finger foods in advance of coming, at the time you make reservations, because a lot of care goes into it- the level of an art form. Service is fantastic and atmosphere is so cool. The entire place is decorated and built out of salvaged architectural details and the seating is all private. GREAT place to bring visiting family or have a date.“
“Amazing food, Delicious and healthy! The owner does an amazing job of making fresh, good food. If you haven't tried bison, you absolutely should!Dietary restrictions: If you have allergies, let them know, they are very cautious and circumspect about making safe food“
