““We dined in, and the sushi was very tasty — highly recommend! The only downside was that we waited 20 minutes for glasses of water and 50 minutes for the food to arrive. It seems they are short-staffed for both serving tables and handling takeout. The girl was working alone and managing everything.”“

“Sushi Koushi is my absolute favorite sushi spot. My husband and I have been going since they first opened, and we have been so happy that a sushi place this good has popped up so close to home. Everyone here is very welcoming and helpful, and I'm always amazed at how quickly things come to the table even when it's a busy night.
Normally I don't like uni at all, but this is the only place that I have actually enjoyed it. The rolls and omakase always come out delicious and beautiful, but definitely give the Oita roll a try - it's great for any picky eaters in your party! The udon is also fantastic if you're in the mood for a noodle soup.
The one and only downside is that the location is a bit small and seems to be getting popular (for a good reason), so make sure to plan your visit accordingly!“

“Such nice people working here and the $160 we spent on take out was worth it and SOOOOO GOOD! sushi was fresh and they actually gave us extra wasabi like we asked and didn’t act like extra sauce was the difference between them having or losing their job lol i’ve been coming here for years and it really is the best sushi spot in renton 🙂“

“Simply the best sushi place I've ever been to. I've been here 4 times in the last month, and it's been an incredible experience ever single time. Staff is friendly, the chef is quick, and the menu is unique filled with creative rolls that you just won't find in other places. With a rotating beer tap that has something new every time, this place will continue to be #1 and keep us coming back.“

“We had both the sushi lunch special and the lunch special. The sushi was awesome, really generous cuts of fish that had great flavor.
The rolls were really well presented but were not as tasty as the sushi. There wasn't a choice on the rolls and they just weren't to our taste I think.
The agedashi tofu appetizer was really well done and the edamame was perfect. We also really enjoyed the complimentary miso soup.
Can't wait to come back next time we're in town.“

“Teriyaki Bliss in the Autumn Sun
While walking home on a lovely fall afternoon, I stumbled upon a charming little teriyaki place that seemed to scream, “Eat outside while you still can!” Naturally, I obliged.
I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl, and wow! It was like a warm hug from a long-lost friend. The chicken, grilled to perfection, bathed in a sweet-savory sauce, had my taste buds doing the cha-cha. The rice was fluffy, and the veggies were fresh enough to make you think they just jumped off a farmer's market table—if I knew what that looked like, of course.
As I savored my meal, the sun beamed down, and I had to fend off some curious squirrels who clearly believed my bowl was their next treasure. I perfected my “I will not share” face—an impressive masterpiece, if I do say so myself.
Overall, this teriyaki spot is a must-visit for a delightful meal that pairs perfectly with the last sunny days of fall. Just make sure to bring your sense of humor and maybe a jacket for when the sun sets and the squirrels start plotting! ???️“

“We are regulars at Tokyo. This restaurant has been in Factoria for many years and it is always great. The service is great. The sushi is fresh and delicious. We also order a variety of hot doors such as bento boxes, uson, and various rice bowls. I think their chicken karage is also exceptional. We do both dine in and takeout and it is always great!“

“Well, we went as soon as they opened. As the vegetarian in the group, I had to order off the menu. My cucumber salad was amazing. It was more than just cucumbers, the balance of vinegar and I have never had it on a bed of greens before. I felt satisfied and not disappointed that there weren't any veggie rolls on the track.“

“Very simple food. Not breaking any barriers in new cuisine. Solid Tereyaki, Soba & Sushi. Plus served by a very kind old Japanese man who has run this restaurant for over 20 years. Decor is simple and clean. Great for a casual date night.“

“Update Jan 2026*** I didn't know Teriyaki Bowl could get even better than it already is but now they offer the best crab rangoons and sweet and sour dipping sauce! I have tried so many dissapointing rangoons/sauces in WA but finally Teriyaki Bowl for the win! Thank you! Not sure if they are offered online but definitely in store.
OG Post - Delicious food, clean and cute environment, large portions, and very friendly service! We tried the fried gyozo, chicken teriyaki, and general tso chicken (pictured) and everything was amazing! The chicken was cooked perfectly for both and the sauces were delicious! The general tso was one of the best I have had in a long time. Saucy, crispy, no dry or chewy pieces, all just juicy yummy crispy chicken. I enjoyed all the added veggies too! The salad looked and tasted so fresh with a tasty dressing. I love that you can buy bottles of their homemade sauces. If you eat inside, the presentation of the food is really nice. I can't wait to try more items from the menu. We will definitely be coming back!“

“No nonsense restaurant with good sushi for the money, friendly service, and easy access to street parking.
Dining in, they provide free hot barley tea. You can order at the counter or through the online menu.
The nigiri dinner came with good size fish. The rice was a little hard so I didn't eat most of it. Waitress brought extra wasabi and ginger quickly when we ran out.
Decor is basic but comfortable. Plenty of free on street parking.“

“I have been going to Himitsu since 2012 whenever i want teriyaki since they make it so well. Over the past year or so, it seems like something has changed and the meat is getting overcooked. I usually get chicken teriyaki which in the past has been made with dark meat. Now it seems to be made with chicken breast or meat cut too thin, because it ends up being so overcooked and dry that no amount of sauce can save it. I tried switching to pork teriyaki instead to see if that would be a fattier cut of meat, but it turned out to be thin cut pork chop with no fat, cooked to the consistency of wood chips. I understand ingredients are getting expensive but id rather get a smaller portion of meat that is cut and cooked perfectly like it used to be, than the same amount of meat cut into insanely thin pieces that overcook too fast. I also noticed the side salad is now made with cabbage instead of iceberg lettuce, which doesnt soak up the dressing as well. Maybe a thinner junienne on the cabbage would help?“
