““We dined in, and the sushi was very tasty — highly recommend! The only downside was that we waited 20 minutes for glasses of water and 50 minutes for the food to arrive. It seems they are short-staffed for both serving tables and handling takeout. The girl was working alone and managing everything.”“

“Sushi Koushi is my absolute favorite sushi spot. My husband and I have been going since they first opened, and we have been so happy that a sushi place this good has popped up so close to home. Everyone here is very welcoming and helpful, and I'm always amazed at how quickly things come to the table even when it's a busy night.
Normally I don't like uni at all, but this is the only place that I have actually enjoyed it. The rolls and omakase always come out delicious and beautiful, but definitely give the Oita roll a try - it's great for any picky eaters in your party! The udon is also fantastic if you're in the mood for a noodle soup.
The one and only downside is that the location is a bit small and seems to be getting popular (for a good reason), so make sure to plan your visit accordingly!“

“I drove around during my lunch break yesterday and decided to give this place a try. Overall, the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I ordered the sashimi set, which came with complimentary miso soup, I believe. The portion was more than enough for me. Everything was fresh and delicious—I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!“

“This used to be a excellent beer bar serving amazing beer with mediocre food. Then it changed owners and they started serving solid sushi and still serving amazing beer. They changed chefs earlier this year and they are one of the best sushi restaurants who happens to serve amazing beer. They do sell out of specialty dishes (e g., Ankimo: monkfish liver pate) which is how it should be for delicasies.“

“We love Aji! We live in the Highlands and have eaten at this restaurant more than any other place in Issaquah. It's our go-to for fresh sushi and I love the Japanese and Korean options. Kid and family-friendly and they always have the Seahawks or Mariners game on. Very nice and quick service! Thank you, Aji team!“

“Teriyaki Bliss in the Autumn Sun
While walking home on a lovely fall afternoon, I stumbled upon a charming little teriyaki place that seemed to scream, “Eat outside while you still can!” Naturally, I obliged.
I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl, and wow! It was like a warm hug from a long-lost friend. The chicken, grilled to perfection, bathed in a sweet-savory sauce, had my taste buds doing the cha-cha. The rice was fluffy, and the veggies were fresh enough to make you think they just jumped off a farmer's market table—if I knew what that looked like, of course.
As I savored my meal, the sun beamed down, and I had to fend off some curious squirrels who clearly believed my bowl was their next treasure. I perfected my “I will not share” face—an impressive masterpiece, if I do say so myself.
Overall, this teriyaki spot is a must-visit for a delightful meal that pairs perfectly with the last sunny days of fall. Just make sure to bring your sense of humor and maybe a jacket for when the sun sets and the squirrels start plotting! ???️“

“There was no wait for the table and upon sitting down we were treated to a light and relaxed atmosphere where the wait staff were very attentive and welcoming. The food itself was very satisfying and left nothing to be desired. I will be sure to come back and enjoy more of the same.“

“We had tempura udon and sushi, and it was delicious!!! The servers are super nice too. Laid back vibe. The only reason I’m putting 4 stars instead of 5 is because I ordered the “house sake cold” for $10, and when the bill came, they had charged us for a $30 bottle of sake. When we asked about it, they said they don’t have cold house sake. Could have sworn it was on the menu. They insisted it isn’t… and honestly we didn’t like the sake anyway. But we still had to pay $30. We will still go back! It’s just good to know.“

“Well, we went as soon as they opened. As the vegetarian in the group, I had to order off the menu. My cucumber salad was amazing. It was more than just cucumbers, the balance of vinegar and I have never had it on a bed of greens before. I felt satisfied and not disappointed that there weren't any veggie rolls on the track.“

“I had the aloha roll. It was light and delicious. The rice is cooked perfectly. The wasabi is so good, more flavorful than intensely spicy. The sashimi is excellent quality. The white fish (called super white tuna), had zero fishy taste. I'd never tried it. The dessert was excellent. The cheesecake was one if the best I've had. Super smooth, and very fluffy, which made it too easy to finish! I really enjoyed it and was very impressed at the quality. Woodenville is lucky to have such a good quality international cuisine to add to the more mainstream (but also delicious) selection of restaurants in the area.“

“My husband and I found this little hidden gem while we were heading home from spending the afternoon at the lake. The restaurant is located in a downtown area with cute quaint shops and eateries. There is a decent amount of parking in the lot right next to the building. We came here on a Tuesday evening which apparently is one of their slowest days of the week. The owner is a very kind Japanese man who also made our sushi. We ordered the Seattle roll, five color fish roll, a few types of nigiri sushi and the hamachi sashimi combo. However, prior to our meal, the chef/owner gave us each a small garden salad as an appetizer. Everything tasted very fresh and delicious. As if that wasn't enough, upon clearing our table after our meal, the chef/owner gave us a few complimentary slices of watermelon to help cleanse the pallet. The ambiance was very clean and cozy with a good amount of seating to accommodate many customers. The prices are very reasonable. Overall, we truly enjoyed our experience and look forward to coming when whenever we are in the area.“

“After eating here once, I'm definitely coming back. We ordered the beef yakisoba and spicy chicken as well as an extra side of rice. Me and my brother were both excited by the fact that the yakisoba came with its own rice as well. As for the spicy chicken, it was dry but came with extra sauce, so I couldn't really tell. And the meat portions were very generous. There was also a side of teriyaki sauce on both plates. Overall, great food and service. The casher was very sweet.“
