“Really yummy food. We had the goat dish and the lamb shank dish and the malawah. Took pictures after we had already divvied some of it up. Great portion size. I absolutely loved the clear soup at the beginning and the goat. My husband loved the lamb shank more.“
“This is the most humbling place you could ever eat in the food is extremely delicious and satisfying to the soul the taste is amazing the Atmosphere is amazing I Give praise to the young man who told me where to eat I met at the Airport in Seattle to the owner and your family much blessings from Jah Rastafaria mother of LoveVegetarian options: From the yams to the greens to the little beans everything was good delicious“
“I arrived at the airport early for a flight. Wanted to get lunch and try something different. Gave Africa Lounge a try. As far as airport food goes it was pretty tasty. I ordered the salmon plate. Comes with jollof rice, fried plantains, and spicy tangy sauce. The salmon was slightly overcooked. Not enough to be disappointed. The fried plantains were great. The tangy spicy sauce was not spicy at all. Had good flavor, just no spice. The rice was completely bland. Looked delicious, smelled really good. Absolutely no flavor. It really confused my senses. Had a hard cider to drink. Service was good. Didn’t feel rushed even though they were packed. Not sure why this place has such low reviews. Maybe I caught them on a good day?“
“We pulled up around 1am to get food and let me tell you ... Mama Sambusa did not disappoint!!! The food was absolutely delicious and the lovey lady cooking to us was very kind. If I lived in WA I would be a regular. I highly recommend trying all the Sambusa options! Chicken Sambusa was my favorite as well as the chicken tacos!!!“
“Delicious Somali Takeout in Tukwila. I recently tried takeout, and it was amazing. The place has no seating, but the food more than makes up for it. I ordered goat meat with spaghetti and barbecue chicken with rice. The goat meat was tender and flavorful, a perfect match with the spiced spaghetti. The barbecue chicken was juicy and delicious, paired well with the aromatic rice. The portions were generous and the price reasonable. Even as takeout, the quality and taste were outstanding. It’s a must-try for anyone in Tukwila looking for great Somali cuisine.“
“Quality of food has improved but there is significant price hikeVegetarian options: Not good for veg options as meat dishes are their signature itemParking: Ample spot but some are bit tight.Kid-friendliness: Not enough space for kids but they can enjoy a meal if that's the only intention.“
“Just go here!My first time ever having Somali food. Everyone was so nice and I LOVED the Kati Kati with chicken Suqaar. They serve it with this green sauce on the side that was the perfect complement to the dish. You get an enormous amount of food for the price. They have a nice big parking lot so if you have mobility issues you won't have to walk far.“
“This restaurant is so fun. We got the Samaki Kaanga and Mbuzi Choma, both were delicious! The restaurant is split into a bar/club area and a dining area. If you end up sitting in the dining area a little later in the evening you will hear the music from the club.“
“Absolutely loved the service and the food. This is a block away from the Best Western and was a fantastic option for Lunch and Dinner.I had the Samosa and the Chicken Wrap. Sadly, they have toned down the spice on some dishes because local pallettes are not used to spice. However, I was able to request the authentic/standard level of spice for the Chicken Wrap. It was fantastic. Paired well with the green hot sauce.I also had the Samosa and my Uncle thoroughly enjoyed. He said it changed his life and he has to find places to eat them in the future.“
