I have been to this store on two occassions. Each time I have come away with a new appreciation for the beauty of Japanese textile art and design. My first trip, last year, I purchased two Obi's and have worn them comfortably as a focal art to wear.Last week I purchased a silk Shibori jacket. This is the best coffee in Seattle, served by a wonderful man in an incredible setting. Must visit for anyone who loves coffee, art, and life. A true unique gem and an echo of the spirit this city use to possess, when people had time to appreciate the finer things.

I love this coffee shop. I’ve since moved from Seattle, but every time I’m back in town I plan to come here. The owner is like an Anthropologist, having traveled the world collecting treasures to sell in the shop, telling wild stories from his many adventures. Oh, and the coffee is good too! It’s a gem!
