Chengdu Taste Seattle Reviews
Had lunch here today for the first time. The food was phenomenal and the staff were friendly. This might be my new favorite restaurant in Seattle CID.
Delicious. Good for family style. Wontons were delicious. Cucumber salad had a great szechuan flavor. Quite spicy if you don’t have the palate for it but very very good!!! Service was very quick and friendly. We got as many water jugs as we needed and were very well attended to.
Very good

Chengdu Taste Seattle offers an exceptional Sichuan dining experience, with dishes praised for their authentic flavors and exceptional quality. The menu features a variety of delectable options, including the renowned mapo tofu, which explodes with fiery, unafraid flavor and incredibly soft tofu that acts like a sponge for the rice. Other standout dishes include the crispy chicken with red chili pepper, sauteed eggplant with spicy garlic sauce, and the sour veggie fish, all described as delicious. The restaurant also impresses with its vegetarian offerings, such as stir-fried string beans and shredded potatoes, which are equally satisfying. The portions are generous, and the service is friendly, though some note that rice comes at an extra cost. Whether a spice lover or someone who prefers milder flavors, Chengdu Taste Seattle promises a memorable and flavorful culinary journey, with many calling it one of the best Sichuan restaurants they’ve tried.
